~Story~

Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, on March 30, 1987, Daniel Richard Fliehr has watched his father wrestle so many times that he wanted to be just like him.

At the age of 10, he and his late younger brother Reid started in the form of amateur wrestling for many years until 2007, Danny flew over to Japan, where he trained with one of his father's greatest rivals, the Great Muta, where he learned not just the Japanese style of wrestling, but how to use ring psychology to his advantage.

All of the teachings Danny would get from Keiji would result him in winning the GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion, at least one time before tagging with Reid, winning the IWGP World Tag Team Championships on 2 occasions.

But on March 29, 2013, a day before his birthday, his brother, Reid Fliehr, has died from a drug overdose.

Hearing the news from his father, Danny broke down and was a total mess of the whole incident. He even vowed to never touch a drug, no matter what kind, prescription or not, while abstaining from alcohol consumption, with the fear that he might go down the same road his late brother had been on.

Feeling the urge to represent his late brother, Danny reinvented himself, donning the charisma, looks, work ethic, and moveset his father Ric had done in his career.

While Danny had kept the Figure Four Leglock, he infused his father's moveset with Japanese strong style to stand out from the rest of the competition, making him one of the best wrestlers in the entire world, but in 2015, his sister Ashley, best known as Charlotte Flair, would move onto the main roster and start forging her own path.

He was supportive of her at first until he realized what she was doing: she was trying to beat him to their father's record of a 16 time world champion by trying to become a 16 time women's champion while proclaiming to have the passion to give Reid the legacy that could've been achieved.

Danny had even heard from many of the women in the locker room on how much of a narcissistic asshole she was in trying to get all the titles for herself while all of them sit in catering.

Outraged by this, Danny ignored every news report about his sister and would work hard, not letting his father's legacy become a burden while making a name for himself in the indies.

In the National Wrestling Alliance, Danny would become a three time NWA World Heavyweight Champion.

In New Japan, he would become a two time IWGP World Heavyweight Champion and a four time IWGP United States Champion while becoming a two time Ring of Honor World Television Champion.

In 2017, during an interview that involved Charlotte, she was asked about her brother Danny trying to copy her and take all the glory for himself when in reality, Danny has never wanted to do that to anyone since everyone in the back had praised him for being humbled, kind, and friendly towards his peers.

Hearing about his sister's comments about him, Danny had enough and fired a shot at her on her, saying,

@DannyFlair1987

"Holy shit, you delusional and entitled fake boobed bitch. I ignored every success you had within WWE since it all had to do with our father's name while I had to forge my own path. It's not disrespect, it's just spitting on you for being a pitiful sad narcissist"

And boy did that response blow up on Twitter in a big way.

Ashley would respond with,

@MsCharlotteWWE

"You know in your soul you'll never say it to my face, little brother"

And Danny responds with,

@DannyFlair1987

"You literally have a record of winning the title nonstop because of the name. You've been trying to cancel me for years now, you goofy AI. Even if you reach our father's record, it doesn't change the truth, you're still a narcissist who only has one moveset"

@MsCharlotteWWE

"You're not special from the other fanboys who try to imitate our dad. If you got a problem, stop talking on Twitter, let's settle this like grownups"

To paraphrase her statement, "Yeah, I'm a narcissist. Wanna bitch about it?"

And Danny put the final nail in the coffin with,

@DannyFlair1987

"Got Manny working on your responses? Sis, I have no problem. You got super upset when I started wrestling before you could and publicly admitting on how I'm keeping our dad's legacy alive. Instead of being mad at me, you should be mad at yourself and have some self-reflection"

Speaking in an interview with Fightful Select, Danny offered his thoughts about Ashley getting all the titles while the women in the back don't.

He says,

"It's just so stupid. It's just so f**king stupid. Like, I want you to understand that the difference between the two of us is that I worked hard just enough to earn those titles while she [Ashley] gets them just because of our father's name. How is that not the ultimate sign of scandalous, like, even more so than her boobs being faker than wax fruit?

How can she say with a straight face that I don't care about our father's legacy? I care so much about it that her thinking that she's better than me in regards to wrestling is just asinine. I'm not kidding, but talking about Ashley is not fun for me at all. I absolutely hate it. I understand that she has a fetish for being criticized, so I do hope that this helped her orgasm one more time from all of it."

The answer to the question the interviewer had to Danny about Ashley received praise from fans and wrestlers alike while his father Ric had disowned him after those comments and his sister had refused to talk to him anymore, but that didn't stop him from being contacted by HHH after his contract with the NWA expired.

In late 2018, after all the success he had gotten, Danny signed with NXT, appearing at ringside for NXT Takeover: WarGames II to a huge ovation from the fans.

When his segment on the screen was over, Danny offered the fans around him autographs and took pictures with the kids as he gave away some of his own money to a young man who was trying to sell concessions to the people in attendance.

In the back, after the show, Danny met the people who were going to be working with him as one of the females, named Kacy Catanzaro, former American Ninja Warrior contestant turned wrestler, starts to take a liking to the handsome young man, but how does Danny feel about her?
