Hey guys so this chapter is not complete though it is just Tony's P.O.V. that needs to be completed I don't know when it will be finished because this P.O.V. is a lot to work on but you guys have been waiting months for this chapter so I am going to publish Steve's P.O.V. and update it when I finish Tony's P.O.V. so I'm sorry for wait guys and enjoy.

Steve's pov

I am woken up when I hear a converastion between Jarvis and Tony. "Sir the plane will be landing shortly. I have taken the liberty of bringing one of your cars to the air port."

"Thank you Jarvis."

"It is my pleasure Sir I am also to inform you that Ms. Potts has arrived at the house in a rather foul mood."

"Alright Jarvis."

Rubbing my eyes I then stretch out which makes Tony look up at me. "How long was I asleep?"

Tony looks at me as if he is studying me before going back to his hologram. "An hour and a half."

Adjusting myself in my seat I look out the window as we land to see that it is still dark outside. When get off the plane I see a black SUV and a silver sports car that pulls up next to it. As we get down the stairs the roof of the sports car comes down reveling no one in it. While Happy takes what I am assuming are his and Tony's bags to the SUV Tony heads to the sports car. Putting on his shades he gets into the driver's seat and looks at me. "Well are you getting in or am I leaving you here?"

Once I get in Tony revs up his engine as he looks at Happy who is driving the SUV. Happy gives Tony a thumbs up and the next thing I know Tony slams on the gas speeding away. As we drive on an empty road way over the speed limit which is kind of terrifying me. "Um... Tony could you slow down a bit."

"What?"

He glances at me and I swear he speeds up slightly as he says. "Aren't you a big buff war guy and you are scared of a little fast driving."

After an hour drive of fast sharp turns and empty road Tony finally slows down as he drives thru a gate. Pulling into the long drive way parking his car I let out a sigh of relief. When I get out of the car I face it and lean against it for a second to regain my balance. Once I do I finally turn to the house and take it in. Truthfully I'm shocked Tony's house is beautiful, but in a simplistic way. I had expected his house to be a huge mansion with tons of servants and for it to be in an area where his house could be shown off to everyone. Instead its a futuristic yet modern home. Big, but not huge its placed on the edge of a clift. Which has a perfect view of the ocean which is far from prying eyes and very much isolated from the world.

As we walk inside to the large open living room I see a fuming ginger haired woman dressed in business clothes. Turning to look at us fully I see tears in her eyes. Getting close to her Tony tells her. "Now Pepper I can explain."

Yet before he can get a chance to Pepper slaps him startling both Happy and me. While Tony on the other hand rubs his jaw. "Ow that hurt, but I did have it coming."

"What were you thinking Tony you locked yourself in this house for a week. Not letting anyone inside then the next thing I know I hear that you are at the Stark Expo from the t.v.. On top of that it looks like your health has gone down. Its the reactor isn't it? Its only two months old and I must have done something wrong when I put it in."

That's when Tony does something that is the opposite of what I was told about him. Grabbing Pepper by the arm he pulls her into him hugging her tightly. "I am sorry that I ghosted you Pepper. I was just in one of my moods and the reactor is working fine I did talk you through it step by step."

Pepper pulls away slightly, so that she can meet Tony's eyes as she says. "Tony you were in cardiac arrest the whole time."

"I was the first time you replaced the reactor and it all went fine. I'm fine Pep I've just been in my lab a lot you know how I can be."

I am surprised by how genuinely sorry he sounds. When they both let go of each other her eyes fall on me giving Tony a surprised questioning look. "Oh right this is Captain Steve Rogers. He is here because I kind of have started supporting the avengers now for access to Shield's data base."

Pepper gives me a warm smile in greeting, but as soon as she looks at Tony it quickly becomes stern. "And how do you plan on supporting them?"

"Well I'm a billionaire, so I'll use my money and I'm giving them the old man's abandon facility that on this property."

"When you say money you mean the company's money."

"If you mean the same company that I own and am CEO of then yes."

"Tony the stocks are already going to drop with the changes you are going to make. Which is going to make not only the stocks drop, but the board of directors upset they could try and lock you out."

"Pepper I am dealing with it. Plus with Obadiah's help that won't happen. Now you should head home I will have Happy take you home. I'm going to show the Captain here to his room then head down to the lab to finish some work."

Crossing her arms across her chest her eyes narrow at Tony. "You will not be going down to that lab for the rest of the night Tony you need sleep. I will show Captain Rogers to his room and you will head to bed now."

"Pepp..."

"No if you don't head up those stairs right now I will call Rhodey, so he can deal with you."

Putting his hands up in surrender he smirks and says. "Alright alright I'm going I'm going. You don't have to threaten me like that though."

Putting his hands down he kisses Pepper on the cheek before heading up stairs. "Night Pep."

"Goodnight Tony."

Pepper waits for a second until she hears a door open and close. Once that happens her smile returns and she shows me to my room. As we walk I decide to get to know her. "So how long have you two known each other?"

"Happy and I have know him for twenty years. Though Rhodey has know him Tony's whole life since his mom was Howard Stark's lawyer."

"I take it he doesn't have many friends."

"No its just me, Happy, Rhodey, and Obadiah. That's not including Jarvis who is with Tony 24/7, but he is an A.I. Tony made years ago and DUM-E a robot also of Tony's design."

We stop at my room and Pepper wishes me a good night before leaving with Happy. Entering my room I close the door behind me as I start to check out my room. The room is simple with a queen size bed in the center of the room with cozey white sheets. On either side of the bed is a nightstand with a lamp on each one. On the other side of the room is a dresser with a key and a note on it. Picking up the note it reads. 'A key to the house don't lose it.'

Putting down the note I take the key and put it on one of my nightstands. Heading back to my dresser I open one of the drawers expecting it to be empty, but find clothes all in my style and size. "I had clothes placed into this room for you when I was informed by Mr. Stark of your stay."

"Um... Thank you..."

"Jarvis it stands for Just a really very intelligent system. It was also the name of the family butler who's personality I was designed after."

"The family butler?"

"Yes Mr. Stark was very fond of him as he was the one who raised Mr. Stark till his passing."

"And Tony created you?"

"Yes I have been with Mr. Stark since he was ten."

"Oh well thank you Jarvis."

"You are quite welcome Captain."

After a few moments of awkward silence I continue to look around my room. Opening a door I find a bathroom. Deciding to take a shower I grab a change of clothes. Turning on the hot water I strip off all my clothes and get in. As the hot spray of the water hits my skin I can't help, but let out a sigh as my tense muscles relax. As I wash my hair my mind wanders to thoughts of Tony. 'What kind of person is he really? Why does he hate his father and me, so much? What is his relationship with this Rhodey guy?'

Seeing him act like that earlier was not what I expected from him. It was a bit of a shock to see him, so sheepish and actually sorry. 'He seems to really care about what she thinks. It was kind weird seeing this side of him with how he was acting toward me earlier. Seeing this softer more relatable side of him than the side of him I saw at the expo. What if there is more to Tony than meets the eye? Maybe I judged him a bit to quickly and I should try to look deeper for the real Tony.'

Turning off the water I get out. Drying myself off I slide on a pair of boxers and sweatpants. Climbing into bed I lay there staring at the ceiling like I do every night until sleep takes me.

I am woken early in the morning by a dream. Sitting up I climb out of bed and head to the bathroom. Splashing some water on my face I wake myself up fully. Streaching I let out a groan leaving the bathroom I put on a white under armor shirt and running shoes. Deciding to go for a run I grab my new house key and leave the house to start my daily sprint as I enjoy the view of the sun rising from the ocean. As I run I can't help, but think of the 40's. Of Tony's father Howard, Peggy, Dr. Erskine, even the Red Skull, and of course the man I had been crushing on for years my best friend Bucky. Since in the 40's it was wrong to be gay, so I never told anyone or confessed my feelings to Buckey. Though now being gay is perfectly acceptable, but I still haven't told anyone. Nat is the only one that knows, but that's because she figured it out on her own. Even though I know Bucky is gone I haven't been in love with anyone since. Nor have I tried to look.

Stopping I realize that I am at a beach. Even though no one is here I can't help, but smile because it is, so beautiful and peaceful. Sitting down on the soft sand my mind starts to wander back to Tony. 'How can I get him not to hate me? Do I remind him that much of his father? Why does he hate his father, so much? Maybe if I can make him see me as me and not something his father created. If I do that then maybe I can get him to open up to me. Wait why do I even care what he thinks about me it shouldn't matter, but it does. Maybe it is because he is Howard's son and we are team mates now too.'

Thats when I realize it. Weirdly enough Tony has been the only thing on my mind this past hour. I get up dust the sand off of my sweat pants and start my treck back to yhe mansion. When get there I fish for the key Tony gave me before from my pocket and try to finally steer my thoughts away from him. When I open the door I hear a loud crash followed by a string of curses. I notice it came from the basement and follow it to find out what happened. When I get to the bottom of the stairs im met with a glass wall and door. On the other side is a room filled with technology. This must be his lab. When I get to the glass door Jarvis announces my arrival which tony tells him to stop doing. Jarvis unlocks the glass door and I enter the room. Tony is sitting on the floor with weird metal boots that have cords attached to his arc reactor on his feet Next to him i notice a robatic arm holding a fire extinguisher which explains why he is covered in the foam. The robotic arm makes a noise and tony glares at it as he wipes away the foam off his face. At the sight on tony I can't help, but smirk and chuckle slightly. "How's it going?"

Tony glare turns from the robot to me. "What's so funny?"

The robot makes a sound moving the fire extinguisher up and down saying something that Tony seems to understand. What ever it said seems to frustrate Tony as his glare returns to the robot. "Shut up DUM-E and start cleaning up the mess you made."

Wiping the foam off of his face he tears the metal boots off of him and I smile slightly reacher a hand towards him. "Need help?" 

Tony glares at me. "No thanks grandpa" I chuckle.

He tears off the rest of the equipment gets up and ignores my outstretched hand. My smirk quickly turns to worry when he stands grips his back and winces in pain. I start to step closer. "What happened? Are you hurt?"

Tony wipes the foam off from the rest of his body . "No I'm fine." As he says this Jarvis shows what happened before I came on a projection screen.

What I see gives me a mixed feeling of worry and shock. Tony had slammed into the ceiling hard as he tested the metal booty only to hit the ground just as hard. My concern must have seeped into my face because Tony says. "What? I'm fine I've been hurt worse than this in just designing my armor."

Although he said that it doesnt help how i feel in fact it makes me feel worst.... But i try to change my face or something try to hide it my concern. "Just don't get yourself severely hurt just by designing some armor."

At that Tony just rolls his eyes at me. "Fine."
