5: Nightmares come to life

Bunny: Why is this so hard to figure out

Bunny groaned as she struggled, trying to tighten the last few screws. Currently she was working on trying to finish an old  project she started on years ago, but never got to finish. It was very special that she finished it, because it would serve a great need in her life soon. She suddenly pulled her hand back, whimpering as a burning feeling flowed through her arm. It hurt, but it wasn't nothing compared to what she had felt before. Sighing, she decided to give up for the day she she stood up from her desk. Walking into the living room, she was created with the sight of Vincent sitting on the couch. The T.V wasn't on, so he must've been thinking about something. Shaking her head, she walked into the kitchen to get herself something to drink.

Vincent: Hey Bunny

Bunny: Hey Vincent

Even after all those years together, there was a small part of her that found the purple haired male to be untrustworthy. He always seemed to hide things from her, or just straight up lie to her. Rolling her tired eyes, she went and sat down across from him as usual.

Vincent: Are you okay?

Bunny: Yes, now can I go?

Vincent: Sure, but remember to relax yourself. Me and Mike are going to the store to get a few things

Bunny: Don't tell me what to do

Getting up, she left her glass and went back to her room. Closing the door, she turned and crawled directly into bed. Her curtains blocked out the sunlight, leaving her lying in darkness. Listening she heard the front door open and close, meaning she was home alone.

Bunny: I'm alone again

She reached under her pillow, pulling out an old cracked tablet. Turning it on, it flickered to life as a galaxy wallpaper filled the screen. She went directly to the camera gallery, where her memories stayed. A faint smile formed as she looked at each picture, a memory behind it.

Bunny: I wish I could bring you back already

She flopped back, her back on the bed as she stared at the ceiling. Clutching the tablet tightly to her chest, she let out a soft purr and her ceiling lit up with fake stars.

Bunny: But at the same time I know you're somewhere safe.

Her closet door squeaked opened, causing her to snap out of her little moment for a bit.

'Then why don't you join them

Sitting up, she pressed her back against the bed frame as she grabbed the flashlight and aimed it at the closet. There was nothing but her clothes hanging inside, causing her to let out a long sigh.

Bunny: Maybe it's just my imagination

Her ears twitched, trying to locate the annoying singing sound that has started once again. It was like it echoed around the house all around her, so she couldn't pinpoint it.

'You're true nightmare awaits you now'

Bunny: What does that even mean

The ringing stopped, leaving her silence. She was confused and on edge by this point, just in God's name had happened? Sighing, she decided to shake it off and get some water. She jumped off the bed, walking towards her door to get to the kitchen.

'Aww, leaving so soon I see.'

Her entire body froze, hearing the voice come from behind. She tried to reach for the doorknob, but her body was to scared to even move.

'Why don't you turn around, don't you wanna see an old friend.'

Her breathing became rough as she turned her head, tears filling her eyes. Her eyes widened as she let out a loud scream, running out the room. Meanwhile inside laughter ensued.

'I guess she doesn't like the new look'

'Then this'll be a blast'

*The picture looked cool I had to*
