Ivy's POV

Dave and I were both having a late lunch - 'lunner' (lunch-dinner).

"So I might have forgotten to mention how great of a dancer you are with all that was going on yesterday and this morning" he winked at me

I turned a light shade of red.

"Still shy?" He asked, bewildered "After everything?"

I giggled like a school girl.

"So where did you learn to dance like that?" He asked as I took our dishes to the sink

"Lez and I were in a dance group in High School" I said as I put the dishes in the dish washer "But we were never a thing, it was something the whole group did for fun. Our pastime"

"Well, you know how to move" he said

I looked behind me to find him smirking
"Do I hear a pun?" I smiled

He shrugged and winked.

Dirty...lover!!?

"Before I forget, I kinda called your parents and told them you want to see them tomorrow"

I turned round and glared at him
"You what?!"

"Babe, its about time you clear the air. It's taking too long and...we agreed on this"

Babe?

I sorta liked that but...I'm mad at him right now.

"I agreed that I was gonna talk to them but not anytime soon. Soo, uncall and...I don't know, unsay what you said"

"Babe..." he got up and came into the kitchen "...I love you" he held me in his arms

That sorta calmed me down.

I looked up at him

"As hard as this is for you, you have to do it. Just talk to them. Tell them how you feel and sort everything out. I promise you once it's over, you'll be happier knowing everything is fine with your parents. No grudges. It's not worth it. Okay?" He asked

I nodded.

He kissed my forehead.

"I love you too..." I said "...babe"

He looked at me and laughed.

We had a very lazy day. Watched suits till dinner time.

I heard the front door open when we were getting ready to have dinner.

"Babe, did you invite anyone?" I called Dave who was in the kitchen

"No" he said, eyebrows creased

Must be Luke and Lez. They're the only ones who barge into our apartment like that

I saw them come into the living room and smiled
"What are you guys doing here?"

"Babe, who is it?" Dave called from inside

"No one" I called "Just some peasants" I grinned at the two in front of me

"Well thank you, Ivy" Lez said as she joined Dave in the kitchen

"Hey you!" Luke said kissing my cheek "How's it going?"

"Great" I said

"We were just about to have dinner" Dave said as Lez hugged him "Why don't you peasants join us"

I laughed.

"How glad of you to ask, I'm famished" Lez said as she took my plate and began eating

"That's mine...yea, you can have it" I said as I went into the kitchen to bring two more plates of food for Luke and I.

"Here" I said placing a plate in front of Luke.

"Thanks" he said

I sat down and everyone began eating. Everyone except Lez who had almost finished her portion.

"So...last night huh" Luke said "Very fun"

Dave and I looked at eachother smiling.

"You can say that" Dave said

Luke looked at us, back and forth.
"I wasn't talking about that, but, yea whatever" he said

"So what made you forgive this silly ass?" Lez spoke, finally

"Uhh..." I began

"We agreed we were in love with eachother and no one else mattered" Dave saved me

"Hmm..." Luke said looking at Lez

"Looks like our plan worked" Lez said

"What plan?" Dave and I asked

"Uhh..." she began looking scared "...Uhh...ask Luke"

Our gazes turned to Luke who looked scared shitless.

"Don't look at me" he said looking down at his plate

"One of you has to talk" Dave said to them "And you're gonna talk"

"Well..." Lez began "...we were playing matchmaker; the upgraded version. It's not like we did anything bad. We were just helping you guys"

"Yea. I mean you always told me how you didn't know if Ivy was in love with you" Luke said

"And you too" Lez said to me "So we made a plan. Get you guys jealous of eachother and freaking mad so that you can spill the truth"

"You guys just needed a little push" Luke said "I mean, everyone around you could see the love you had for eachother except the both of you. Very stupid"

"Pot calling kettle black" Dave said

I smiled at him.

He knew.

"What's that suppose to mean?" Luke asked

"Well, you're on about how we didn't see the love we had for eachother, same goes for you two" I said to them

They went silent and looked at us before looking at eachother.

"Uh, it was nice having dinner with you guys but I'm gonna take off" Lez said getting up

"Wait what?!" I asked getting up too

"I have a shoot tomorrow" she said

"Really?" I asked "Cause I doubt you'd have eaten anything if you have a shoot tomorrow"

She looked so guilty
"Well, I do have to go" she said and left

We heard the door slam
"What was that all about?" Dave asked

Luke cleared his throat
"I'm gonna go too...shoot..."

"Don't even lie to us" Dave said

Luke nodded and left too.

"Something's up with those two" Dave said standing beside me

"Definitely" I said

"Wanna find out and do to them what they did to us?" I asked, smirking

Dave looked at me, smiling
"I like where your head's at Mrs. Connor" he said

"Well, thank you Mr. Connor" I gave a curtsey.

He laughed.

So the night was kinda a repeat of the previous night, only soo much heightened, if that was even possible.

Can't wait for tomorrow!

But I do love my parents and like Dave said, I need to sort this thing out.

I missed them.

I missed everyone.

I've been in contact with grandpa and grams.

Ian, Iva and little Thomas.

But my parents, I missed them.

I don't think I plan on editing though cause the stress of going through the book again is...sighs...a job on its own.

Few more chapters to go. Currently working on the Epilogue. Yep, the Epilogue.
