Then a few hours later at Magnus's loft, Magnus and Alec are both in the bedroom laying on their bed after they had a bit of sex in the shower, Magnus was now wearing his pajamas pants on and wearing a robe that opens a bit to see his chest, while Alec only has his jeans on.

Magnus is now laying against his shadowhunter boyfriend with one arm wrap around his waist while his free hand is massaging Alec's chest gently, while Alec has one arm wrap around Magnus while his other arm is behind his head.

"I can't believe Lorenzo will have the nerve to accuse you for something that you didn't do." Said Alec as he frown a bit.

"Alexander, please calm down, I don't want you get into trouble with the High Warlock." Said Magnus as he look at Alec.

"I know, but the way that's he accusing you for something you didn't do, that's just wrong." Said Alec as he look at Magnus." I mean you were as shock as all of us last night."

"Well, I'm guessing that Lorenzo Rey doesn't like me at all." Said Magnus as he trace his hand all over Alec's chest.

"Well, if you ask me, he's not a really great High Warlock, and I don't think the others like him." Said Alec as he look at the ceiling.

"What makes you say that?" Asked Magnus as he keep tracing Alec's chest.

"Because Lorenzo mention some pretty affective moments that the others don't like to talk about." Said Alec as he look upset." I mean I know that he is the new High Warlock of Brooklyn, but he doesn't to mention some pretty sensitive stuff."

"Alexander, please calm down." Said Magnus as he look at Alec.

"I can't Magnus, I'm just too upset right now, that Lorenzo has to nerve to accuse you, and yet mention some sensitive subjects to my siblings and our friends, and that. . ." Said Alec was about to continue.

Magnus rolled his eyes when Alec talking about Lorenzo and his bad attitude, that he started to lean down, and then Magnus press his lips at Alec's sensitive nipples and began sucking on it gently, which caused Alec to moan as he felt Magnus's soft lips on his sensitive nipples.

"Well, I hope you're not offend, if you could at least put on a shirt whenever we go out, it's a little more distracting wanting to kiss your sexy chest every five minutes." Said Magnus as he chuckle a bit.

"Yeah that's probably a good idea." Said Alec as he smiles a bit.

"Well, I better get ready." Said Magnus as he got up.

"Wait why?" Asked Alec as he sat up a bit.

"I kinda had some appoints with some people I need to help, since I'm no longer the High Warlock of Brooklyn, I get to see the people I want to see." Said Magnus as he smiles.

That got Alec to be really happy for Magnus, but he still feels awful that Magnus has to step down as High Warlock of Brooklyn, that he started to get out of the bed, and he started to go to Magnus.

"Are you sure you are okay Magnus?" Asked Alec as he look at Magnus.

"I'm okay Alexander, I'm just exhausted from last night, but I'll be fine." Said Magnus as he smiles.

Alec started to notice that Magnus is lying that he's fine, but he decided to let it go for now on, then he started to put on his shirt and his boots on again. Then Alec have started to remember about the Demonic Ley Lines, then he started to get idea on how to find out about them.

"Hey Magnus, I'm about to go out for a while." Said Alec as he look at Magnus.

"Okay, but once you come back, I still like to see your sexy chest." Said Magnus as he smirk." Like I said before, I really like what I saw about you."

That got Alec to blush at eBay Magnus said but smile at his beautiful warlock boyfriend, then he started to grab his leather jacket, then he give Magnus a loving kiss, and started to leave the loft. Then as Alec exited the building, he started to text Clary to meet him at the center of Brooklyn.

Then a few minutes later, Clary have arrived to where Alec wanted to see her, then Clary saw Alec waiting for her and started to go to him. Then Alec saw Clary and goes to her as well.

"Hey Clary." Said Alec as he hugs Clary." It's good to see you."

"Hey Alec." Said Clary as she hugs Alec." It's good to see you too."

You see, before when Clary didn't know she was a Shadowhunter, Alec initially strongly disliked Clary the first time he met her, and wasn't subtle about it. He was not willing to help Clary and only did so because Jace insisted on it. This tension even resulted in Alec briefly being jealous of Clary, due to Jace's obvious attraction for her.

But then one day, when they were hunting down a demon who is possessing other people's body, Alec was posses by one and killed Jocelyn, Clary's mother. Clary knew that it wasn't Alec's fault, but Alec couldn't help but feel guilty for what he had done, and how badly he treated Clary. But Clary forgave him and tells him that he's the best shadowhunter she ever met.

Alec eventually got over this, realizing over time that Clary was a good person in her own right. He began to open up to her and embraced the idea of being allies, and eventually friends. Then after months of friendship, the two have formed such a close bond that Alec now even goes to Clary for help and advice

"How's Magnus doing?" Asked Clary as she looks at Alec.

"He's doing okay, he's a bit upset, but he'll be okay." Said Alec as he looks at Clary.

"So, what is it that you need to see me?" Asked Clary as she looks at Alec.

"We need to find out if Asmodeus is making all these Demonic Ley Lines." Said Alec as he look serious." And to find out, we needed to speak to him."

When Alec have said that, it got Clary to get really shock about the idea, she knows that Asmodeus isn't the one who's doing the Demonic Ley Lines, but she also want to know who is causing the Demonic Ley Lines.

"Okay look Alec, I also wanted to know who caused the Demonic Ley Lines, but how are we supposed to talk to Asmodeus?" Asked Clary as she looks confused." I mean, he's a Greater Demon, wouldn't that risk putting the whole city in danger, even though he did help us."

"We are not going to bring him here, we are going to summon his spirit, and I know a warlock who can do that." Said Alec as he look serious.

That got Clary to get really curious about a warlock who can summon spirits, so Alec and Clary have both started to go to the other side of Brooklyn to Chinatown. A few minutes later, Alec and Clary have both arrived at a Chinatown, and then they both arrived at a fortune teller store and enter the store.

When they both enter the shop, Clary and Alec have both saw many spell books, many mirrors, and a round table with a crystal ball. Alec and Clary were both really impressed about the room, and then a elder woman came in walking around like she was blind, and the women's name is Vera.

"Who would you like to commune with, my dear?" Asked Vera as she walks around blind." A long-lost relative, a fallen friend, or a lover?"

"We want to commune Asmodeus." Said Clary as he look at Vera." Prince of Edom."

"I'm sorry, I don't understand." Said Vera as she acts confused.

"Don't you think the whole blind fortune-teller thing is a little bit tired?" Asked Alec as he look at Vera." Look, I know you're a warlock, and your power to channel spirits is real, are you gonna help us or not?"

Then once Alec have said that, Vera have started to stop acting confused, then she have started to sit down at her table and look at Alec and Clary with a really serious look on her face.

"Channeling demon royalty, that's quite a request." Said Vera as she taps on her table." It'll cost extra."

Then Alec started to step forward to the table, then he started place a few gold coins and a big full with many coins to the table, while Clary also place a few gold coins at the table as well.

"Very well, I will try to channel Asmodeus." Said Vera as she looks at Alec and Clary." But he will only come if he desires it."

"What does that mean?" Asked Clary as she looks confused.

"What she's saying is that a spirit can only be summon if they want to see the person who is calling out to them." Said Alec as he explains.

Then Alec and Clary have both started to sit down at the table, then the Vera started to close her eyes, then as she took a deep breath, then she started to chant something in Latin, and then a gently started to blow through a bit, and then magic started to go around Vera, and a man appeared after the magic faded away.

The man has short black hair, dark brown eyes that are like Magnus's, he is wearing a black shirt on, a dark blue blazer coat on, has black pants on, and black shoes on, and a cane in his hands. The mans name is Asmodeus Bane, he is a Greater Demon of Edom, and is known as Magnus's father.

"Alexander Gideon Lightwood." Said Asmodeus as he smiles." Clary's Fairchild, this is such a surprise."

"Hello Asmodeus." Said Alec as he look at Magnus's father.

"It's been months since we last saw you." Said Clary as she looks at Asmodeus.

"Why yes it has, I gotta say it's really nice to you two again." Said Asmodeus as he smiles at them.

"Well, to be really honest with you Asmodeus, we were a bit nervous to speak to you, since we know about your temper." Said Alec as he felt nervous.

"I see, you are revering to the fact that I was really angry at Valentine, and for what he had did to my son." Said Asmodeus as he look at Alec and Clary." Don't worry, I got over my temper, and I'm doing good now."

"Yeah, judging by the way you say that, I take it that you like torturing my father." Said Clary as she looks at Asmodeus.

"And why would you say that my dear?" Asked Asmodeus as he look at Clary.

"Because we can see the blood stain on your hands." Said Alec as he look at Asmodeus.

Then Asmodeus started to look at his hand and saw that Clary was right about the blood stain on it, and smile a bit and started to look back Clary and Alec.

"Ah yes, I was having a blast of torturing the man that hurt my son, and I wanted to show him how it feels to be tortured." Said Asmodeus as he smiles." Speaking of which, how is my son doing?"

"He's doing okay, still trying to get use to being alone." Said Alec as he explains." But he's doing okay."

"Oh really, because even though I can't see him, I can still feel how he's feeling." Said Asmodeus as he look concerned." I thought he might be still upset after what happen with Valentine Morgenstern."

Then once Asmodeus have said that, it got Alec and Clary's hearts to warm up when they both realized that Asmodeus have really cared about Magnus, even though he is a Greater Demon, he is still like a caring father, and they both smile at Asmodeus.

"Magnus made his peace with that." Said Alec as he smiles but then frowns a bit.

"But your instincts are right, Magnus was upset about something, we are not sure if Magnus wanted us to tell you this, but you need to know." Said Clary as she looks at Asmodeus.

Then Asmdoeus have started to wait for Alec and Clary to explain about why was Magnus was recently upset for the past few days, then as Alec and Clary took a deep breath, and then Alec started to explain first.

"In light of which of what happen the last few months, the Warlock Council were talking about how Magnus sacrifice himself to be Valentine's slave." Said Alec as he explains.

"But he had to sacrifice himself in order to protect the downworlders." Said Asmodeus as he looks at Alec and Clary." He did it to protect everyone he love."

"Still based on a review of his actions when he sacrificed himself to Valentine, the Warlock Council think that he was being a coward." Said Clary as she explain." And based on that review, they are making him step down as High Warlock of Brooklyn."

"What?!" Said Asmodeus in shock.

"They're making him step down as High Warlock of Brooklyn." Said Clary as she continues." And the Council found a replacement to take Magnus's spot as High Warlock."

"This is completely unjust, he given his life to protect the downworlders!" Said Asmodeus as he feel really angry." This is total hypocrisy, what about the vampires, the werewolves, and the Seelies, I mean they really appreciate you protecting them from Valentine, and what about the warlock's?!"

"The warlock's have appreciated that Magnus protected them from Valentine, along with the vampires, the werewolves, and the Seelies." Said Alec as he explains." The warlock's all try to convince the Warlock Council to not let him step down, but Magnus had too, but the warlock's didn't like the idea."

"That is exactly my point!" Said Asmodeus as he still look angry." They all understand that he should be rewarded, not stepping down as High Warlock of Brooklyn!"

"We know, we told Magnus that, but he told us not to make this harder than it already is." Said Clary as she look at Asmodeus.

But apparently Asmodeus was calming down and he is really upset that Magnus have step down, and he rub his head in anger because he knows that Magnus doesn't deserve this, and then Alec and Clary saw how upset he is, they both look at each other and realize they need to tell him and then Alec explain first.

"Magnus's punishment is more severe because his sacrifice is severe too." Said Alec as he started to explain." When he was still Valentine's sex slave, he convinced Valentine to make sure that he won't hurt all the downworlders and making sure he won't get rid of them, he almost tried to kill him self and made sure that Valentine won't kill the downworlders."

"Magnus made sure that Valentine won't harm them." Said Asmodeus as he look at Alec.

"Only after when Magnus knew that Valentine had lie to him." Said Clary as she explains." Once he knew that Valentine lied to him about staying away from the downworlders, he couldn't believe what had happen, he was so ashamed of what Valentine did, that he did everything he could to get him to stop hurting his family and friends."

"That's very noble of my son." Said Asmodeus as he look at Alec and Clary." But if he's not going to fight this, I will, even if that means wrecking chaos."

"No Asmodeus, Magnus may not show it much, but he doesn't want you to rush your life." Said Magnus as he look at Alec." He doesn't want to let his problems interfere yours."

"But Magnus is one of the greatest High Warlock ever, he risked his life to protect all of you." Said Clary as she look at Magnus." He don't deserve this at all."

"We know that, we told Magnus the exact same thing, but he said that he has to accept this, he may not like it but he has to do this." Said Alec as he look at Asmodeus." For the sake of the warlock's."

That got Asmodeus to get really upset that Magnus Bane has to step down as High Warlock of Brooklyn, he knows that his son does not deserve this pain, but he had to respect that for Magnus, and then Asmodeus started to speak.

"So, who's Magnus's new replacement?" Asked Asmodeus as he look at Alec and Clary.

"His name is Lorenzo Rey, he is the new High Warlock of Brooklyn." Said Alec as he explains." But apparently we don't like him."

"And why is that?" Asked Asmodeus as he look curious.

"Apparently he kinda brought up some very insensitive topics that we don't like to remember." Said Clary as she frowns a bit." I mean he's really rude, obnoxious, and so self-center, I swear if anybody wasn't looking, I would've just crush him so hard that his would crunch up into pieces, and I could make them into a cake!"

Once Clary have started to calm down a bit, she saw that Alec and Asmodeus were a bit shock at her reaction, and Alec was a bit scared at her reaction.

"What, a bit too harsh?" Asked Clary as she looks at Asmodeus and Alec.

"Yeah kinda, but you know, if Jace were here, he would've been impressed." Said Alec as he look at Clary.

"Well, I'm for one am so impressed, and I sometimes wonder why Magnus is not dating you." Said Asmodeus as he smiles at Clary.

"Hey, I'm dating your son you know." Said Alec as he glared at Asmodeus a bit.

"I know, I'm just only kidding." Said Asmodeus as he smiles.

"Even though Lorenzo is the new High Warlock of Brooklyn, he is a not a very good one, and we really don't like him, after the way he treated Magnus today." Said Clary as she frowns.

"What do you mean?" Asked Asmodeus as he began to grow concerned.

"Here's the reason why we are here to talk to you Asmodeus, you see last night, when we were at Lorenzo Rey's mansion for his party of being the new High Warlock of Brooklyn, everything started to shake like a earthquake." Said Alec as he explains.

"There was demonic energy going on during the shaking, all the warlock's couldn't be able to control their magic, but they are all alright." Said Clary as she also explains.

"But today at the Institute, Lorenzo came by and he accused Magnus about the demonic energy, he believes that this magic is your work, and since Magnus is your son, Lorenzo thinks that Magnus is the one responsible, but it wasn't Magnus doing the demonic energy." Said Alec as he looks at Asmodeus.

When Alec have said that, it caused Asmodeus to get really angry that Lorenzo Rey is accusing Magnus for a demonic magic that Magnus has no idea what it was, and he grip at his cane really hard.

"If I were here at this city, I would punish that warlock for accusing my son." Said Asmodeus in a bit of anger which got Alec and Clary's attention.

"Asmodeus, we want to ask you something, but please try not to think we are accusing you for anything." Said Clary as she looks at Asmodeus.

"Asmodeus, are you the one causing the demonic energy?" Asked Alec as he look at Asmodeus.

"No I'm not, in order for me to do some demonic magic, I have to be at the city, but I'm at Edom." Said Asmodeus as he look at Alec and Clary.

"Well, we are really happy that it's not you, but apparently we still don't know who is behind the demonic energy." Said Clary as she look concerned.

"And who is behind it, Lorenzo is going to keep accusing Magnus, until we figure out who is behind this." Said Alec as he look worried." I want to protect Magnus, but with Lorenzo accusing him like this, I don't know how will we might find the demon who is behind the demonic energy."

"Well, I may be able to help you with that my two favorite shadowhunter's." Said Asmodeus as he smiles at Alec and Clary's.

Then Asmodeus started to raise his hand a bit and waves it around as magic appeared, then a small glass bottle with white sand appeared along with a paper with a spell written on it, and gives it to Alec and Clary.

"What is it?" Asked Alec as he look confused on what it is.

"It's a very special spell that only a few knew, this spell can be able to summon a Greater Demon from Edom to where you are." Said Asmodeus as he smiles.

"How does it work?" Asked Clary as she look at Asmodeus.

"It's simple, you pour the white sand from the bottle into the exact pentagram in the paper, then you both had to drop you blood on it, then you both say my name first and then the spell." Said Asmodeus as he explains." You can use it to bring me to New York City if you ever need me."

"Thank you Asmodeus, and at least we know that it wasn't you doing the demonic energy, we know you will never do anything to hurt your son." Said Clary as she smiles and takes the spell and bottle of white sand.

"Of course, I may be a Greater Demon from Edom, but I care for my son." Said Asmodeus as he smiles." Well, I should get going, I got an important schedule going on."

"And by important schedule, you mean torturing Valentine's soul?" Asked Alec as he look at Asmodeus.

"That's right." Said Asmodeus as he smiles.

That got Alec and Clary to smile at Asmodeus for that, then a bit of wind started to blow through as Asmodeus closed his eyes, then a bit of magic started to surround him, and Vera appeared after the magic faded away.

"Thank you for your time." Said Alec as he look at Vera and put out a few extra gold coins." For your troubles."

"Thank you my dears." Said Vera I as she look at Alec and Clary.

Then Alec and Clary have both started to leave the store and started to go back to the New York Institute, as they both kept on walking back, they both started to realize that Asmodeus isn't the one who is making the demonic energy, but they both wanted to know is who is the one making them, and little did they know, is that it is someone who is much more powerful and dangerous than Asmodeus.
