That night at the Church of Talto, Lilith was that in the room where Jonathan's tomb is, all her disciples are forming a circle around her and Jonathan's tomb, and Lilith was brushing her hand through her sons tomb, and she started to speak.

Lilith is now wearing a silver dress that goes to her knees, has a golden cuff bracelet on her left wrist, has a silver ring on her right hand, and has black heels on.

"Soon my beloved son, we will be reunited again, and you will be in my arms again." Said Lilith as she looks at her sons tomb." And we will have our revenge on the people who killed you."

Then Lilith started to hear the bell from the elevator and saw that the doors open, and the a demonic creature started to come in the room. The demonic creature is like a human hybrid, has a dark owl mask over its face, has a black shirt on, a black trench coat on, black pants on, and black leather boots.

The demonic creature is known as the Owl, a very powerful demonic servant that Lilith have possessed.

"There you are, my Owl." Said Lilith as she looks at the Owl.

Then the owl started to brush his coat over the other side and kneel down for Lilith as he bows  his head down, then as the Owl lifts his head, his mask started to shift into the person who is possessed, and the person is none other than Jace.

Lilith smile evilly when she is looking at Jace being possessed in her spell. You see, months ago after when Valentine is killed, and when Jonathan called out to Lilith before he died, Lilith place Jace under her control with a special demonic magic. Whenever Jace goes to sleep he keeps having nightmare of killing the people he loves the most.

But while he is a sleep, his body goes under control of the Owl, whenever he goes to sleep, but what Lilith didn't know was that Clary was able to snap Jace out of the control because of his love for her.

Then Lilith have summon two disciples to come to both side of Jonathan's tomb, then Lilith use her nails to cut a bit of their necks, and then their blood started to pour onto the tomb, and Lilith smiles evilly.

"Yes, my loyal disciples, let your demonic life-blood flow into this sacred tomb so it may nourish my precious boy and prepare him for his rebirth." Said Lilith as she looks at her disciples and then looks at Jace." You my Owl, come with me, I want to speak to you in my apartment, now."

Then Lilith use her magic to portal herself to her loft, then Jace started to go to the elevator to get to Lilith's loft. Then a few moments later, Jace have arrived at Lilith's apartment, the apartment is fancy with all unique and fancy furniture, and very unique china sets.

Then Jace have enter the dining room that has a very long table fit for ten people to sit, with fancy plates, silver wares, and a beautiful vase with flowers. Jace then saw Lilith looking outside the balcony that has the view of the city, and stand in the middle of the dining room with his hands at his back.

"For such an ugly and despicable species, they do make beautiful things." Said Lilith as looks at Jace." Where is the girl?"

"Right as I finished, the Shadowhunters they fought me off." Said Jace as he explains." Took her with them."

Then when Jace have finished explaining what happen, it have made Lilith so angry, that her magic have started to make the flowers from the vase go from white and alive, to black and dead, and the Lilith started to go to Jace with an angry look on her face.

"How could you let that happen?" Asked Lilith in anger.

"I was overpowered." Said Jace as he looks at Lilith.

Then when Jace have said that, Lilith have started to slap Jace across the face hard, which made Jace grunt a bit, but doesn't show any pain, and then Lilith look at him with anger in her eyes.

"If they identify her possession, they will be able to track me." Said Lilith in anger." They will try and stop Jonathan's resurrection before it even begins."

"I will not let that happen." Said Jace as he look at Lilith.

"No, you won't." Said Lilith as she look at Jace." Nothing will stop me from bringing my son back."

Then Lilith have started to walk away from Jace, as he still stay at his place with his hands behind him and facing front of the room, Lilith started to brush her fingers over the chairs, and started to feel like she was about to cry.

"For thousands of years, I was unable to bear a child but then Valentine came to me and he asked for my blood for his unborn son." Said Lilith as she looks at Jace." But I knew that my boy would be far too powerful for a mere Shadowhunter to raise."

Then Lilith started look at the vase that has the dead flowers that wilted from Lilith's magic, then she started to pick up one of the dead flowers, and held it close to where her heart is, and started to have a bit of tears in her eyes.

"So he eventually sent him to me and I loved him with all my heart." Said Lilith as she look at Jace with tears in her eyes." And I never knew if he loved me back, until you killed him and he called for me with his final breath."

Then as Lilith looks at Jace, who is still facing front of the room not looking as terrified he is since he is under Lilith's possession, Lilith have started to throw the flower down at the floor, and started to walk up to Jace with an angry look on her face.

"You will bring me 33 disciples so that my son can be reborn can, and then I will destroy you like you destroyed him." Said Lilith as she ran her nails to Jace's face but then calms down." But first take care of the girl, before it's too late."

Then as Jace bow his head down to Lilith, he have started to leave the apartment to take of the girl he has possessed with demonic energy, and then Lilith started to go to the balcony and look outside of the city, while she has a bit of tears in her eyes.

Meanwhile back at the Institute, it was now morning and everyone is awake doing their jobs, then Jace have enter the Institute and started to walk to the cells where the girl he has possessed is being held, and as he was walking towards the elevator, Underhill saw Jace and started to speak.

"Hey, Jace, Alec promoted me to Head of Security." Said Underhill as he look at Jace." And if you have a minute, I'd love to pick your brain."

But apparently Jace was still under Lilith's possession and was focusing on the mission she sent him, that he doesn't even listen to what Underhill is saying, and Underhill look at Jace thinking that he must be busy with something important.

"I guess that's a no." Said Underhill as he leaves Jace.

"Jace!" Said Clary as she goes to Jace." Jace, what's going on?"

Then as Clary goes to Jace, she have started to place her hand on Jace's shoulder, which have made Jace snap out of his possession from Lilith's control, Lilith's magic may be strong to control him, but Jace's love for Clary is so much stronger than he could ever imagine.

"Jace?" Asked Clary as she looks at Jace." I've been texting you since Izzy and I got back from the club, where have you been?"

Then as Jace was snapped out of Lilith's control, he look around and saw that he was in the Institute, the one thing that Jace doesn't know is that, once he is not in Lilith's control of being the Owl and wakes, he doesn't what really happen, because Lilith doesn't want Jace to know about her plan, and then Jace looks at Clary with confusion.

"I have no idea." Said Jace as he look confused and concerned.

Then a few minutes later, Jace and Clary have both started to head to Jace's bedroom, then Clary sats Jace down so he can relaxed for a bit, then as Jace have started to explain to clary what he had remembered last night when he, Clary, and Izzy are on their mission.

"The last thing I remember, I was I was fighting Jonathan in the club, but but then he must've knocked me out, but it was. . ." Said Jace as he was about to continue to explain.

"Jace." Said Clary as she looks at Jace." Jonathan isn't the Owl, Izzy slashed him with her whip, and the electrum didn't burn him."

Then once clary have said that to Jace, she have started to remember the fight that she and Izzy has with the Owl outside of the night club they were at on their mission.

Flashback

Last night at the night club where Clary, Izzy, and Jace are at for their mission, they were all looking around for Jonathan, with many people dancing and having a good time, they separated to find him faster.

But after two hours of looking around the club, Clary and Izzy couldn't be able to find Jonathan anywhere, and they both started to get really tired about the mission, and they both met each at the exit of the club that goes to the ally. And they both realized that they couldn't be able to find the girl name Morgan who is the Owl's next victim.

"Did you see where Morgan went?" Asked Izzy as she looks at Clary.

"No." Said Clary as she looks defeated." I hope Jace has her."

Izzy was also look my defeat about this mission as well, and then as she turn in one direction from the exit to the ally, she saw a phone on the floor, and it got Izzy to grow suspicious about it.

"Isn't that Morgan's phone?" Asked Izzy as she look worried.

Then as Clary turn to see where Izzy was looking at and saw Morgan's phone as well, then they both started to go to where Morgan have drop her phone, then as Izzy picks the phone up, they both saw that the screen was broken meaning that she drop when someone grab her.

"Oh, no." Said Clary as she look really upset.

Then all of a sudden, Clary and Izzy have both started to run outside of the club to where the screaming is coming from, then as they both arrived at the ally, they saw the woman named Morgan trying to escape the Owl's strong grip as hard as she can.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" Shouted Morgan in horror.

But before Morgan could even get away from the Owl, the Owl uses a demonic energy that goes inside of Morgan while she screams in horror.

"Morgan!" Shouted Clary in horror.

Then after when the Owl has sent demonic energy inside of Morgan, she have fall to the ground unconscious, and then the Owl started to fight Izzy and Clary. As they both fight the Owl, Izzy use her whip and wraps around the Owl's wrist to see if it's really Jonathan.

But once her whip was wrap around the Owl's wrist, it didn't affect him like it had with Jonathan before, meaning that Jonathan isn't the Owl. Then as Clary kept on fighting the Owl, she started to notice that Morgan got up, started to act all crazy because of the demonic energy the Owl gave her, and was about to act Izzy.

"Izzy, watch out!" Shouted Clary as she warns Izzy.

Then Izzy turn around to see that Morgan was about to attack her, till Izzy was able to block her attack, then Morgan started to run away with some demonic speed, and then Izzy started to go after her, while Clary is fighting the Owl, he started to pin Clary to the wall.

"Is it you?" Asked Clary in anger." Coward! Show me your face, Jonathan!"

But apparently once Clary's looks at the Owl's eyes, she started to had a feeling that it wasn't the way that Jonathan looks at her, and realize that Jonathan isn't the Owl and is still dead. Then the Owl started to let go of Clary and started to go help Izzy with Morgan.

End of flashback

"The Owl is not Jonathan Jace, because Izzy says that once her whip was around the Owl, it didn't effect him." Said Clary as she looks at Jace." It's not Jonathan."

"But then the nightmares I've been having. . ." Said Jace as he look so confused.

"They're not signs." Said Clary as she touches Jace's hands." Jonathan is dead."

Then that's good.

Yeah, that's good, Jace, what is going on with you?" Asked Clary as she looks at Jace." Is it be abuse of what happen when you killed Jonathan at the bridge?"

"No." Said Jace as he look at Clary." I'm. . . I'm fine."

"No, you're not Jace!" Said Clary as she looks at Jace." You haven't been yourself lately ever the Owl investigation began, we need to tell the others."

"No." Said Jace as he look serious.

"But Jace, we need to get you some help." Said Clary as she looks at Jace.

"Clary. . . Listen, I'm just having a rough few days without any sleep lately." Said Jace as he look at Clary.

"But. . ." Said Clary as she was about to continue.

"Clary, I promise you, I'm fine." Said Jace as he look at Clary.

"Then why don't you remember where you've been all night?" Asked Clary as she looks at Jace.

"I'm just tired." Said Jace as he look honest." I haven't slept in days."

"Do you honestly believe that's all this is?" Asked Clary as she grows worried.

"I just need to get some rest." Said Jace as he look at Clary." And now that. . . Now that I know Jonathan is dead I finally can."

At first Clary thought that Jace is lying about his lack of sleep, but when Clary see's that Jace is telling her that he's okay, she lets it go for now, then she kissed him on the cheek, then she started to leave Jace's alone. Then when Clary left, Jace started to look at his family ring and took a deep breath.

"Clary is so sweet to me, but I still can't tell her about my nightmares lately, but I still don't understand what's wrong with me." Said Jace as he feels upset." I still want to tell Clary and everyone else for help but still I can't bring myself to talk about it, like there is someone is controlling me, but all I know is that I won't go speechless."

Then as soon as Jace have said that, all of a sudden, soft music have started to play and then Jace have started to sing as he walks around his room for a bit.

Then after Jace finish singing his song, he started to sit down at his bed and started to cry a bit, because he felt like something is wrong with him, but he doesn't know what it was, but little did he know is that Lilith will put him under her control and makes him do awful things.
