*Nikki Night

I walk downstairs after Riley had left me in his room, wandering around.

Kenny went to go find some of his friends from school, also werewolves.

Adrian's pack has already settled in.

I had also been taken to the room that would be mine. Romeo had already gaven P.J and I a tour of the humongous house.

After unpacking my things in my new room, I tried finding Romeo or anyone who I knew. Looks like luck was not on my side today.

After wondering the endless hallways, I decided to go into the room that was next to my given room. I smile when I see Rufus, Ronnie, and Raine playing video games.

Their heads turn when they hear the door open. "Nikki, hi." They say together.

"Hi, guys. Can you help me find your father. I'm kind of lost." I explain.

"I'll take you." Raine offers.

I just nod and follow him as he skips down the hallway.

After some twists and turns, Raine stops out a large fancy black door.

"Daddy is in there." Raine points to the door.

I smile, "Thanks, Raine."

Raine skips away back to his brothers, I'm guessing.

Without knocking, I walk in to see Romeo, P.J, and Niko. P.J and Niko are sitting on some couches while Romeo sits behing his large wooden desk in a office chair.

"Nikki, have a seat." Romeo gestures.

I nod and take a seat on the brown leather couch. We, then, wait.

After thirty minutes, Romeo, P.J, Niko, and I are still in Romeo's office waiting for Riley, Ryan, and Adrian to return.

Heavy footsteps are heard in the hallway.

"They're back." Romeo confirms.

Not even a minute later, the door slams open.

Standing there is Riley, his body tense.

His eyes scan the room before they settle on me. He, then, walks over to me and sits next to me on the couch.

Ryan takes a seat next to him. Adrian sits next to Niko.

"What happened?" Niko questions.

"We asked him, even threatened him, to leave. Instead of leaving, he calls his buddies. We took that as a sign of him refusing so we made sure that Erick and his buddies couldn't hurt Nikki or anyone ever again." Ryan explains.

"Then we set the house on fire." Riley adds.

I feel like a heavy weight has just been lifted from my shoulders. He's dead. Gone. Forever. I can be safe now. I can go out without having to look over my shoulder every two minutes. I didn't realize that I was smiling until I felt Adrian look at me.

"He's gone, Nikolai. I'm so sorry that this happen to you. I should have protected you better. I'm sorry I failed to do that." Adrian frowns.

"It's not your fault. It's his. Nobody else is to blame but Erick." I mutter.

"Adrian, how did Erick get Nikki?" Romeo wonders.

"It was the day you were born." Adrian says, staring at me. "The pack got attacked by Hunters. I was with your mother when she went into labor, but then my beta called me to tell me that we were losing a lot of pack member. Your mother told me to go. She said that she would wait for me. Niko had been taken to my brother's house so your mother stayed with the doctor." He shook his head as if to remember or forget. "After the hunters were taken care of, I rushed back to your mother. Only to find out that she had past away because she had lost too much blood after giving birth to you. I was devestated. I asked to see you so they led me to the room that you were being kept. They had you in a different room, away from the other babies, because the doctor informed me that when you came out of your mom, you were glowing. They said that a beautiful blue light surrounded you. You don't know how much I died inside, when I entered the room to find an empty crib and a broken window. I sent out search groups to look for you but your scent couldn't be found. I didn't even see you once but I knew that I would find you no matter what. I recognized you because you have my eyes but you look so much like your mother." Adrian finishes, staring intensively at me.

After he's done speaking, everyone in the room looks at me, waiting for my reaction.

I take in all of the new information. "I don't blame you for anything. I just wish that you would have found me earlier." A stray tear falls down my cheek.

"I do, too, Princess." Adrian walks to me and kneels in front of me, taking my hand. "Will you give me a chance at being your father?"

I don't even hesitate to answer, "I'd like that, Dad."
