Date

*Nikki Night

The date has been so amazing so far. I thought he would have choosen some fancy place, but I'm glad he didn't.

I feel like I can actually open up to him now. I don't have to be looking over my shoulder anymore.

I can actually say that I already love Tyson and Dyson. With children, I always instantly fall in love with them.

So here we are in Riley's car, driving to I don't know where.

"Where are we going?" I ask for the hundredth time since we've gotten in the car.

I'm not as shy and distant as I was when we first met. I guess I'm not scared anymore since I know that Erick can't hurt me anymore.

"We're here." Riley announces, parking the car.

I look at the sign and my face brightens, "Really?"

Riley nods, smiling.

"You brought us to Chuck E. Cheese's. I've always wanted to come here but I was never allowed. I remember seeing the commercials on T.V, but wait aren't the closed already?" My face drops.

"I asked my dad to pull some strings for our date and since my uncle owns the place, I was able to get the whole place to ourselves until 12:00 p.m. There is someone waiting for us inside; they will be making the food we want. We can even play in the arcade." Riley explains.

"You did all of this for me?"

"I would anything for you, Nikki. It may be too soon for this but I've loved you since the night you had dinner with my dad and my brothers. I learned more about you that night. And even though you looked beautiful, I didn't just fall in love with your beauty, I fell in love with you, Nikki. You don't have to return my feelings now, but I hope that in the future, you can fall in love with me, too."

Tears welled up in my eyes but I blinked them away. I leaned over and kiss his cheek. "Thank you. For everything you've done for me."

What Riley doesn't know is that my feelings for him grew a lot when he got rid of Erick for me. He has done so many things to make me feel safe that there's no way that I couldn't have feelings for him.

We stare at each other. He starts leaning in but he stops when we hear, "Mommy."

We look to the back seat. "Did you hear that?" Riley asks.

I nod, staring at the boys.

"Mommy." Dyson says, looking at me.

I stare at Riley with shock written all oven my face.

Riley's looking at me in awe.

"Mommy." Now Tyson says it.

I open my mouth to protest.

"Just let them. They're little boys and they've lost their parents. We can tell them when they're a little older."

I nod. "Okay, let's go eat, I'm hungry." I say, trying to shake off the uneasiness.

We enter Chuck E. Cheese's to find a boy, a little older than us, behind the counter.

"Hi, my name is Joey and I'll be your server and your cook." The blond haired, hazel eyes, boy says.

"What kind of pizza would you like?" Riley asks me.

"Pepperoni and mushrooms." I say instantly.

"Okay. Go sit down and I'll order for us."

I lead Tyson and Dyson by the hand to a booth. After I place them in two high chairs, I take out their bottle of milk. I shake it before handing it to them.

Riley joins us at the booth, "The pizzas will be ready in twenty minutes. Do you want to go play?" Riley holds up a bag of coins and smirks.

"Yeah. Come on, boys, let's watch Riley lose at Air Hockey." I say.

"As if. You may be my mate, but I'm not going easy on you, Nikki."

"You don't have to. I'll beat you either way." I smirk.

"I accept your challenge."

The twin's high chairs have wheels so we push them next to the Air Hockey table. We put them far enough for them not to get hit.

"It's on." I drop the puck and hit it.

It's been fifteen minutes and I'm beating Riley by a point. Twenty seconds left on the clock.

"Ready to lose, Preston?" I smirk.

"Shoot."

I shoot and I score with two second to spare. The buzzer sounds.

34 to 32.

"I won!" I cheer. I rush to the boys and high five them both.

"I let you win." Riley scoffs.

"That's what they all say." I laugh.

"Fine, you win, but I want a rematch after we eat." Riley smiles and we walk back to the table.

The pizzas come and we chat as we eat. I give Tyson and Dyson little pieces of pepperoni.

After we eat, Riley and I play Air Hockey again. I won, again. We, then, played Ski Ball. We also jammed out to Guitar Hero.

The only game Riley did beat me was Basketball, only because I'm short and I couldn't see over the fence.

We thank Joey as we leave Chuck E. Cheese's and head home.

We arrive home laughing and joking around that we don't notice two angry dads standing at the door until one of them speaks.

"It's past one in the morning." Romeo states.

We had left Chuck E. Cheese's at midnight but had stopped to get ice cream. I guess, we lost track of time.

We flinch at his voice.

"Who are they?" Dad asks.

They being the two little boys that are asleep in our arms. Tyson and Dyson.

Well, Shït. Busted!
