Ablah peeked at Latif through the sides of her eyes for the umpteenth time since she came to work today,he was acting weird,it looks like something is bothering him..

He is already done with all his meetings,it is even nearly time for them to call it a day..

Ablah stood up as she silently walked to his office saying her salam which he never answers..

"Sir are you okay?":She asked looking at the file in his hand..

"Get out":he shouted pointing at the door..

Ablah flinched as she took a step back,she looked at him as she widened her eyes,he was sweating..

"Sir am sorry but am not going out":She said trying to be stern but she failed..

"You can trust me":She said calmly..

"Can we step out for a while you need some fresh air and someone to talk to":She said hoping that he will understand what she mean..

"No get out":he said again..

Ablah stood there not knowing what to do..

"Okay say this":she said starting..

He looked at her and she smiled..

"Ash":she started..

Ablah smiled at herself doing a little dance in her mind..

"Can we step out?":She asked smiling..

He stood up and followed her,they kept on walking till they reach a beach,few people were there and they found a place and sat down on the sand..

"Tell me":She said looking at the sea..

"I can still remember the way blood was all over him and he was telling me to fulfill all our dreams":he said looking at the sea..

"I can still hear the echo of his voice when he said Mahad and Fawza love you":he said smiling sadly..

Ablah looked at him,he looked so miserable,so hopeless,he was like water in a cup,ready to be kicked and them it will spill..

She looked at him knowing that he has many memories in his heart which is ruining him..

"I thought that after becoming successful I will ne at ease but still":he said taking a deep breath..

"Am still stucked to the past,having all those dreams of my past worst memories is making me feel like I shouldn't sleep ever":he said..

"And when I close my eyes and see my Abba's proud smile,I feel like I have gone wrong somewhere":he said..

"Something is missing":he said touching his heart..

"It hurts in here":he said still touching his heart..

"Your Abba is in a better place Insha Allah,both of them":Ablah said smiling..

She looked at him as he nods his head in agreement..

"Listen to this":she said handing him an earpiece and her phone..

He collected and put stuff it in his ears as he closed his eyes..

"This was my best qira'a":he said smiling..

"Saad Al-Ghamdi will forever by my favorite":Ablah said smiling..

"What is your favorite surah":he asked smiling..

Ablah mentally patted herself at her back at the achievement,he is talking about islam with her..

"Suratul Mulk":she said smiling..

They kept on asking each other questions..

"Why did you stop believing?":She asked him the question that bore into her mind for days..

"Because God snatched everything away from me":he said taking a handfull of sand as he free it slowly..

"God test us,that was your test":Ablah said smiling..

"Allah is the most forgiving,he will forgive you,it is not too late":she said smiling..

"Better late than never"

"Of course I will take you to Dada's house":Ablah said to Fahim who have been following her like a tail..

He is dada's favorite,he will get what he wants when dada is around..

"Come and help me with my assignment":He said dragging her..

She followed him smiling at his childish acts..

"Do you have friends":Ablah asked him as she put a small cookie into her mouth..

"Of course I have tons of them":he said drinking his milk..

"But you never talk about them":Ablah said opening a chocolate and handing it to him..

"I have more important things to do":he said like a matured person..

"Fahim":Ablah said shocked..

"You cannot be the one saying that":she said pointing a finger at him..

"Why?:He asked holding his waist like a lady..

They burst into a series of laughter as they rolled from the bed to the ground..

They are used to it..

"Let's be serious and finish those assignments,I won't like it when your teacher will say "Fahim has changed":Ablah said laughing at the way Fahim grabbed his book..

They finished the assignments and she tuck him to sleep..

She stood up and made her way to her room to sleep..

Her phone beeped and she check..

Latif:Thank you..

Ablah:Did you eat?

Latif:Um..

Ablah:What is um?

Latif:What do you want in return?

Latif:No one does anything for free now adays..

Ablah:Quit drinking alcohol..

Ablah didn't mind checking her phone which beeped again,she turned to the right side and said her sleeping du'as..

"I wish he listens to me"
