Latif walked inside the house only to hear their neighbor whom he lives inside their house discussing..

"We were managing before when it was only the two of us":Maryam stated..

"You know Mahad uncle has done alot for us,all we can do now is help Latif before he finds a job,he is looking for a job":Fahad said silently..

"Am not comfortable with him staying here":Maryam said sitting down on the mat...

"He is a non mehram, I have to roam about with a hijab inside my husband's house"

"Just be patient Maryam":Fahad said with a frown..

"We don't even have what to eat today":She whined..

"Allah will help us":Fahad stated..

"Just leave me alone":she said storming to her room..

"Now don't let me loose my patience":he said following her and Latif kept on hearing their voices becoming higher..

All because of him..

He turned his legs and went out as he kept on walking till he reached the lake,he stood there throwing stones inside the water as tears cascaded his view..

He have been creating problems for people..

He had to stay with Fahad and Maryam because he have nowhere to go to,his house have been burnt and needed repair or should he say reconstruction and he needed a huge amount of money for that.

He tried standing up but then he lost his balance and fell inside the lake..

"Help me":He said as he drowned inside..

"I need help":he said again..

"Latif":He heard Madyan's voice..

"Madyan help me am drowning inside the lake":Latif said as sweat dripped from his forehead..

"It was just a dream Latif,you are on your bed":Umair reassured..

"And we are here for you":he said handing him his pills and a glass of water..

They sat down comforting him till he fell asleep again..

He walked to the office with his frown today also,to day is the interview and his PA will take care of it so he just have to relax and wait for his secretary..

"Latif come and see what is happening outside":Umair said drawing Latif out of his reverie..

He followed him..

What he saw shook him to the core,he bursted out in a series of laughter..

Madyan was standing with his face mashed with cake icing,he looked at the person that Madyan was looking at and he saw Ablah's best friend Jannah..

"How could you?":Madyan started..

"Are you out of your senses?"

"You crazy lady"

"Am in my right senses":she stated looking at him confidently..

"How dare try to hold my hands?"

"Haven't you been taught that you cannot touch a lady's hands because it is haram in islam"

"Am not a muslim":He spatted..

"I know how to deal with guys like you":she said eyeing him..

"Guys like me as in":he said raising an eyebrow..

"Rich jerks":she replied..

"You think you can flirt with every lady you see well for your information am not among those kind of girls":she said turning her head to the other side dramatically..

"Jannah Abdullah is a fierce lady which all those stupid guys like you cannot touch":she said wiggling her eyebrows..

They are both dramatic..

"Um what are you doing here?":I decided to ask..

"Ohh hey there gentle man":she said smiling..

"Well am here with Ablah,she is here for the interview":She said smiling..

My heart skipped a beat at the mention of her name..

Wait..

Why is my heart beating fast..

What is wrong with me?:I mentally asked myself..

"Am talking to you":I heard Jannah's voice..

"Sorry what did you say": I asked..

"What are you doing here?":she asked and I rolled my eyes..

Who doesn't know that am the owner of this company?

"He is the Owner":Madyan replied..

"What!!,the owner is him":she said to confirm..

"Yes":he replied..

Her phone rang and she excused herself..

I went back to my office as I sat down..

Having Ablah as a secretary will be great,she is modest and also composed..

"Hello":I said immediately after my PA picked the call..

"Yes sir":he said..

"Are you done with the interview":I asked and he said yes..

"Who got the job?":I asked..

"Raudah Siddique":He replied..

"I want you to give the job to a lady named Ablah":I said hanging up the call before he could reply..

"Sir good day":My PA Yusuf greeted and I nod my head..

"Your new secretary is here to sign the contract":he said smiling and then he head out..

She came in smiling..

"As Salamu'alaikum":she said making me roll my eyes..

"Sit down Ms Ablah": I said and she raised her head..

She looked at me shocked then look down..

"You are the C E O?":she asked..

"Yes I am":In replied handing her the contract file..

"You should fill this now": I said handing it to her trying to be professional..

But right inside I was beyond happy..

Happy..

Such a foreign word to me since from the last 11 years..

"Yes sir":she said collecting the file smiling a bit..

"Why did you need a job when your dad is rich?":I asked..

"I want to help people and I need my own money to do that":she replied filling the file..

"Your nature makes me remember a girl that helped me years ago,that time I was so hungry and the girl helped me with food, I helped her with her qur'anic memorization and when her parents came back they gave me a job": I didn't know why I was telling but I just thought I needed to share it with her..

The room went silent for some minutes..

"You said you will come back and you didn't":I heard her voice..

"Latif":she said crying and smiling..

Is she by any chance that girl?

"I am that girl":she said clearing my doubt smiling..

"I wish I didn't tell her because that got us into another chapter which will lead to heartache"
