Okay, so this one isn't that good, I was super rushed with this one! Literally, the reason I made what happens to Zane happen was because the same thing happened to me except it was a car door and I did it myself :|

and I didn't really know how he could troll his trolling partner so I guess this happened haha!

Sleep Deprived:

Nya just had the unfortunate luck of slipping up when he was very sleep deprived.

It almost pained Zane to say that he had to get revenge on his partner in crime. Almost. But, he was perterved, she was happy, and it was his duty as the Nindroid who kept everyone in check of the team to keep the balance in that way.

Maybe he wouldn't have to take such drastic measures if he hadn't been in a bad mood when the crime had been committed. Maybe he would have just let it go if he had been able to recharge the night before.

See, he doesn't need to sleep. He really doesn't. Sometimes he'll do it because he's bored, maybe he just doesn't want to talk to anyone, he'll sleep when he's sad sometimes as well. But, above all, he sleeps because it helps him recharge.

He needs a good recharge at least once every seven weeks, preferably once every six weeks, but he doesn't always have the time to recharge and he's fine on every seven weeks.

Sleep, for him, is different then recharge. For him to recharge he needs a good twelve hours undisturbed for him to shut down and rejuvenate. Sleep is just him closing his eyes and welcoming nothing.

Zane, being the responsible person he is, makes it a goal to recharge every Wednesday every three weeks unless some villain unexpectedly appears or they're in the middle of a big battle.

Last night was Wednesday, and one he was planning on recharging on. Unfortunately for him, some rouge snakes decided to attack in the middle of the night while he was recharging.

He was shaken awake by Jay three hours into his recharging, who told him what was going on. He reluctantly followed his teammates to the battle, which lasted an hour.

It was basically just a game of chase. There were three snakes that just ran around town, forcing the five ninja and samurai to chase them.

So, naturally, Zane was angry and tired once it was all over.

And then Nya made the mistake.

She seemed to have forgotten Zane was behind her as she walked into the Bounty after the battle. Zane had shut his eyes for a moment and this hand was resting on the doorframe, and when Nya had slammed the door shut right onto his hand.

It barely hurt. But he was so tired and so done with everything that he was royally pissed.

Nya immediately turned around upon hearing the slight squishing noise. She gasped when she saw what she did, grabbed his arm, and frantically led him to the infirmary. She wordlessly sat him down and began to rebend his fingers, as they had been bent in the opposite direction after being slammed in a door.

Zane glared at her a bit as she did so. He knew she meant no harm, but he just couldn't believe that she had forgotten he was behind her!

Once his fingers were back into place, she screwed tightened some screw in his fingers, just to make sure everything was okay. She then wiped her brow nervously then stepped back, smiling anxiously at the Nindroid. "Is-is- did I fix it?"

Zane looked down at his hand then looked back up at her. "It's fine," he said curtly.

Nya's gaze dropped a bit. "I am so sorry, Zane, really."

He just nodded, despite knowing she wasn't really looking at him. He didn't know why this was as hard as it was. They were both able to communicate really well, but for some odd reason, neither of them knew what to say.

"It is... okay..." Zane sighed finally, patting Nya on the back before turning and walking away. It's a shame, he thought as he started back towards his room. I never wanted to have to troll my trolling partner, but what kind of troll would I be if I didn't?

Zane decided to go relatively easy on Nya.

She was obviously very distressed about what had happened, and Zane felt a bit bad to have to troll her.

He was just really tired.

He needed to think of the perfect prank. Something good enough so he won't have to think back to this moment and regret his prank, but it couldn't be too good or else he'd feel bad. He figured if he did something insignificant and kind of funny, Nya might laugh a bit and then they would hug it out and everything would be fine and they could continue trolling the team together.

And, of course that's how it would go, because Zane was an expert. He knew everything.

So he looked some stuff up online and found some relatively light hearted pranks that he could try out.

He knew how much Nya hated losing, and she would most definitely lose this.

He actually felt rather excited for this. Some of these were quite humorous.

He gathered the team together in their living room after dinner that night. "I have a few games I would like to try tonight," he announced once his five teammates were all sitting down. "The first one is called the Hat Game."

Kai quirked an eyebrow. "Okaaaay. How do you play?"

"That's what you have to figure out," Zane smiled mischievously. He glanced at Nya and saw her eyes widen in surprise. She knew she was about to be trolled. They made eye contact for a brief moment. He wiggled his eyebrows as if to say get ready to lose.

She replied by winking. Give me all you've got, buddy.

Zane had to admit, Nya's response made him mentally sigh. Okay, so she wasn't too upset that he was trolling her.

"Okay, so if I have the hat," he walked over to Nya and patted her head, "then I give Nya the hat... but Nya hands the hat to Jay, who has the hat?"

"Jay," Kai stated simply, pretending to brush something off of his shoulder.

Zane shook his head. "Nope."

Kai's head snapped up to look at the Nindroid. "What?"

"Jay does not have the hat," Zane said, giving Nya a give me the best you've got look. Nya tapped her chin inquisitively.

"Okay, well if I don't have the hat, then does Nya have the hat?" Jay asked, confusion in his voice.

Zane giggled and replied with, "Nope."

"Okay, well you had it first, do you have it?" Cole suggested. Zane just shook his head. "Then Jay has to have it, right?"

"Kai has the hat!" Zane finally told them.

"Haha! I stole your hat, Jay!" Kai teased, pumping his fist in the air.

"Ugh, but how did Kai steal my hat?" Jay whined. "Nya gave it to me! It was special!"

"Ha! Suck it, Jay!"

"Now," Zane interrupted. "If Cole has the hat, then he gives it to Lloyd, who gives it to Nya, who gives it to Kai, who has the hat?" Kai looked like he was about to say something so he interrupted and said, "Think carefully!"

"Easy! I still have the hat!" Kai proclaimed.

"Nope."

"WHAT!"

"You do not have the hat anymore."

"Hmm," Nya finally spoke up. "Does Lloyd have the hat?" Zane raised an eyebrow at her. "Well, I was thinking maybe because Jay was sitting to the right of Kai-"

"Nope, not Lloyd," Zane informed her.

"Well, maybe I have it?" Cole asked, once again trying the person who had it first theory.

"Wait but that can't be right, Nya has it, right?" Lloyd asked.

"I have the hat!" Zane announced. He glanced at Nya who looked kind of confused. "Okay, now if I have the hat, but a bird steals it and drops it off at Darreth's dojo and Darreth picks it up, looks at it, thinks it's hideous and throws it away but then Misako sees that happening and reaches it before it hits the trash can and gives it to Sensei Wu as a present, who has the hat?"

"I think-" Nya started, but was interrupted as both Jay and Kai yelled, "Wu!" at the same time. Nya rolled her eyes, intelligent enough to know it couldn't be Wu.

"Nope!"

"Anyways, does Misako still have it?" Nya questioned. "You said she gives it to Wu as a present but maybe she hadn't actually given it to him yet-"

Zane shook his head.

"Maybe the bird took it again," Cole stated. "Or maybe it's still in the trash because Misako grabbed the wrong thing?" Zane gave him a quizzical look. "Well, if Darreth thought the hat was ugly maybe it really was so ugly it looked like trash."

"I agree with Cole," Lloyd nodded.

"Nya has the hat," Zane answered them.

"But Nya wasn't even in the story!" protested Jay. "It couldn't have been her!"

"Well, I am sorry to inform you, Jay, that Nya does in fact have the hat."

"Okay fine, gimme another one, I'll get it this time!"

"If Nya buys Jay the hat as a gift but Jay doesn't like it and secretly sells it to Pixal who gives it to Cyrus Borg, but the hat falls off of him and Lloyd finds it, who has the hat?"

"I do!" Lloyd exclaimed excitedly, happy that the hat has fallen into his hands.

"Why would you sell the hat I gave you," Nya teased Jay.

"I would never!" Jay giggled, kissing her cheek.

"Ew!" Kai cried.

"Lloyd is correct, he has the hat!"

"WHAT?!" Nya, Kai, Jay, and Cole all screeched while Lloyd pumped his fist in the air and yelled, "YES!"

"But, how do you have the hat?" Zane added.

Lloyd stared at him dumbfoundedly. "Umm, because I found it when it fell?"

"Incorrect. Next scenario. I throw the hat out the window and it flies away until it falls into the Mailman's bag. The Mailman thinks it goes along with the package Jay sent to his parents so he gives it to Mr. and Mrs. Walker. They place the hat on a robot but it gets destroyed by a wrecking ball. Who has the hat?"

"You know, I would say it was destroyed, but that seems like the easy answer. I like to think the Mailman secretly kept it," Cole said casually.

"You know, I'm a good son," remarked Jay. "I bet my parents loved the package."

"It definitely got destroyed," Kai told everyone.

"Nah, I bet Mr. and Mrs. Walker have it," Lloyd informed the group.

"You're all wrong," Zane said smugly. "Cole has the hat."

"THIS DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!" Nya finally cried out. All heads turned to her. "Cole wasn't even in this situation, how could he possibly have the hat?"

Zane smirked. "So, what you're saying is, you don't get it! You don't understand!" Nya playfully glared at him. "What you're saying is I win and you lose?"

The ninja gasped. Nya losing? Nya never loses!

Nya grabbed her hair in frustration and cried, "YES! You win, Zane, now tell me how Cole has the hat and we can troll everyone together!"

Zane smiled happily. "That sounds nice." He whispered the trick in Nya's ear and she smiled, visibly relaxing. "Would you like a turn, partner?"

"I most definitely would, partner!" she replied. "Okay, so if Pythor has the hat and then he throws it at Kai because he's a hotheaded idiot-"

Zane grinned from ear to ear as Nya continued her elaborate scenario of the Hat Game. He sighed, sat down in his chair, leaned back, and promptly fell asleep, ready to finally recharge.

If anyone was wondering, the solution to the game is whoever speaks first has the hat haha! My band friends and I played it on the band bus last year lol!

Like I said above, I couldn't make Zane troll Nya for awhile, hence the ending!
