Taehyung never really was the type of guy who enjoyed taking time off of work. Work, work work; That's all he is ever about. Friday nights, Saturdays, Sundays, week days— he's always working. Taehyung works for a big photography and modeling company as one of the head photographers. He's always either taking photos of new models or editing, or getting his assistant to edit for him when he's suddenly too busy to do it on his own.
Because he is always working, he doesn't own much of his personality like he used to when he was a kid or somewhat still a teenager. After high school was when he was hired into the company, because Mr. Jeon had seen his photography file that he sent to the company. Taehyung had always wanted to be a photographer. Always wanted to work there.
And he's not going to lose that.
He worked hard, practicing taking photos on small things like trees and sunsets and random shadows that he'd find on his way home from working at the flower shop he used to work at.
Taehyung makes good money— even better than he used to, now that he's a head photographer instead of a mere standby. He remembers where he comes from and he's happy with the work that he does now.
He just never takes a break.
He's only taken one vacation day off for the years that he has been working at J&J's Photography and Modeling, and it wasn't even a real vacation day. He only took that day off because his mom basically begged him to, considering she had barely seen him for a whole four years due to being stuck on his job like it meant everything to him— it does.
Working with big models and photographers was like a dream to him, though, and she knew that. She had always believed his art was beautiful, and so had all of his friends that he barely even keeps in touch with anymore.
Jimin is probably the only person he really keeps in touch with. Merely because Jimin lives with him— actually forced himself into his home— and Jimin keeps in touch with Taehyung sometimes, if you catch the drift.
Jimin has pretty much just made himself a little home in Taehyung's (too big) apartment. He doesn't mind too much, since they sort of have a friends with benefits thing going on and it helps him release stress sometimes, even if Jimin can be stressful enough on his own.
Like: the way Jimin sometimes eats Taehyung's food when he specifically tells him not to, or the way he sometimes breaks things and then buys something completely new and different to replace it instead of just buying the thing that he broke and replacing it instead. And sometimes Jimin will bring home some random person— sometimes Taehyung will invite his assistant over to work on something and he walks in on Jimin moaning loudly, and Taehyung just looks at his assistant, Seojun, and he just quietly apologizes to him and then chases Jimin into his room later that night.
Yeah, it has its pros and cons, though.
Taehyung just shrugs it aside. He is barely even home anyways. Usually, after work, he goes out and does his own photography instead of just photographing models. It feels nice and like home when he is all alone taking photos and saving memories besides taking photos of other people for a completely different reason.
The reason he first got into photography was to reminisce about his own personal memories. He loved capturing moments and looking back on them when he wanted to. He still— even though he's always busy— does that.
Capturing memories is important to him.
He held up his probably too expensive camera to his face and looked out from his balcony. Today was stressful to him, even though pretty much almost every day is. Today was different, though. Taehyung actually felt like he needed a vacation for once— instead of a "quick suck" from Jimin, who would just complain after that he needed attention "just as much" or whatever, but Taehyung was always too tired. He would help Jimin sometimes, but he knew that Jimin always had someone to call if he didn't completely help him out.
"Here's dinner."
Taehyung suddenly had an arm in front of him, revealing a white plastic bag. He furrowed his eyebrows and sat his camera to the side.
"You ordered food again?" He asked Jimin, who was now sitting next to him. Jimin just raised an eyebrow at him in return.
"Do I need to take you back to high school?" Jimin asked, clearly offended now. "I used to bring you fresh food all the time for breakfast and sometimes lunch. Be grateful that I even ordered your stingy ass any food—"
"Okay, damn." Taehyung just looked away from him and started digging in his food.
Jimin had gotten him his favorite takeout, but he didn't even think so far as to say a simple thanks in return. Taehyung can be an asshole, even if Jimin has been his friend since high school and has been so kind to him since.
"Asshole." Jimin pouted.
Sometimes kind. Jimin is sometimes kind.
Their friendship is sort of weird, truthfully. They fight, bicker, fuck, act stupid— but only depending on their mood. Taehyung and Jimin used to be like class clowns in school. They would always be cheerful and proud of their class. Now they're just.. too mature. Too grown. Something happened; They changed. Yeah, they changed. Both of them. Sure.
"Ah, look!" Jimin's whole attitude changed from two seconds ago as he held up a piece of paper. He smiled as he read it. "A trip to America for a winter vacation." He wiggled his eyebrows at Taehyung, clearly joking around.
"What about it?" Taehyung asked with a mouthful of ramen. Jimin shrugged.
"Enter for a chance to win." He read off of the paper. "Three lucky winners get a chance to stay at Pegasus— what kind of a name is that?— Pegasus Winter Lodge. There are three bedrooms, three bathrooms and plenty of space and fun activities inside the lodge!
and there's a side note— a review from someone's past stay." Jimin squinted at the note. "This place is so great! I barely even noticed the other two staying there because this place is so big! Comfortable! Fun games and even a jacuzzi!! Great stay! 10/10!
Oh my God, TaeTae. You should enter!"
Taehyung glanced up at Jimin and scoffed.
"For why, exactly?" He asked.
Jimin just flipped the paper and kept reading. "It's winter. A winter lodge with a bunch of activities— ooh, and a bar? It'll be pretty for photos, and you know you need a vacation."
Taehyung shrugged. "Kay. Sign me up." He wasn't really even thinking that Jimin would, but then he got his phone out and started typing in the URL on the front page. "Jimin, it's not like I'll win." He blinked at him.
"You don't know that."
He started entering Taehyung's information in on the site. Taehyung just rolled his eyes.
As much fun as a bar, jacuzzi, pretty mountains covered with snow and snowy trees and pretty views sounds to Taehyung, it's not like he could or actually would be able to go.
He has to focus on work.
"I know what you're thinking." Jimin said, still looking at his phone. "You need a vacation, whether it's this stupid lodge or not. I can't keep sucking your pitiful dick when you get stressed, you know." He chuckled, Tae didn't.
"You're the one who offers to do that." He puts a mouthful of ramen in his mouth again.
Jimin scoffed. "Because you're miserable." He said. "What happened to fun, exciting TaeTae?"
Taehyung frowned. He can still be fun and exciting. He isn't boring or anything, right? Just because he's mature and works his ass off doesn't mean he's any less of himself..
"I'm still me." He tried.
Jimin chuckled. "Keep telling yourself that." He stood up. "Maybe it'll come true."
When Jimin left the balcony, Taehyung just sat and stared at his food. He sometimes chooses to ignore Jimin and the shit he says, but maybe he was actually right this time.
Is Taehyung not Taehyung anymore?
Who is Kim Taehyung?
Where did Kim Taehyung go?

Min Yoongi is a music journalist.
He's probably one of the softest people you could ever meet. Yoongi is an amazing listener, which is really a key part of how he became a journalist in the first place, but then he also really liked music and listening to it and even sometimes giving his own input for his friend, Kim Namjoom— who he technically works with or works for.
It's hard to explain.
Yoongi has a side interest in making music. He's written about many different genres and even reviewing albums and artist's music on his own YouTube channel, which actually has about three million subscribers— but that is not what he's there to do. He's not there to be a YouTuber. He's there for journalism. He's there to critic and to review. Nothing more.
He got noticed by BigHit after a viral reviewing of one of BigHit's biggest stars— Kim Namjoon. Yoongi has always loved rap, but he absolutely dives deep into Namjoon's music.
He went viral after Namjoon shared his video on his Twitter account and thanked him.
Yoongi actually was very happy after that, even though he has interacted with artists before. There's nothing better than someone you admire actually noticing you, really. Yoongi isn't like a crazy fan or anything— sort of. He isn't, he swears. But when he got a letter in the mail from BigHit Entertainment, he almost choked, but he ended up living.
He also ended up getting a job as Kim Namjoon's and BigHit's personal music journalist. That's also how Yoongi ended up talking to Namjoon and teaching him some stuff that he knows. Him and Namjoon actually became pretty good friends, if you ask him.
Namjoon had even started texting Yoongi, asking something about his own music.
Yoongi was no musical genius or anything, but Namjoon sure did make him feel that way— even if Yoongi is merely a journalist.
The only other friend that Yoongi really made at BigHit was Jung Hoseok, and it was because he had suddenly walked into Namjoon's studio and said "Hey! Min Yoongi! You should write a review on how awesome I am at being Namjoon's main backup dancer!" and Namjoon just wrapped an arm around Hoseok and said "It's true. He has no bones."
The duo was actually apparently the funniest guys that Yoongi had ever met, because he would always find himself laughing as Hoseok threw himself over Yoongi's or Namjoon's lap, also laughing his ass off at whatever it was.
They were always laughing.
Yoongi felt more like an observer more than anything— besides maybe a friend to Namjoon. He would sometimes just sit and watch, sometimes writing down or merely listening.
He tries not to bother Namjoon, but he honestly doesn't feel like a bother to him.
That's how Namjoon and Hoseok became his friends. His only other friend was Kim Seokjin, but he became CEO of a whole damn modeling and photography company, and Yoongi truly felt like he was so small next to Seokjin.
He still gets random texts from Jin sometimes. Most of the time, they're dad jokes, which Yoongi takes a minute to read and understand before he just chuckles.
"Always a jokester." Yoongi would say.
Even now, he's sat in a chair at BigHit's building, scrolling through his phone and looking at Jin's Twitter, seeing how he captions most of his tweets with a joke. Even when he looks at a picture of Jin modeling like the most professional man ever, he reads:
"My handsomeness is staining my life."
Yoongi shakes his head at the notification as he presses the little heart button to like it. He sees another picture, one that's not Jin. He recognizes it at Jeon Jungkook— the cofounder of J&J Photography and Modeling.
"He thinks he's cool." is the caption. It's a photo of Jungkook with a camera up to his face, clearly taking a photo of Seokjin.
"Are they a couple?"
Yoongi jumps at the sudden voice of Hoseok, quickly pressing the power button on his phone and putting it into his pocket.
"I- I don't know." He blinked up at Hoseok, not noticing that he had been there.
Hoseok just chuckled. "Sorry. Didn't mean to snoop. They both look really handsome, though." He sat down a white plastic bag with two food boxes inside of it. "Here's our food." He wiggled his eyebrows. Right. Food.
Yoongi reached for his food as Hoseok sat next to him and furrowed his eyebrows.
"Ooh!" His eyebrows raises up. "Look!" He showed Yoongi a piece of paper. "I can't read english- oh wait, there's korean. Nevermind." He squinted at the words on the paper.
Yoongi chuckled softly at him.
"A winter vacation?" Hoseok mumbled. Yoongi glanced over at the paper, peeling his eyes away from the tasty food.
"That sounds fun." He stated.
Hoseok nodded. "Hell yeah, it does." He said. "There's a bar!" He jumped. "But I can't enter to win the vacation, though. I have a schedule for that week." He looked over at Yoongi and pointed at the date. "You won't, though. Look, it's almost perfect. You should enter."
Yoongi hummed at sight of the paper.
"Winter.. lodge?" He questioned. "Seok, it's literally in America." He blinked at him.
"And? It's free." Hoseok said. Yoongi just hummed again. A free trip to America? To a winter lodge? There's no harm in signing up..
