Prologue Part 3
Afton's POV
"I've brought you all down here to show you the new costumes you will be wearing!" I smiled at their terrified faces. Becca immediately understood what I meat, and begged me for forgiveness. I ignored her, but it hurt. My hand brushed over the control panel, then hovered over 2 buttons. I pressed them both at the same time, then pressed another button above the first one. The lights went out for a few seconds, ad I swear I heard Fred scream for the first time. Carlos could be heard screaming above Becca. She sounded like she was on the brink of tears. I began to fear that I would need to restart the power, but soon the lights flickered on again, including one in the middle of Fred and Carlos's room. Also known to me as Funtime Auditorium maintenance center. Then I heard it. A metal clank coming from the darkness of the maintenance room. Far behind the light. One look at Carlos and Fred told me they had heard it too.
Fred's POV
I was facing Afton. Both me and Carlos was, him crying, me very uneasy. The noise had come from behind us. I didn't want to look behind me. I've watched enough movies to know well enough for myself that looking behind you is what gets you killed. But I had to know. I wanted to see my perhaps future killer's face. So I turned around to face them, Carlos doing the same. At first, all I saw was the single light in our room, and the darkness beyond. Then, two pairs of glowing eyes. My heart sank into my stomach. Carlos looked so helpless, but I knew I probably did too. Afton seemed to be in control of whatever was going on. Then, I saw it. An animatronic. You'd think Afton would quit messing with those after one killed his daughter. It was so far away, I couldn't make out what shape it was taking. But when it stepped into the light, everything became clear. I heard myself gasp. It was a bear. Not just any bear, it looked like my bear costume I wore at the pizza place. It looked like me in costume, but much taller. Taller then Circus Baby. Taller then Carlos. What shocked me was the amount of detail that had been put into it. Even up to the hand-puppet I wore. Bon-Bon as I called him. Then, the head turned to Bon-Bon, who seemed to look back at 'Funtime Freddy'. "Bon-Bon, let's go say hi to our friend!" it said, the they both looked at me in sync. Our voices were so similar it wasn't even funny! It then charged at me. I tucked and rolled away just in time. But the animatronic was fast. He grabbed me by the shoulder, meanwhile Bon-Bon tried to bite my neck! When I still held them off, he seemed to give up and simply hurl me against the wall. My vision blurred, but I was just barely able to see him run at me again. His stomach opened up before he reached me, and what looked like a claw came out. It grabbed me by the leg ad dragged me closer to it's face. He got right in my face, before a second claw I hadn't seen plunged through my stomach. I definitely screamed, but I couldn't hear myself. Every noise was muffled. The claw dislodged itself from my stomach, then hovered over my chest. For a split second, I didn't think it would happen. Then I realized it had already been done, having shot through my chest ad coming out the other side. I suddenly found it hard to breathe. I was coughing up blood, drowning myself. All I saw was the viewing window, and Afton's smirking face. Then the world went black. I had lost. All I could hope was that the others had better luck then me.
Carlos's POV
It... it just killed Fred! I was terrified. As soon as it looked like Fred was no longer alive, the bear swallowed him whole, then simply shut down. But even after he was no longer active, I could still hear a robotic clinking noise coming from farther away. Afton had pushed another one of his buttons, it seemed. I backed up until I hit the viewing window behind me. It emerged from the shadows like something out of a nightmare, though I knew I wasn't dreaming. My stomach churned, and I felt a sense of dread as it stepped close enough for me to see. When it got closer, my nausea grew worse. It was a fox. I was beginning to see a sort of twisted pattern to these robots. They were us. Our 'costumes', but they were wearing us! How was I supposed to fight against that? When it lunged at me, I tried to run the other way, but I smacked into a wall. Not a wall, I soon realized, but the Foxes already waiting hand. It grabbed me, and lifted me off the ground. It was holding me by the throat, making it hard to breathe. I thrashed, but it didn't help in the slightest. Then, the fox opened it mouth, revealing his teeth. No! I screamed, really loudly, but there was no hope of anyone coming to my aid. No chance of me being heard by anyone above. He bit me, his mouth slowly closing around my head like a clamp. The world was fading away. All I could think of was that Becca was next. I hoped she didn't suffer as me and Fred did. She didn't deserve it. But I knew for a fact it probably wouldn't be painless.
Afton's POV
That was the end of them. I shut down Funtime Foxy after Carlos was safely stored inside, then turned to face Becca. I felt something towards her. She had always helped me since my wife left, helping me with my kids. I didn't know if she really deserved what was about the happen. Then I reminded myself about what she had done. It was unforgivable. There was no postponing it. She knew it was coming, and I knew she would fight back. There was no way she was going down without a fight. Without trying to escape. Unfortunately, there was no way she was out of this. I pushed the button. I could tell she saw the eyes by her sudden change in her expression. She was out of luck, these animatronics didn't have any emergency shut off switches on them, I controlled everything. There was no cord that could be pulled, like Becca said she had done after the incident occurred. She seemed to already know this. I had made Ballora, her character. I made her beautiful, just like Becca was. She was special, beautiful, graceful. Becca turned back to me, and continued to pound against the window, begging to be let out. I could feel her pain. Then, Ballora came into view for me, standing behind her. Becca seemed to now accept the fact that she was going to die. Willing to receive the fate that I had chosen for her. Ballora's claw extended towards her, then plunged through her chest, hitting the window and almost making a crack. Her hands found her way to the hole in her chest with the metal sticking out and touched it, blood dripping into her seemingly waiting hand. Her expression showed some pain, but she did not scream. Did not cry. She simply looked at me, with a mixture of disappointment and anger that made me draw back from the glass. She touched the window with her hand, as if she was reaching for me, then allowed herself to be dragged away by Ballora. No doubt to be stored inside her. All that remained of her was her bloody hand-print she had left on the glass. I felt a single tear roll down my face before leaving, yet I couldn't help but feel as if my hands were covered in their blood.
