Prologue: Part 1
(Becca's POV)
Circus Baby's Pizza world. That wasn't the original name. Before, it was Freddy and Friends Pizza World. This was before something new was introduced. But knew isn't always good. You'll see why.
(Becca's POV) 1945
I truly love this place. My favorite character had always been Ballora. The dancer. She was a very talented woman. Lots of people thought it was strange we didn't have what was now known as animatronic characters. Freddy Fazbear's Pizza had already gotten in on the action. Who didn't know about Bonnie, Chica, Freddy, Foxy, the Puppet, Balloon Boy? They were legendary, every kid knew who they were. Not many knew about the sister location, us. All three buildings were connected, Freddy Fazbear's,Fredbear's Family Dinner, and Freddy and friends Pizza World. All owned by Mr. William Afton. He was a very strange man, but he had a beautiful family, a wife, two sons, and a daughter. He was nice to me at least. After the woman who had been ,Ballora retired, he offered me the position, which I gladly accepted. I had been a dancer all my life, to me this was the perfect opportunity. When I started my job, I got to meet the other performers. The man who the kids knew as Funtime Foxy introduced himself to me as Carlos, and the man known as Funtime Freddy introduced himself as Fred. Both of them were super friendly to me and complimented on my show. Dancing wasn't very interesting for boys, so I always added in some tricks they would think is cool. My audience always had a good mixture of girls and boys.
Fred would tell jokes, and his hand puppet 'Bonnie' would answer. Fred sure gave Bonnie a funny voice. The children loved him.
Carlos had a ball pit in his room, and would play hide and seek with the kids. Everything about the place was perfect. My favorite part had to be the dinner show. After serving the pizza, all three of us would get on the stage together and sing happy birthday to the birthday child. Just to see the child's face light up as we started singing warmed my heart. Nothing could be better. So of course, it had to get worse.
Mr. Afton added someone new to our cast of characters. None of us had a problem with that. It wasn't the red hair and dress. Not the clown make-up that turned us away. Not those creepy, green eyes.
It was the fact that it was a robot. An animatronic. She wasn't even human!
When I first looked at it, I instantly knew who had inspired it. Afton's daughter had all of the same features. Red hair, green eyes, usually a red dress. It was taller than me, taller than Fred, but a little shorter than Carlos. That would scare kids more then invite them. We were all against Circus Baby being added, but Afton was the boss. We ended up sharing our stage. Over time, Circus Baby was given many upgrades. She could inflate balloons in her fingers. Take song requests. Dispense ice cream from her stomach. She soon would be able to dance and sing. At least the kids liked her. But, we were now under strict orders. We were not allowed to let William's daughter anywhere near Baby. Why this was he didn't say. We listened of course, not truly understanding. He built the robot after her, yet she wasn't allowed in the room with her at all! To me, this was kind of sad, but Afton paid the bills. So we obeyed. She was only allowed to see her during very big shows. These took place about once a month. Even still, she wasn't allowed to touch her. I could tell she envied the kids hugging her after the show. But Baby never performed. She just stood in the corner, smiling. She usually only hugged me, nobody else. As Afton explained, I was like her second mother while her real mom worked almost every day. She wasn't close with her brothers either. So I filled in the space. But I guess it wasn't enough.
One day, after a show, Mr. Afton let his daughter see her friends in the second party room. One of them was having their birthday party there. She was attending as a guest. I watched the room carefully, since I knew Circus Baby would be there, performing her first show soon. I had to perform in another room, so I asked Carlos to watch for me. He said yes, so I left. That was my first mistake.
(Afton's Daughter's POV)
I played with my friends for a while, then noticed Circus Baby enter the room. She just stood in the corner, like usual. Then, my friends suggested we play hide and seek. We left the room, then had Sophia count to fifty while the rest of us hid. I ran back to the party room. I cautiously peeked inside. Sure enough, she was still there. Funtime Foxy was gone, I had lost him. For some reason, he was watching me ever since Ballora left. I ducked inside before I was spotted. For the first time, I would be able to properly see Baby up close. She looked just like me. She was singing some pretty song I didn't know, but liked. All the other kids were allowed to see her, except for me. Now was my chance. For some reason, I felt as if she knew my father kept me from her.
"Daddy isn't watching" I told her. She turned her head to look at me. She wouldn't stop singing. It was now I actually was scared. I was thinking of why my dad would keep her from me. Now that I was in the room alone with her, it was too late to think of a reason. I backed up a little when her head turned. She didn't say anything to me, only looked at me, still singing. Then, she began to look around while her song went on. I don't know why, I was the only one with her. We were alone. Her eyes seemed to glow a bit greener. Did I imagine that? I was just too excited. "Don't tell Daddy that I'm here, I want to watch your show too!" She looked right into my eyes. I poured out my heart to her. "I don't know why he wouldn't let me come see you, you're wonderful!" I told her. I then noticed the clock on the back wall, behind her. It was past 12:30. The show should have started! Why wasn't anyone here? I decided to ask her myself. "Where did all the other children go?" She suddenly stopped singing, as if she now acknowledged my existence at last. Her stomach opened, and there was ice cream. Just for me. She wasn't moving, so I stepped closer. I reached over and was about to grab the ice cream, when she grabbed my wrist. Her stomach seemed to open even bigger. A claw then extended from her chest. I thrashed and screamed. No real words came out of my mouth in that moment. It was like her body swallowed me whole. There was a shooting pain in my stomach, and what felt like water ran down my legs. My eyes felt heavy, and I could no longer move without extreme pain in my chest. Then, the chest plates closed, with me inside. There was nothing but darkness. I couldn't feel anything around me. I was floating in darkness. It was only now I truly understood why father had kept me away. If only I had listened. My eyes closed, and I knew it was over.
