Chapter 7: Night 4-Out of the Office, Into the Night
Sinakumi arrives at the nightguard office. She is in the office alone.
*ring, ring*
Sinakumi: "Hello? Sailor?"
Sailor: "*ahem*...okay, okay...hello, hello?"
Sinakumi: "What are you doing, trying to mimic the Phone Guy?"
Sailor: "Ha, which one?"
After doing research about the pizzeria's phone number and discussing plans and/or back-up plans, Sinakumi was to go at the office alone.
Sailor: "You holding out okay?"
Sinakumi: "...*gulp*...for now."
She switches on the camera system and looks through them thoroughly.
Sailor: "Hey, keep me on..."
Sinakumi: "'kay...oh, hold up, hold up...Foxy, peaking out, Bonnie, parts and service, Chica...he's in the party room."
Sailor: "Got...it..."
Sinakumi could hear Sailor writing and typing in the background.
Sailor: "...Uh...did that do anything...?"
Sinakumi: "Well...oh!"
All the animatronics had returned to the stage, staring wide-eyed at the camera...and all in model-mode. Since they now had human-like features, Sinakumi could see the shock in their faces. Sailor had figured out something about the animatronics during the daytime. They all ran by program whether they liked it or not. And since the program's off for the night, not controlling them, Sailor can keep them on the stage for small amounts of time, by messing with the program.
Sinakumi: "Irk...now...how long again...will they stay onstage?"
Sailor: "Around...5-10 minutes...then they'll come after you. Well, more precisely...your office. Okay, start moving!"
Sinakumi: "...Are you sure this is a good idea?"
Sailor: "Sina...I won't let them get to you. I promise. If anything happens...then I'll go there."
Sinakumi: "...Alright...if this fails..."
Sinakumi starts choking...
Sinakumi: "Finish the game without me...promise that."
Sailor: "...I will."
*beep*
Sinakumi and Sailor hangs up. Around...3 minutes left. Sinakumi wiped her tears and grabbed the tablet and flashlight. She then turned the chair around and quickly dashed out of the office.
*****
(computer): "<Connected>"
Sailor: "Finally...okay, Sina...where are you..."
Sailor's computer in her room shows up the camera map layout as if this was the nightguard tablet...just computer version. She watches Sinakumi sneak into a room in the left hall. Though, right after that her camera snaps to the stage where she could see the animatronics lumbering toward the nightguard office, stiff from the electricity. Sailor switches to the camera in the right hallway...then splits her screen to also show the left hallway. Foxy and Freddy on left, Bonnie and Chica on right, both doors wide open.
Sailor: "And...Sinakumi should've had that chair turned around...ah, they're in!"
All the animatronics crammed themselves into the office, all going for the chair at once. But once they see that no one was there, Sailor pressed the 'A' and the 'D' key on her computer. Both doors go down...and she jams the buttons.
Sailor: "Got ya, suckers! Woo!"
She flops down on her chair and looks back through the cameras...she forgot where Sinakumi was...and she couldn't find her anywhere.
Sailor: "Sina...? Sina?! Sinakumi?! Sinakumi!!! Where are you?!"
*****
Sinakumi was in a dim room...she saw no blinking red light of a camera...but...
Sinakumi: "Either...that's just a fake...or that's a camera that doesn't work..."
The light on that camera isn't blinking. The glass on it is cracked. She earlier heard the sound of the doors falling and the error notification sound of the doors malfunctioning. Sailor locked them in the office. So Sinakumi SHOULD be safe for now...for now.
Sinakumi: "Then...I should probably leave...hey...what the-?"
The door's jammed...it's probably a very worn door if it's this rusty... Sinakumi concludes, hoping someone or something didn't purposely trap her inside here. It can't be Sailor...if it was, she'd make sure...but the camera here doesn't work. Who else would it be...? Then...she heard something behind her groan...
???: "You..."
Sinakumi: "Ah...ah...ah...ah...!!!"
Sinakumi was too terrified to get her words straight. There was golden brown haired man, lying limp against the wall, wearing similar clothes to Freddy, faded-yellow tuxedo, brown shoes and pants, black top hat with a pale gold bow. He looked like someone put him in the paper shredder...a couple more times...then tried to put him back together again...but utterly failed...and then decided to scrap him. Sinakumi thought he was so sorry-looking...but scary at the same time.
Sinakumi: "Who...what...happened to you...?"
???: "Game over...for you..."
Sinakumi: "...Game over...?"
???: "Ha...hah...urgh..."
Sinakumi: "Look, I don't know who you are, or what happened to you, but we need to get out of here...urgh, but we can't the night just started..."
???: "What...? Get out...? We can't leave..."
The man's rusty and weak voice wasn't entirely registered to Sinakumi's ears. Not knowing the man's true nature (for all of you screaming 'HE'S GONNA KILL YOU!!! YOU BAKA, GET OUT OF THERE!!!'), Sinakumi moves closer to him, helping him up. She feels his weight is lighter than what she expected.
Sinakumi: "Oh my gosh, when have you last ate? You're featherweight."
???: "...Urgh..."
Sinakumi: "S-sorry...where does it hurt?"
He stared at her, using most of his strength to lift his head to see her face clearly. Sinakumi saw his pitch black eyes, with a faint, white glow in each. Her face crosses in concern.
Sinakumi: "Hold tight, I'll go see if...well, I'll see if there's a first-aid kit somewhere..."
???: "...a first-aid kit can't help me..."
Sinakumi: "Well, if we can survive to the end of the night, then I know someone who can. She's very smart and caring. And she's my best friend. You'll love her."
???: "...Love..."
Sinakumi: "Erm...I mean the friend kind of love..."
Sinakumi pushes the rusty door as hard as she can. A loud screeching sound echoed off of the door, causing Sinakumi to shake up.
Sinakumi: "Ah...! Ha..."
???: "...um..."
Sinakumi: "I'll be fine! You just...keep watch of yourself...if you can...scream. I'll come running."
She's able to push the door out just a little. Then she squeezes her way out of the small crack and is out. She first goes to the nightguard office to see if she can catch the time. Crouching under the left hall window, she peeks over the metal frame of the glass, seeing all four of the animatronics gathered there. Just behind Bonnie, who's leaning against the desk, is the digital alarm clock that projects, '4:00 A.M.'.
Foxy: "This...has never happened before."
Chica: "I don't even think we've been in the office."
Freddy: "Now we are."
Bonnie: "Tch, they're gonna get themselves killed."
Chica: "Well, only one. I only saw the teal-head walk in. She looked awfully pale."
Foxy: "Maybe the black-head abandoned her."
Freddy: "Not likely."
Bonnie: "Don't you guys know?! We're stuck in a jammed-door office, while some vulnerable human is wandering around the pizzeria, with HIM there, too!"
(all): "...?!"
Chica: "Uh...oh..."
Foxy: "Of all the deaths these girls were to get...one of them is getting him."
Chica: "Unless she's able to make it until 6:00 A.M."
Bonnie: "...Freddy?"
Freddy: ".....We'll see."
Sinakumi's face paled. Right. She thought. Sailor mentioned something about another animatronic. But who was it?! Her brain racked for ideas, though she couldn't remember what his name was or what he looked like. The ultimate game over. Those were the only words she could remember from the conversation. And judging on how the animatronics were acting, he must be terrifying. And that man! The memory caught her. He's there alone! What if that guy gets to him?! And it's mostly likely he can't walk...! She starts to hurry.
*****
Sailor: "It's...you."
Vincent: "Yes, it's me."
Sailor wasn't monitoring the cameras anymore. She was pale with shock at the supposedly dead Vincent. He's standing there in her room wearing a nightguard uniform...with a somewhat tint of purple. She glares at him, the Bluetooth, computer mouse in hand.
Sailor: "Heck...what are you doing here?"
Vincent: "Just observing. Go on. Keep checking your cameras. Sina could get killed."
Sailor: "No one. Calls her Sina. But. Me."
Vincent: "You have overlooked...one...major...detail."
Sailor: "...What."
Vincent: "How many animatronics are there?"
Sailor: "...In the room?"
Vincent: "Yes."
Sailor: "...Oh no, Sinakumi!!!"
Sailor whips around to search the cameras, but Vincent pulls her by the arm, throwing her to the floor.
Sailor: "No, no, no, no, no, no, NOOOOO!!! LET GO OF ME!!! Sina, NO!!!"
Vincent: "Oh, calm down, Ms. Pisces. I have a feeling she'll get out okay."
Vincent snaps his fingers and the electricity in her room goes out. Just...in her room. It's just about 5:00 A.M, and the sunlight is just starting to peak out from the single window in her room. Just as Vincent turns to leave the room, something bronze glints on his chest...then he's gone. Locking the door behind him.
Sailor: "What was..."
Vincent: "Oh, and by the way, the door will unlock once it's 6:00 A.M."
Sailor: "What?!"
Vincent: "Hah...I won't be here tomorrow. Changing judgment, you know. And...tell Ms. Author I said...'happy birthday'."
Sailor: "Happy...wait, GET BACK HERE! VINCENT! YOU CAN'T DO THIS!"
*pound, pound, pound!!!*
Sailor: "Sinakumi..."
*****
Vincent: "This is her birthday. Don't you think...this is...a little unnecessary?"
"Ha...why do you think the pizzeria is all decked-up for? Now...wait until she gets her birthday kiss."
Vincent: "Kiss...you mean..."
"Yes, that."
Vincent: "This is...the first game. There's...no ending choice."
"They made their choices. And Sinakumi and Sailor are reaching that day."
Vincent: "...."
