The original Five Nights at Freddy's only had 2 animatronics, they names were Golden Freddy, and Golden Bonny. This is really important later on. The Purple Man at this time is just an employee.

The Purple Man made his strike at that time. He killed 5 children, they soon became Freddy, Bonny, Chica, Foxy, and Puppet Boy. I know you think it should just the original 4, but just hear me. The 4 were killed on the same day, but Puppet Boy was killed later on.

Now, let's move onto the Five Nights at Freddy's 2. The first night it is only the toy animatronics, yet when it gets to the second night is when the old animatronics act up, that reason being, on the first night it says that the person who worked there before you was switched to day shift. That man was in fact the Purple Man, so on the second night, Puppet Boy thinks your the Purple Man. Then, Puppet Boy alerts the old animatronics.

In the end of Five Nights at Freddy's 2, it shows the 4 old animatronics going into a room with 2 entrences yet the purple man pops out of a wall, and take each animatronic apart 1 by 1. The reason why he comes out of a wall is because he programed them to think that the door to the room was a wall. Now the spirits that were trapped inside the animatronics were free. They trapped him inside his own room.

The Purple Man went into the Golden Bonny suit thinking it was the Golden Freddy suit. Also it was raining that night, so then the spring loads went off, which killed him and turned him into Spring Trap.

Five Nights at Freddy's 5 it is just Puppet Boy when he was human and had halusanations at night.

Now time for my thought of why they should make a Five Nights at Freddy's 5. At the end of Five Nights at Freddy's 3 they showed a Freddy plushie, in the back round if you lighten it up you'll see that Spring Trap servived the fire.
