Chapter 8: Day 4 - Regroup, Recaptured, Reopening

After a very long and difficult trip back up to the room, the guys, Aurum, and Sailor burst through the door and crash land in the living room. Vincent just watched the scene unfold from the kitchen.

Vincent: "Oh, you've finally brought them back. I'll go get the first...aid...wait, what is everyone wearing...?"

Vincent notes at the scraps of fabric that created the makeshift bandages and slings.

Sailor: "I'll...I'll get it outta them. Get the kit. Now."

Vincent: "All...alright..."

He slips out of the kitchen and down the hallway for the first aid kit, which was in the bathroom. Sailor helps the guys on the couch and gets a couple chairs for Bonnie and Freddy. They were all panting and trying hard not to move, for the pain they felt from all that jerky running made their bodies throb and hurt all over.

Sailor: "Right....seriously, what the heck did you do your first aid with, leftover nightguard uni...forms...? -?!?!?!"

Freddy: "A...About that..."

Sailor: "AH!!! I DIDN'T EVEN PAYED ATTENTION THAT TIME, BUT ARE THOSE SINA'S...!??!?!"

Bonnie: "...And if we say yes...?"

Foxy: "Uh, don't worry...that place was pretty dark and we couldn't really see anything..."

Bonnie: "And she told us to run forward so we couldn't see anyways."

Chica: "...Except for that one time."

Chica was noting that time when they saw Sinakumi get captured by the King and Mangle.

Sailor: "Now she's captured. Again."

Vincent: "Scott wanted her. That 'King' wants her. Why though...?"

Sailor: "What am I, burnt chicken?"

Bonnie: "Didn't that plastic chicken say something about 'having his way with her'...?"

(all): "...."

Sailor: "Wait. WHAT...?"

Vincent: "It might be just a play on words. I don't think they need that in a game. I am pretty sure Scott didn't design this place like that."

Sailor: "THAT'S NOT THE ISSUE!!! YOU GUYS HAD HER STRIP BARE!!!"

Bonnie: "We couldn't even MOVE! She did that ALL ON HER OWN!!! All she told us to do was to run and not look back!"

Vincent: "Bonnie, don't move, I'm doing you next."

This conversation rocked back and forth about something Sinakumi definitely wouldn't understand. Vincent slipped around the guys while they argued and got them patched up anyway.

*****

Sinakumi: "Urgh...where the heck am I now...?"

Mangle: "O-O-O-Oh, morning-ing-ing-ing, dar-dar-dar-dar-ling. S-s-s-sorry about thi-this-this."

Sinakumi: "...WHAT THE....?!?!"

Sinakumi was met face to face with Mangle hanging limply from the ceiling. She remained unfazed by her shock and twisted her body so she could bow her head in an apology. Then she pulled her body slowly up to the ceiling and disappeared in a maze of metal beams and tangles of wires that matched her body.

Sinakumi: "...Again...? Seriously...? Every time...? Sailor..."

I got caught. Again. Sorry about this, she grumbled inside her head, like what she did if she or Sailor died too many times in a video game. She looked around and saw she was in a familiar circular room, tied tightly to a chair that was bolted to the floor. She felt like the place was empty and had something...large...long...metallic...and maybe...sharp...? There was a big light hanging above her head that made the walls around her disappear into the darkness.

"Oh, so this is the fantasy nightguard."

"I told you~! Look, look, her hair is really that shade of teal and her eyes are brighter!"

The heck...? Noises of vocaloid-sounding voices echoed into the circular room, though there were faint as if they were coming from another room over or something.

Sinakumi: "I can HEAR you guys, you know! Come out, you cowards! I don't like this! At all!"

Her voice was choking and weak, though her tough screaming bounced off of the walls of the circular room.

"Quiet, girly."

Sinakumi: "You! You're...Toy Chica...!"

Toy Chica: "Yeah, an upgrade from your mangy, tattered older version."

Sinakumi: "You guys were the reason they ended up that way! You even did that to Aurum!"

Toy Chica: "Aurum...Golden Freddy? Him? Ah, haha...look, she even gave him a name."

Sinakumi: "...Yeah, and a better one at that."

Toy Chica: "Hmph, you're speaking to me like I'm the bad guy."

Sinakumi: "Well, I don't know if you're doing this against your will or not, but I have more confusion and rage for the striped tuxedo man."

Toy Chica: "...You're a good actor."

Sinakumi: "What...?"

Toy Chica sauntered slowly up to Sinakumi and her shadow casted down on her form the overhead light. Her eyes flashed black with the white pupils.

Toy Chica: "The real enemy of this game isn't us. It's you. Sinakumi Author. You're the real reason that this mess came to be. Why we're doing this. Why we're killers and your 'friends' from the last game. Golden Freddy was one of us. What have you done to him...?"

Sinakumi could see that Toy Chica was quietly seething in white hot rage and hatred for her. She casted her eyes down, not answering to Toy Chica.

Toy Chica: "Quit acting so innocent. You know exactly what's going on here and who the 'striped tuxedo man' is."

Sinakumi: "...."

Toy Chica: "Well? Aren't you going to say something? Like, 'sorry', for starters...?"

Sinakumi: "...I'm sorry...though, I have no idea what you're talking about."

*SLAP*

Toy Chica: "DON'T GIVE ME THAT TALK. YOU'RE THE REASON WE ARE ANIMATRONICS. WHY WE AREN'T ALIVE. THIS IS ALL. YOUR. FAULT!!!"

Sinakumi: "...."

The slap stung and it felt real. Sinakumi's head fell limply to her shoulder and Toy Chica was trying very hard not to kill her while she was bounded. Suddenly, an unseen door opened. Sounds of clacking shoes echoed in the metallic room causing Toy Chica's head to snap to attention.

Toy Chica: "Your...your highness....!"

The King: "You may, leave, Eve."

Toy Chica: "Please, your highness, don't say my real name while...it...is conscious."

The King: "I will do as I please. Leave."

Toy Chica: "....!!!"

Sinakumi: "Toy Chica...?"

Toy Chica: "Hmph...."

She stomped out of the room, every heavy footstep making Sinakumi flinch. She couldn't help but feel guilty at what Toy Chica was telling her. Though, she didn't know why.

The King: "Hello, again, Sinakumi Author."

His face was concealed by a mask that matched his animatronic....well, humanoid-sort-of robotic mode. His eyes never blinked and his gaze was mesmerizing, like it was sucking her in. She blinked a couple times to snap out of it, then averted her gaze. He stepped forward and roughly grabbed her chin, forcing her to look at him.

The King: "That was rude."

Sinakumi: "...What your animatronics did to the guys...what you're doing to me...I think we crossed the bridge of 'rude' through you."

She tried hard to not be scared. She thought of Sailor, the guys, Vincent and Aurum. They'd be so much more braver in this situation. She could just hear all the sarcastic quotes from Sailor in the back of her head on what she'd say in this situation. Though she didn't have the courage to say them herself.

The King: "Hmph, you never lost your touch."

Sinakumi: "...D-don't talk like you know me."

The King: "I will do as I please, Sinakumi Author."

He slowly dropped his hand from her chin and straightened himself from bending down. Every move his did was graceful and calculated. Like his feathers couldn't be ruffled. This was this world's 'Star King' (SCM reference).

Sinakumi: "W-Wait...!"

The King: "...."

Sinakumi: "Tell me, please! Why are you doing this? What have I done? Is this all my fault, what am I supposed to do?!"

The King: "...You truly don't remember anything, Sinakumi Author?"

Sinakumi: "YEAH. NOTHING. AT ALL."

He turned back to face her, his white pupil, a bit smaller than usual. Like his eyes are widening underneath the mask. He stepped near her once again, then slowly lifted his mask. Sinakumi made an audible gulping sound when she saw what was underneath. The purple tear streaks from his mask replicated the wide purple-bruised scars that trailed from his eyes down. Near the middle of the trails, there was a dark crimson splotch that replicated the plastic cheeks. Besides that and his somewhat bloody lips, his entire face was paper white.

Sinakumi: "...What...what happened to you...?"

Sinakumi couldn't help but feel like she should help him or something. This was the same emotion she felt when she saw Aurum back in that room from the first game.

The King: "You. We are saying this is your fault. We need to bring you up, or we'll get more punishment."

She didn't expect for him to say anything that made him sound inferior. Something more powerful than him was probably threating him to hand her over, and Sinakumi wanted to do anything to avoid that in the best way possible.

Sinakumi: "W-why...? Did this...person who's punishing you tell you why...?"

The King: "This was our original mission, Sinakumi Author. Your birthday present."

Sinakumi: "My...birthday present...? You mean from last year...?"

The King: "You're catching on."

Sinakumi: "So...you'll tell me...?"

The King: "I have no choice."

*****

Sailor: "What the...?"

Vincent: "Well, that's just plain unfortunate."

Sailor: "It's...closed...? Wait, there's some workers inside! Are they under blackmail like what you did?"

Vincent: "Say what you will, those workers were just outright scared of me. I had nothing to blackmail randomly generated data streams with."

Sailor: "Point made, point reserved."

*knock, knock, knock*

Worker: "...? Um, sorry, ma'am, sir, we're under maintenance at the moment..."

Sailor and Vincent arrived alone at the pizzeria, hoping to get some thing while the guys were asleep. The worker had heard the knocking and came out to apologize. He was pretty shy and nervous. Sailor wondered if he was new or scared.

Sailor: "Can we ask...why this place is under maintenance...?"

Worker: "...um...I think it's mainly because we're working on the party that's coming up this Friday. The...grand opening week finale...?"

Sailor: "...Oh no..."

Worker: "...Ma'am...? Are you okay...?"

Sailor: "Erm, can me and my...partner go to our office...? We need to check on something..."

Worker: "Huh...?"

The worker glanced behind Sailor's shoulder and saw Vincent leaning against the passenger door of her Ferrari. He caught the worker's gaze and waved at him once. The worker shyed over and looked down.

Worker: "I don't know if that's necessary...our boss...or someone...I mean..."

Sailor: "It's alright, if your nervous. We just need to know. Just...calm down..."

Worker: "...thank you, ma'am. Um..."

With a bit more courage, the worker started filling her in on the details he knew about.

Worker: "From what I've heard...we're supposed to be working on the grand opening finale party. Though for some reason, everything is being labeled like a...birthday party. We don't know for who, or that's just what the format is for. I mean...if we were gonna do a birthday theme, we shouldn't have to wait a week to do the party."

Sailor: "You have a point, go on."

Worker: "The real...maintenance...I think, I don't know for sure, is maybe primarily for the animatronics...? I haven't seen them since yesterday."

Sailor: "The animatronics?"

Worker: "Yeah, they never told us where they were taken or why. Well...don't say anything, though, I found it a bit suspicious-"

Manager: "Hey, YOU over there! WHAT in the world are ya SPILLIN' to 'er!"

Sailor: "Hey! You have no right to talk to him like that!"

Manager: "He's my worker! I can talk to him WHATEVER!"

Sailor: "...I'm sorry, I can't do anything to help you..."

Worker: "That's alright. I'll get out of it somehow."

Manger: "And WHO are YOU?!"

Sailor: "Sailor Pisces, one of the official nightguards of Freddy Fazbear Pizza. I am here accompanied by my partner, and we were just heading into office for the time being."

Manager: "There is no animatronics to watch over. It's useless."

Sailor: "Why do I need to watch over the animatronics at this time of day? We need to look over something. Urgent."

Manager: "Can't you look at it at your dang shift? We're under-"

Sailor: "I don't believe you."

Manager: "....!"

Sailor: "Whatever the reason, the place has been pretty decked up for some time, and you're JUST putting in the extra preparations with newbie workers?"

Manager: "This is...that was..."

Sailor: "You know what's going to happen on this grand re...opening finale?"

Sailor took a step forward, making the manager do a couple steps back, then fall to the ground in utter fear.

Sailor: "Oh, look at this. He actually knows."

She then grabs the manager by the collar and hoists him up with ease, everyone around, including Vincent who came up to see what was going on watched in amazement.

Sailor: "Now...I got it now. So...let us through...and this pizzeria...might still be upon standing."

Vincent: "...This isn't that game, though we'll see what we can do."

(all): "....?"

Vincent: "Nothing...."
