"Mom! Dad! Can I go over to Nate's house now?!" Uni called out to his parents, desperately wanting to start the night.

"Sure, whatever!" His mom shouted back. Uni wasted no time as he grabbed a pillowcase and bolted for the door, he ran out and hit the door so it would close behind him. As he sprinted down the street, his tail flopping behind him, other kids and families were already along the street. It was Uni's favourite time of year, Halloween.

Bang! Bang! Bang!
"Nateeee!" Uni called out as he banged on his friends door, he could hear rock music coming from inside. Suddenly Nate opened the door with his bear costume on.
"Hey Uni! Your late, Tim and Em are already here." Nate said, excitment flooding his voice. Uni stepped inside and saw RockBand playing in Nate's Xbox, Tim and Em jamming out to it.
"Sorry I was late, my parents wouldn't let me leave." Uni apologized.

"Haha! Yes!" Tim suddenly yelled then turned off the Xbox and grabbed his pumpkin shaped bucket, Em grabbed a pillowcase that was lying on a chair next to her.
"Ready?" Em asked, happy even though she lost.
"Yep!" Uni, Nate and Tim said at the same time.
"Then let's go get some..." Nate started, closing the door behind him.
"Candy!" They all yelled.

Uni glanced around him and his friends, Uni wore a dog coustume, Nate a bear, Tim a robot and Em was a flower. They had only hit five houses and they already had a good selection in their bags and buckets. They were walking up the driveway of another house and knocked on the door. There was no answer, so Uni knocked again. Still no answer, then walked back down the driveway when a zombie jumped out from behind a tree and shouted Boo!, at them. They all took off running down the street clutching their candy bags close to themselves.

After that passed two houses, they stopped running and started laughing.

Cold fingers touched Uni and he awoke with a start.
"Hey, Uni. It's six am." Red told him.
"It is?! I gotta go! See you tonight Red!" Uni practically yelled and ran out the door, hurrying to get home before Nick woke up. As he went into his room he could hear Nick's alarm going off. He was safe.
