Weeks go by and the rumours of the fight between Five and Jenkins was lodged in the ears of every single person in town that willingly lend their ears to listen. Some people were appalled by the behaviour of both men while others saw it as a heroic act of love on Five's part. The story was the only thing you heard and you were getting tired of it. It was almost impossible to escape as you worked tirelessly in your florist while you avoided Five in every possible way.

After that night, you were confused.

Confused about your emotions and the new feelings you didn't know you felt. You were confused about what they were and what Five meant to you. Five had tried to reach out to you often, sending letters to your home. You wanted to sort out the thoughts in your head but it was difficult when your heart kept racing every time you saw him. Especially now as he walked in your florist for the 100th time this week looking for you.

"Five Hargreeves, how may I help you?" Five looked so sad as he approached you.

"Has Madame (y/n) come to buy flowers yet?" You shook your head now and he sighed out. "Have I done something wrong?" Five mutters out and you wanted to reach over and hug him but you didn't.

"You didn't do anything wrong-" Five looked at you in surprise and you purse your lips. "I apologise. This is nothing of my concern. I shouldn't have overstepped-"

"-it's ok." Five smiled gently and you melt as his hidden dimples came out to say hello, a feature that you rarely saw but admired very much.

"She must be confused." You spoke up, trying to mix your muddled thoughts. "She has been alone almost all her life and she must be feeling new things that she hasn't before. She doesn't know what to do or how to comprehend these feelings." You speak up unconsciously, trying to make sense of everything as Five listened to you. "She's worried that she is misreading these feelings as something else and doesn't want to hurt you."

"Is that why she is avoiding me? She needs time to figure her feelings for me?" Five perks up at the notion of you may be having romantic feelings for him.

"Maybe." You blush softly, letting your hair hide your cheeks.

"Can you tell her to meet me in a weeks time for the final ball of the Social Season?" You freeze at the request but slowly nod and Five beams in anticipation. "Thank you so much!" Five eagerly runs out of the store to leave you flustered.

"Will you finally confess who you are to him?" You get startled and turn to see your co-worker as she played with your mask.

"Hide that." You hiss, snatching it from her grasp and putting it away from prying eyes.

"You need to tell him who you are, at least after you both confess your feelings to one another." your co-worker knew of your secret and you had trusted her to keep it. So even know, you trusted her judgment to confess to Five.

"I don't know if I should." You mumble and she sighs out.

"There is nothing you could lose. He will still love you as you are. Imagine, you both getting married and finally leaving a life of love." She sighs as she daydreams of this fairytale story for you and you chuckle at how childish she was. "Will you let me be your bridesmaid!?" You quieten her down as she jumps in excitement.

"Maybe-"

"-Yes! Now let's close the shop for today and go fit you for a dress for a princess. You need to amaze your new husband."

The sun was shining high up in the sky in the clear blue sky as ladies and misses of all families stepped out of their carriages adorned in their most expensive and exquisite gowns. For tonight will be the final ball of the Social Season and the opportunity of the bachelors to ask their courtships a hand in marriage. As the most important ball of the season, the Queen herself annually hosts this ball for the young couples in hope of celebrating a new family into her town.

There was an air of excitement and anticipation amongst every lady and you yourself was one of them. You fiddled with your new golden lace mask, peering out of the window to see every single debutante wearing white as a mandatory requirement. You let out a shaky breath, smoothing down wrinkles in your new gown that your co-worker forced you to buy. It was more extravagant than any pieces of clothing you owned but it was a one of a kind fit.

The carriage came to a stop and you looked out to see the looming castle of the Queen's home where the final ball was held, decorated with gold and white banners, flowers and any other possible decoration that caught the suns golden ray and make it glow like liquid sunset.

"Are you ready Madame?" Your footman had opened the door of your carriage and you could feel a wave of panic wash over you as you heard the ladies all giggle in excitement of seeing you. You calm your racing heart, your mind drifting to Five and a small smile rest on your lips as you clam down.

"As ready as I'll ever be."

"You look wonderful Madame. I await for the next chapter of your life with blooming colours." Your footman holds out his hand and helps you out of your carriage as everyone around you gasps. "You deserve a happy life as much as anyone and I eagerly serve you in this new happy chapter." He bows to deeply, leaning on one knee and a hand over his heart.

"You don't need to do that." You help him back up but he laughs joyfully. You smile at him and bow, standing back up to glance up at the castle. Everyone whispers and awes over your gown, the very fabric itself almost entirely made out of diamonds, pearls and gems. You shone like an iridescent crystal under the sunlight, capturing the very light as if you were an angel.

You walk through the doors and up the stairs of the foyer, readying yourself before you opened the double doors. You take in a deep breath and push them open, walking through onto the balcony overlooking the extremely large ballroom. The chatter and music came to a stop as everyone glanced up at you, the light shining down on. The Queen gasped, tears in her eyes and you looked over the railing to see Five looking up at you in absolute awe.

He had a hand on his heart, his eyes wide as he stared at the love of his life smile at him like an angel from the heavens. Both your hearts were beating fast as you stared at each other with a love that expanded over many past lifetimes. Five walked over to the stairs as you walked down, waiting for you until he could hold your hand.

"(y/n)." Five whispered softly as he held your hand tightly in his, kissing the back of it softly as he smiled up at you.

"Five." You bowed gently and everyone's eyes were on you as Five lead you to the dance floor. He held you close, a hand around your waist as the other held your hand. The music overtook you both as you danced like it was created just for you both. You both stared at each other with unspoken love, Five dipping you as you caressed his cheek. You both were a living fairytale to the eyes of the people that watched you, a beauty and love that seemed so unattainable, so unreachable.

Five held your waist and lifted you up, spinning you around before setting you back down on your feet. This signalled every other couple to join in the dance as the orchestra mellowed over the people. The music captured you in your own little world that was for you and Five only, the only thing you both ever wanted in your life. Five spun you around, pulling you back to his chest as he held you gently, kissing your forehead and ignoring the squeals of the young misses on the sidelines. You looked up at him gently as he beamed down at you, eyes full of wonder and adoration just for you.

The music slowly faded away as you stood before Five, taking a step back and bowing before him as he did the same. You reached out to hold Five's hand and he turns pink at the sweet action, the Queen stepping up on her stage for her announcement.

"This seasons has been truly one of the most magical seasons I may never witness in my life again. I pray to the heavens for the luck I have to have witnessed the pure love and longing between these precious young couples." The Queen smiles over the couples that stood before her, each one holding the hands of their love.

Each bachelor kneeled down on their knees, revealing a ring for their loved one and you watched in joy at how happy the Debutantes were. "The Social Season is the reason for the creation of these happy families that are brought here today." The Queen starts again, walking down the stairs and onto the dance floor as the couples soon join their families, leaving you and Five left. "And it is with great pleasure to announce that this Seasons most honourable and special couple title belongs to Madame (y/n) and Lord Five Hargreeves."

You startle from the sudden applause as everyone around you beamed in joy. Five chuckles at your confusion, squeezing your hand and you look up at him with the most beautiful smile he has ever seen.

"We thank you, Your Majesty." Five bows before the Queen but she shakes her hand.

"I thank you, for letting me believe of such a love like yours is possible for everyone." You gasp as the Queen bows. "Now I hear you have an announcement yourself, Lord Hargreeves." The queen smirks at Five and he becomes a nervous mess.

"Five?" You turn around to face him as he takes a small step back.

"I know that you may not agree with the whole idea of marriage, but I can't help imagine living my life without you. I never thought that I would be able to find love, to find someone who was understanding and could help me express myself better. You've shown me the joys of life," Five kneels down and you gasp as he reveals a ring. "and you are one of my many joys of life (y/n)."

"Five..." You mutter out, your heart jumping in absolute joy. "Yes. Yes, I will marry you." Five grins as he slips the ring onto your finger, standing back up to kiss your hand.

"You have no idea how happy you have made me." Five whispers as he laid his forehead on yours.

"As for me, the same Five Hargreeves. However, there is one more thing I need to tell you." Everyone watches in confusion as you take a step back, your hands gripping the edge of your mask. "My name is (y/f/n), daughter of the long lost (l/n) dynasty and close cousins of the Queen." everyone around you gasps in shock as you take your mask off and Five instantly melts at how beautiful you were. He finally could see your face as you are and he steps forward to hold your face and kiss you deeply. The people around you cheered but you focused on the loving kiss you and Five shared. He didn't care about your background, all he cared about was how he could finally love you and have a future with you.

"I love you (y/n). My special florist girl." Your eyes widen at Five as he smirks down at you.

"How?"

"I had a feeling the last time we conversed at your shop. Also, I saw your black rose you had hidden in a glass case." Five snickers softly but stares at you gently, caressing your cheek.

You chuckle and look over to see the Queen walking up to, kissing your forehead. "Your family would be so happy if they were here."

"I know." She beams down at you, revealing your crown that you swore you would never wear.

"Will you finally take your place? I understand if you do not wish to. I just miss my family but I know you prefer your freedom." You sigh, looking at the crown and the unfortunate weight of responsibilities you had tried to avoid taking after your family passed away.

You look over at Five and you feel that weight disappear after seeing the reassuring look in his eyes. "I'm ready to come back and take my place."

"It is with great pleasure and a true reason for celebration to announce that Princess (y/f/n) has returned to us!" You kneeled down and the Queen gently places your crown on your head. "Your next Heir has returned to us with a soon to be King by her side!" You blush at the notion and stand back up as the Queen kisses both your cheeks. "Now go and have some fun. You deserve it." She winks at you and you turn back to Five as he laughed.

"Princess." He bows playfully and you smack his shoulder.

"Stop that. Still not used to the name."

"But will you get used to me calling you my wife?" FIve smirks as your face blooms red.

"As long as I can call you my husband." You giggle as it was his turn to bloom red and you gently place a hand on his cheek. "I love you, Five Hargreeves."
