Yes, I know the ending is shit cause I didn't want to be an asshole and have these two separate again after just finding each other for the third time. I'm not pulling an Om Shanti Om, that's too depressing lol.

Yeah originally the ending was gonna be that Sparrow Academy was going to attack just like the war occurring in the past and (y/n) would have major PTSD. Five tells her to stay in the bedroom as he goes to fight the academy with his family but of course (y/n) doesn't listen because she believes that Five was going to die again. So of course, she grabs a random sword from one of those medieval armour decorations and goes to find Five to protect him like she did before and finds him fighting with one of the sparrow academy kids. Her memories blend and twist together so she was thinking she saw her husband from the past being shot as she rushes forward to save him.

Now, I had two endings in mind:

1. Five was fighting with one of the Sparrow kids when he turns around and sees another going to attack (y/n). He rushes for her, hoping to break the loop of one of them always dying. She died saving him in the past even though he died later one, now he would save her this time but he was too late. (y/n) was extremely hurt and Five quickly teleports her away into the mansion as she bleeds out in his arms and they both realise that (y/n) was mortal. She tells him everything is going to be ok even though Five was crying for her to not leave him. She had promised him after all but she couldn't stay. Deep down she knew she wasn't supposed to stay and tells Five she loves her before breathing her last in his arms. Five begs for her to come back, cries as her body slowly turn into snowflakes and flies away into the wind. He tells her he loves her and that he was glad to have found her again one last time.

Now here, I had two more ideas for an ending for this part.

Either Five waits for his turn to die naturally and reunites with (y/n) again or he moves on and lets her reunite with her original husband who was waiting for her all these years.

2. Five actually teleports away now that he had powers and saves (y/n) from being hurt. He calms her down and tells her everything will be ok. She nods and lets Five teleport them again so he could take her somewhere safe. He lands on the front yards of his mansion when he and (y/n) gets ambushed by the sparrow kids. He tries to fight them off, hearing (y/n) scream out for him as some of them take her away from him and he tries to save her. The Sparrow kids found out about (y/n)'s immortality and had hunted her down to capture her. Five couldn't fight them off as he bounced around with his powers which soon drained. He collapses on the floor with bruises and cuts, reaching an arm out for (y/n) as she was taken away from him. The last thing he saw was her crying for him before he passes out.

Years go by and (y/n) is found standing in front of the Skonovian palace once more, rebuild in its once beautiful glory and her memories let her see her past once more with her playing with the royal family again. She was older now, a few wrinkles here and there but she was still as beautiful as the day Five had lost her. She was still beautiful to him and he was still in love with her all these years as he sees her and walks towards her. It had been years since he found her, trying to find her and track down the sparrow kids to save her. He calls for her, hope in his heart that this woman would be his love he was searching for.

(y/n) turns around and she smiles, tears falling down her face after years of searching for Five. She had managed to escape from the Sparrow kids, journeying back to the Hargreev Mansion in the small village as soon as she could to find out they had moved. She was left behind once more, her library now a decrepit and forgotten building as was the mansion. (y/n) moved again from the town with all her belongings and the goal to look for Five when she found a rose and a single note for him with an address for her to find him.

The two searched for each other for years, finally finding each other once more at the very place where it all started for their Love Story.
