Chapter 13: Face to Face

 King Eric POV

I walk out from my bedroom,silently as a cat.I can not hear any gunshot,the only sound I can hear is the alarm.

But when I reach the corridor,a violent sight greets me.

Bodies of  guards and maids are lying on the floor.The floors and wall are stained with blood.

But then I remembered something and I heave a huge shigh of relief. 

Whoever he or she is,he/she uses bullets coated with silver nitrate solution,he/she probably snatches his/her weapon from our palace guards.Nitrate coated bullets can not kill a vampire but it can knock them out for 5 hours.

But how one man caused this amount of damage?

I take out my phone ,trying to call Rockford,but suddenly a sound alerts me.

Human heartbeat mixed with sound of foot.

The sound coming towards me from the other side of the  corridor.Then I see him.

A man of age thirty. Egyptian or from middle east.

His dress is full of holes,caused by bulletts,but there isn't a single wound in his body.

And in his hand.....a M4 carbine.

His black eyes is like boring a hole in my body.It is..... hypnotizing will be the correct term to describe it.

 Suddenly he jumps towards the door in his right side,shattering it into pieces and he runs into the room.

OH MY GOD!!!

That room is connected with mine and Ashley's bedroom with a door.

I run into the room only to find the other door is broken apart.Then I hear the gunshots from my bedroom and then the scream of Dr Harrison.

I run to my bedroom,and see the doctors body lying on the floor,unconscius.

My eyes immidietly rolled over the bed.The man is standing beside the bed,looking at her.

"Don't touch her,you bastard!!!!!!!"a ferocius growl erupted from my throat,and my finger presses the trigger of my MP7.

 A wave of bullets hit him on his back,causing him to fall over on my wife's body.Then he jumps from the bed and looks at me,pure hatred in his eyes.

I again fired some shots,causing multiple wounds in his torso.

Then I see something.

Blood is pouring from his wounds,but it is not red ike humans.It is.......BLUE!!!!

BLUE???

BLUE???

The I see his blood is changing colour,from blue to red.

Then his wounds start healing.In a second his body becomes normal,without a scratch.

"What are you?"the words escape from my mouth without me knowing.

He just looks at me and runs towards the door.I tried to run after him but a a sound stops me.

A light moan.....a female voice.

I look at the bed,which is the direction of the sound.

The blackness which covered my body is now decreasing rapidly.In a minute,her body changes from black to pale white.

Then she opens her beautiful eyes and looks at me.

"Eric?"
