It was midnight and Sagarika was in deep slumber. All the Pandavas were gathered around her, smiling as they watched her sleep peacefully.

"This forest is full of lions, one of us must stay awake for entire night." Sehdev said.

"I am Nidrajeet, I shall stay awake." Arjun said.

"You need rest Bhratashree." Nakul said.

"We can take turns to stay awake." Bheem said.

"Bheem is right, you all sleep and I shall stay awake for the time being." Yudhishtir said.

"As you say jyesht." The Pandavas said.

Soon except Yudhishtir, all of them were fast asleep. He was sitting beside Sagarika's head looking out for any danger.

He looked at Sagarika and sighed, how he wished she could be his.

'No you shouldn't think like that Yudhishtir ! She is your younger brother's love ! Its not righteous, its a sin !' Yudhishtir mentally scolded himself and turned his gaze to the other side.

'Why do I still want her ? Why am I desperate for her touch ? Desperate for a embrace when I know it can never happen ?' Yudhishtir thought looking back at her.

'Its fine, I'll be over it soon.' Yudhishtir assured himself.

"Jyesht ?" Bheem whispered.

"Yes ?" Yudhishtir looked at him.

"You can sleep, I'll take over now." Bheem said.

"Okay." Yudhishtir nodded and lied down next to his brothers and soon sleep took over him.

Bheem looked around for any possible threats and his gaze fell on Sagarika, sleeping soundly. He sat beside her, staring at her beautiful face.

He saw a lock of hair on her face as he was about to move it away, Bheem stopped himself.

'Don't just don't. The real reason you want to touch her is unrighteousness.' Bheem controlled himself.

'But how can one resist when the beauty of the three worlds is right in front of them ? Even the sages cannot resist themselves and I am a mere prince. NO BHEEM ! Control yourself ! She is Arjun's love and you have no place in her life !' Bheem scolded himself.

"Bhratashree, you may sleep now I'll take over." Nakul said.

"Surely." Bheem said and went back to sleep.

Nakul started looking everywhere, super alert about his surroundings and then he heard something stir, he looked back and saw Sagarika turning to the side.

And that's how all his attention was diverted at her and her only. He went towards her and knelt beside looking at her face.

'Just as beautiful in the inside as in the outside. Such pity I couldn't make her mine. But its good for her anyway, she will marry the Narottam, the best among men, the greatest archer and Vibhatsu, the fairest warrior. I am nothing compared to Bhrata Arjun, no where near his perfection.' Nakul thought.

'Only the perfect man deserves a perfect girl like her.' Nakul thought and turned his gaze away.

Soon Sehdev woke up offering to watch and Nakul went back to sleep. Sehdev looked at Sagarika and sighed.

'I wish I could be the Nal of this Damiyanti. No you shouldn't think like that Sehdev ! She is your elder brother's love.' Sehdev thought.

He then diverted his gaze and started looking at the stars and the constellations. Their positions told him something that he couldn't believe.

'Sagarika and I ? Surely I must be mistaken. My desperate mind is making this up probably. I must not lose my austerity at any cost.' Sehdev was in denial.

"Sehdev." Arjun called bringing Sehdev out of his thoughts.

"You alright ?" Arjun asked.

"Y-yes. J-just getting sleepy." Sehdev said nervously.

"No problem. I will take over now." Arjun said.

"Surely." Sehdev said and went back to sleep.

Arjun sat beside Sagarika, and saw her stirring, clearly uncomfortable. He lightly placed her head on his lap, careful not to wake her up.

He caressed her hair and saw Sagarika relaxing. Arjun smiled at the delicate and tender beauty of hers.

'Once you're mine and I am yours, I will cherish you forever.' Arjun thought.
