♡ Sam's Wings

So I have a few problems... not like actually dilemmas, but more like my obsession with Sabriel and wing kinks...

Anyways...

"Saaaaaaaaaaaaaam!" called Dean in a whiny voice. "Cas is acting weird!"

Sam, who had been lying in bed, groaned. Dean had left him alone for most of the day since his back was giving him a bit of a hard time, but apparently he needed to get up now.

He pushed himself to his feet, almost falling over. It was like there was some sort of weight on his back.

Sam stumbled over to the mirror. He gasped when his eyes locked into his back, where there were three pairs of soft brown wings.

"Cas!" he shrieked, bolting from his room. Well, attempting to. He wasn't used to having the wings.

That meant he collided with the door.

"Son of a Swedish nutcracker!" he exclaimed from the floor, rubbing his head.

Dean came darting around the corner and kicked the door open. It smacked against Sam and he squeaked again.

"Dude, what's wrong with you and why don't you swear properly?" he asked, giving Sam a look. Did he not notice the wings?

Apparently not.

Cas appeared behind Dean. "What's th-" He broke off with a gasp and a squeal. "I KNEW IT!"

The Winchesters sent their gazes to the angel, who was dancing about the room in a very un-Cas-like fashion.

"I called it!" he was yelling. "Who was right? Me! Pay up suckers!" Cas laughed maniacally. "Y'all can rot in the Cage, because Castiel won!"

He seemed to sense the bewildered looks he was receiving because he suddenly stopped and cleared his throat. "My apologies," he muttered.

Dean blinked. "What just happened?"

Cas grinned. "I will tell you momentarily, but first I need to talk to someone."

Gabe was chilling in his house when he heard Cassie's shouting. He turned on his angel radio in time to catch him saying something about him winning a bet.

"Brother!"

That wasn't angel radio. He turned around in his chair to see his little brother behind him. Cas was grinning like a loon, his blue eyes even brighter than normal.

"I had faith," he began happily, "and it was correct! I am so ecstatic for you, brother."

Gabe's eyebrows furrowed. "What?"

Cas's grin fell. "You did not tell Sam?"

He froze. "Explain," he whispered, his eyes wide. There were only a handful of things that this could be, and every one of them terrified him.

"Your mark," Cas said, tilting his head.

Gabe paled. "He's straight, Cassie. Even if I had intentionally marked him, his body would have rejected it."

"Sam loves you," Cas said in a matter-of-fact tone. "Please make him and yourself happy, brother." He wrapped his arms around Gabe and then disappeared.

Gabe gulped. Sam actually loved him? He had a chance?

***

By the time Cas returned, Dean and Sam were sitting on the couch in the living room, trying to explain to the eldest Winchester what his wings were like.

"I told you," Sam said with a sigh. "Three pairs. Brown. Get it?"

Dean nodded. "I won't believe it until I see it, but fine, Sammy."

A fluttering of wings sounded Cas's arrival. Beside him was a motor bike and he was adorned in leather.

Dean's jaw dropped and it took everything Sam had not to laugh at his brother's obvious lust. Come on, grow a pair already, why don't you?

"What's with the outfit, Cas?" Sam asked for Dean, since he was trying to sneakily place a pillow on his lap.

Cas striked a violent pose. "Misha and Jensen - two of my nice brothers who became human because they fell in love and didn't want Heaven judging them all the time - bet against me. They gave me this as a winning."

Dean snapped out of his strance. "I know those two," he said, coughing. "No wonder you're acting weird. You've been around those two too much."

Cas shrugged. He then turned to Sam. "There's a certain angel that should be visiting." He raised his voice slightly. "And if he doesn't, he'll have to deal with a pissed off brother!"

There was a dip in the back of the couch at the same time Sam heard a fluttering noise. "Trust me when I tell you that an angry Cassie is not something you ever want to see," commented a familiar voice.

Sam whipped around and tackled the archangel, leaping over the side and sending them to the floor. Gabe laughed as he was pinned by an overly affectionate moose.

"Heya, Samich," he whispered. Their eyes met for a moment and Sam held his breath, hoping that Gabe would do something.

Gabe didn't know, but Sam had fallen for him. Hard.

The angel's eyes left his own, drifting to where Sam knew his wings were. Gabe smiled a tiny bit. "Cassie wasn't bluffing, then."

Sam tilted his head, waiting for an explanation.

Gabe closed his eyes and let his head fall against the ground. "I didn't mean to mark you, Sam," he said. Sam cringed at Gabe using his real name. It sounded wrong.

"What?"

"I mean, I wanted to mark you, but I knew I never could." Gabe opened his eyes and stared at Sam, the depths of them plagued by sadness.

Sam frowned. "Marked?"

The angel bit his lip. "When an angel marks a human, they get a replication of one of their angel's traits. That's why you have three wings." He looked awkward and now their gazes didn't quite match up.

Sam was ecstatic. "Is marking a sign of love?" he inquired, wanting to be sure.

Gabe slowly nodded. "Yes, Sam, it-" He was cut off by the moose leaning down so that their chests were pressed together and connecting their lips softly.

"I love you, Gabe," Sam whispered, pulling away the slightest bit to utter the words. "You're the biggest idiot, not thinking that I did, but I love you anyway."

Gabe grinned. "Good thing I really love you too," he smarted, winking. He reached up and pulled Sam back down again.

Sam drew away again after a minute, needing air. Besides, he still had a question. "Has Cas marked Dean?"

Gabe laughed. "Not yet, but I'm pretty sure that when he does, he'll do a lot more head tilting and his speach will be a little wacked."

"He won't get wings?"

He shook his head. "He could, but it's awfully rare. No wonder you got them."

Sam flushed and swatted Gabe's arm.

"Hey!" the angel exclaimed. "Just for that..." He grinned mischeviously and snaked his hand around Sam, running his fingers over his wings.

Sam jumped and bit back a moan. "What the hell?" he breathed out, pupils blown wide."

Gabe kissed his nose. "Welcome to being in love with an angel, Sammy."

I've been in this fluff mood. I haven't been able to write anything serious and if I try to, it turns into tooth rooting fluff.

I'm thinking of writing a Sabriel fic that stars Gabe being Gabe as his normal, angelic tricking self but as a teenager, and Sam being an emo kid with a knack for pranks, especially when it comes to revenge.

It would have background Destiel in it, as well as Michifer. There's going to be a few parallels, a lot of wall breaks, an OC that helps to spread the fluffy chaos, and a whirlwind romance tHAT IS GONNA END HAPPY.

No angst on this one.

If you want angst, go read my Phanfic.

Stay tuned for more weirdness from me.

Caio! Love you guys so much!!!
