♡ Crossover #1
So this idea came to me while I was half way focused on taking pics of Homecoming stuff. And when I thought it, I also thought, Troyler and Sabriel? Is there much better?
Therefore, enjoy seeing Tilly flirt with Moose. *Fangirls die*
The ages have all been switched to nineteen, just for the convenience. There's a few differences, well a lot, but you'll catch on quick.
Sam wasn't the happiest. His best friend had dragged him out to a bar. And not just any bar - one where they could drink.
Gabe was apparently close with the owner and her son, so they could have all the drinks they wanted without getting caught and without paying. It didn't sit very well with Sam, but the shorter teen wasn't complaining.
So here he sat, watching a slightly tipsy Gabe dance in the crowd. A part of him wished that he'd come and ask the moose, but he knew that it wasn't ever going to happen. Best friends didn't exactly fall for their friends, no matter how gay they happened to be.
"Hey, Sam," commented the bartender. He'd met him earlier. Tyler, was it? "You doing ok?"
Sam blinked and put on a smile. "Yeah, why?" he asked, knowing his sadness was creeping into his voice.
Tyler smirked. "You and Gabe seem to have a really good connection," he commented. "I've never heard Gabe talk about anyone as much as he has you."
The moose shrugged. "He's the best friend I have," he replied.
Raising an eyebrow, the bartender snorted, "Yeah, and I'm not in love with my own best friend."
Sam's eyes widened. "What?"
"Look, Sam, I see the way you look at him. I notice because he looks at you the same way." Tyler smiled and glanced at Gabe, who was currently laughing as he danced with Charlie and a really familiar looking guy that was tall (but not Sammy tall) with light brown hair and a jumper.
Sam bit his lip and flicked his eyes over to them for a second. "How do I...?"
"Get with that?" Tyler giggled. "I have an idea, but I don't know if you'll be ok with it."
Sam sighed. If he wanted Gabe....
"Tell me," he said, making up his mind.
As if he was expecting this, Tyler cracked a grin. "Gabe is dancing with Troye. If you and I dance, we'll pretend to flirt, and then we'll both have our guys."
Sam pursed his lips. Tyler's plan was a classic, and it would work. Probably.
"Fine, babe," he relented, rolling his eyes.
Tyler laughed. "Now we're cooking!"
He held up his finger suddenly, motioning for Sam to wait. Tyler straightened up and yelled, "Hey Korey, take up the bar!"
"Go get 'em, son!" was yelled back.
The short boy turned back to Sam happily. "Come on, then," he said, wiggling his eyebrows playfully.
Sam laughed and allowed Tyler to drag him out onto the dance floor. Dance Dance by Fall Out Boy was playing as he pushed through the crowd, the two of them making sure they were close to where Gabe and Troye were.
Tyler gave him a look and began dancing, urging Sam to follow.
He did.
And it was the best decision he'd made.

Gabe was pissed to say the least. He was jealous and mad and wanted to throw a rock at Tyler while cuddling and kissing the oblivious moose beside him. He could feel the aforementioned guy's eyes on him as they sat in Sam's car.
"What's the matter?" Sam asked. As if HE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW!
Gabe took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. Putting on a smile, he said, "Nothing, Sam."
His eyebrows raised and he tilted his head. His eyes gleamed with worry. "You only call me Sam when you're mad, Gabe," he pointed out softly.
The smaller of the two slumped in the seat. "I'm not mad," he stated. Did his voice show that he was a little mad? Yes, yes it did.
Sam frowned. "Want to talk?"
Gabe shrugged. "There's nothing to talk about."
With a small sigh, the moose put his car - mind you, it was a plum crazy Plymouth Cuda - into gear and started down the road.
They lived in a smaller town. The newer part of it was more the business and club side of it, while everyone tended to live on the other side, in the slightly older houses. This gave the two of them fifteen minutes of sitting in the car, each thinking.
When they stopped at Sam's house, the two of them went in, still not saying a word. They passed Dean and Cas cuddled on the couch, and for once, they didn't even think about taking a picture of the two "best friends." They were too absorbed in their dilemmas.
Gabe tossed himself onto Sam's bed and the moose simply stood against the now closed door. "Gabe," Sam called, giving him a pointed look.
"Did you have fun with Tyler?" he blurted, cringing the second the words fled from his mouth.
Sam froze momentarily, then a smile slowly graced his features. "Yeah, I did. He's really attractive."
Gabe felt his heart begin to shatter. To make matters worse, Sam only continued, "He's got this personality that anyone would love, and his laugh is really adorable."
Emo Trinity spirits, kill him now.
Sam came over to the bed and sat on it, facing Gabe. He was hyperaware of the taller's presence near him.
"He and Troye will make the cutest couple ever," Sam finished.
Gabe bolted into a sitting position. "What?"
Sam laughed and glanced down. Their eyes met and Gabe's breathing hitched from the intensity they held. "Tyler and I became fast friends," he told him, "and he helped me with a plan so that I could get the guy I fell for to like me, too."
Sam loved someone? Gabe bit the inside of his cheek to keep from letting out the tormented scream he really wanted to let loose. "Oh?" he choked out, his voice small.
"Yeah." Gabe didn't notice that Sam had scooted closer. "He's this ball of energy that could bring even the shiest out of their shells."
Closer.
"His eyes are the strangest and most wonderful ones I've ever seen. A color that no one can really place that always changes on his moods."
Closer.
"I met him and my world changed. We were friends first, and I never thought I had a chance. I still don't. But a guy can only try, right?"
Then Sam's lips were pressed to Gabe's softly, hesitantly. Gabe shuddered at the feel, shocked, but once it registered, he launched himself onto Sam, charging the kiss with a passion accepted by them both.
His mind completely fell away at that moment. All he knew was that Sam, the boy he'd fallen all too far for, was right here with him, exactly how he'd always wanted.
Kissing him wasn't like fireworks. It wasn't like a dam broke, either. Rather, it was loving and tasted oh so slightly of alcohol. Gabe could only describe it as a lifeboat, a drug, an instant reassurance.
Their lips disconnected in slow motion, stretching into a grin as they watched each other.
"You have all the chances in the world, Sammy," Gabe whispered. "Only you."
I was fangirling literally the entire time I wrote this. But before I completely end this one shot...
Hours later, when the sun was beginning to come up, Sam got a call.
"Hello?"
"Thank you," came the voice of a certain bartender.
