◇ Breadsticks
I was browsing through memes like I do, because I'm trash, and I found something similar to this. Y'all know about the infamous breadsticks, right?
If you don't, you sure will now! Castiel and Dean are both bi, and Gabe and Sam are gay, in case anyone gave me weird looks for them not saying anything.

Castiel sat down with the girl he'd been crushing on for a year, ever since he moved to Sioux Falls. They were at some random restaurant that just so happened to serve breadsticks as a complimentary appetizer.
They'd just ordered drinks and were now into a pleasant conversation, getting to know each other.
"So do you like YouTube?" Cas asked her, a smile on his face.
She shook her head. "Not really. My friend made me watch Connor Franta once and I didn't like it very much."
Castiel, appauled by such an insult that was very personal to him, stood abruptly. "I'm sorry, but I have somewhere to be," he said, taking his giant pink purse and shoving the breadsticks inside.
Meg just stared at him as he rushed out, neither of them bothering to say anything else. They both knew it was over before it had begun.

Here Dean was, walking into his favorite restaurant with Lisa, the prettiest girl in school. He was ecstatic to be with her and was really praying for this to go well.
He ordered some breadsticks and they began to talk about random things.
"So what kind of bands do you like?" Dean asked.
Lisa grinned. "I love Panic at the Disco and Fall Out Boys. Brandon Urie is amazing!"
He stared at her, shocked. The improper way of saying their names made him disgusted and he stood up, loudly pushing back his chair.
Dean heaved his pink purse onto the table and shoved breadsticks in. "This isn't going to work out."

Gabriel was sure this guy would be the one. He'd been talking to him for three months now, and they'd finally decided to meet up in person tonight.
Of course, he knew what he was expecting. They would talk on Skype almost every day, and if not there they'd text, so they'd become pretty close.
Gabe had finally gotten up the nerve to ask him out two days ago.
The guy was already sitting at a table, and he waved Gabe over excitedly, his moose figure looking large in comparison to the table.
Grinning, Gabe slid into his chair. "Hey, Sammy!" he greeted brightly.
"You look really good, Gabe," Sam complimented, tilting his head ever so slightly as his eyes wandered the other man's body and face.
Gabe's cheeks heated. "Thanks."
"You never did tell me if you thought your brother would get along with mine," Sam pointed out.
"I didn't?"
"Nope."
Gabe grinned. "Cassie would love Dean," he assured. "I think he'd love him just as much as I love you."
His eyes widened as he realized that he'd said that out loud. Sam smiled at him and leaned forward.
"I don't think Dean could love Cas quite as much as I love you," Sam murured. "Because I really do love you."
Gabe blushed and his eyes flickered down to Sam's lips. "I love you that much," he muttered, a small smirk on his features.
The moose tsked. "That sounds like a challenge." With that, Sam closed the gap between them, their first kiss a gentle heat.

Cas groaned. He really hadn't wanted to go on another date, but Gabe had talked him into it. Apparently he had it in his head that this guy would be the one for him.
Lies. We're all full of lies. Gabe especially.
He sat down at the table, having arrived a little early. Soon enough, a man his age came and sat across from him.
"Are you Castiel?" the blonde asked kind of nervously.
He nodded. "I assume you're Dean?"
"That's me."
A waitress came and went, their drinks now sitting on the table as they built up the courage to talk to each other.
"So," they began at the same time. They paused, eyes wide, until they fell into giggles.
Cas regained his composure first. "I was going to ask if you liked YouTube," he said, hoping he'd get a better answer from Dean.
"I do!" Dean's eyes lit up. "Especially Connor." He bit his lip. "What do you think about Fall Out Boy?"
Cas scoffed and Dean looked alarmed for a second. "They're the greatest band ever," Cas replied as if it was obvious.
The two men whistled. "I thought I was gonna have to take the breadsticks and run," Dean told him, relieved.
Cas gasped. "You do that to?"
The rest of the night was filled with them opening up to each other. And they realized, quite cheesily, that they were going to last.
I'm so tired and sick rn it's not even funny, so my writing has kinda been reflecting that cheesy deliriousness.
