Epilogue

"Alright you can open your eyes." I do so eagerly. Before me is something wonderful. My eyes widen.

"Wow!" I feel tears forming in my eyes. "Sebastian, how..." I practically slam against him into a hug. He wraps his arms around me. "Is this a dream?" I whisper this against his chest, and I feel a small laugh come over his body.

"No, this is the real."

"I-" I kiss him and turn back around to look at the tree house, my favorite place in the world. I run to it feeling just like a kid again. It's just as I remember it, except that it looks newly painted. It's sturdier, and the ladder is kind of different. I climb up the ladder. When I climb in, I see Trent sitting there. The tears are openly spilling down my cheeks.

"Trent!" I crawl over to him and hug him. We sit like this for a little while. We hang out here for a while. I go to my husband and Trent leaves.

"Sebastian?"

"Nia?"

"Did I ever tell you that I love that you're my husband?" His eyes twinkle with happiness.

"Hmm, I don't know..." I frown playfully and kiss him. "Nia?"

"Yeah?"

"Did I ever tell you that I love that you're my wife?" I look into his eyes and smile. My life couldn't be happier.
