So I'm hoping I can add some perspective to the controversies that we haven't heard. But no matter what, please don't get offended by anything I say. I'll try not to offend you as well.

So... the election happened.

Trump vs. Clinton. Oldie vs. Oldie. Bad vs. Bad. Basically doom for the whole nation. My only question is why not Bernie.

But at the end Trump won. This was just news to me, because I don't watch the news. I don't trust media, so Trump was essentially just some reality TV Show host, and Clinton was just another lady who's husband used to be a president.

But I'm not stupid either. I know Clinton deleted some emails and rigged the primaries against Bernie, and Trump has the foul mouth of a sailor and wants to build a huge wall that apparently Mexico is going to fund. Not to mention the tiny details of their personal lives - that's another story.

When I found out Trump is president, I didn't get upset or happy. In four years, this would happen again, and life would go on. To be honest, I spent more time ranting about how we wouldn't be able to see Bill Clinton in a girl's dress than ranting about the president. I'm sure I would've been the same way even if Clinton had won.

I was okay for a while, even through the alleged anti-Trump rallies, yelling and frustration, and dearth of other topics.

But then I saw Twitter.

There were videos of people CRYING, literally bawling because Trump is our new president. Moms throwing kids out of the house for their political opinions. Basic inhumane SHIT thanks to our president not being the one we wanted it to be.

Which is where I ask you - when did we all start throwing tantrums when we didn't get what we wanted? When did we give such SHAME to our country?!

I am enraged because I saw this protest, where a man holds a sign saying to rape Melania. Since when have a become such lowlifes, such hurtful, inhumane, unethical beings that we match around in the streets spewing crap?

If you lived in Canada or India or even Russia, you'd be glad you don't live in America- which is so sad. Where did all that pride go? It's not there anymore, Americans! Anything we had to vouch for ourselves left when we started this Twitter war.

Instead of trying to change something we can't, we should band together and stay strong at a time like this. When the nation is already going to be changed and could turn bad, why screw it up already?

I know nobody's gonna read this, since after all, I'm just some random teenager from the internet. But I'm asking you to please stop the hate.
