Taehyung's POV

For as long as I can remember I've been locked inside this house. My mother hated looking at me since I reminded her so much of my father who left her for another woman. She made sure to keep me locked up, so she would not have to see me. However, she did find someone to look after me so she wasn't locked away for not taking care of me.

Today the person who takes care of me, Dara, came in with my cake. Today is my 18th birthday. I receive good news from her. "Tae guess what?" I nod slightly, showing that I'm interested despite my lack of response.

"Since you have turned 18 you can finally leave this house and go somewhere away from here."

At her words, I jump up excited. "Really?! I can leave?!" She nods but gently shushed me.

"You have to be careful though since your mom won't want to see your face. Also, I can't help you since I myself will be leaving and far away from here."

I nod and she leaves. I decided to put my things inside a small leather bag that I have to take with me. I don't have a lot of things but I do have things to take like clothes and money which Dara has been giving me over the years. I know I'm naive since I've never been outside but I do have knowledge from books that Dara would give me. My mother never let the world know that I existed, so no internet for me.

That night I sneak out of the house. I don't even look back because I won't miss it. Luckily I don't run into my mother. I wonder whether she will even realize that I'm gone. Well even if she does, she won't come looking for me. She won't miss me at all. I grin for one of the few times in my pathetic excuse of a life. Finally, I will get to see what the world is like. However, it may take some time seeing as to how we live far away from the city.

I don't know how much time has passed, but I finally arrive at a huge bridge that crosses a huge body of water. On the other side of the bridge is the city. I look at all the lights amazed. It's so much for a sheltered teenager to take in.

When I finally finish crossing the bridge people are moving about. I don't know what to do or where to go but since I'm hungry I walk into a little café. Since I'm new to the world I don't know what to do.

The barista notices that I look confused. "Hello my name is Kim Seokjin and I work here but you can call me Jin for short."

"Umm... hi my name is Kim Taehyung but Dara called me Tae..."

"Well Tae you look a bit lost do you need help?"

I don't know why, but this stranger is being nice. I decide to tell this stranger everything. He listens attentively and promises to help me. He tells me to stay in the café with him until he finds someone he trusts to help me.

I stay there for three hours and he approaches me. "Tae would you mind being with my friend? His name is Jeon Jungkook. I used to room with him but I've recently moved out since I moved in with my boyfriend Kim Namjoon."

I take everything in. I'm innocent and don't know that people usually frown on gay people. I just accept what Jin tells me. "Ok Jin I don't mind..."

"Great he'll come in, in about 15 minutes. "

Fifteen minutes pass by very quickly. I wait nervously for the person named Jungkook. I don't really know how to deal with new people. Do I act nervous like I did with Jin? Nah probably not. Then how does one act? I have no clue but I guess I'll just wing it.

The café is pretty empty. I look at the clock and I realize that 20 minutes have passed. Then the door opens abruptly and the bells ring loudly announcing the arrival of someone... I look up and see someone that can only be described as in books, drop-dead gorgeous.

He has raven black hair, beautiful milky white skin. His skin looks smooth and soft. He has muscles and I see veins in his arms and hands. His cute, small, button nose. His beautiful, thin, pink, soft, kissable lips. I make myself stop there. I know enough about my own likes and body to know that if I don't stop there my hormones will make my friend down there react. Dara a bit embarrassed explained about it when I first hit puberty so I know enough.

I hope this isn't Jungkook because looking at him the way I just did will make me awkward when I face him.

"Jungkook you finally arrived!" Jin hugs the raven-haired boy lightly. FML, it really is Jungkook oh well...

"Oh, Jungkook I want you to meet someone who can be your new roommate!"

Jin drags Jungkook to where I'm sitting. "Tae this is Jungkook, Kookie this is Taehyung."

Jungkook looks at me and smiles lightly. My heart skips a beat at his beautiful bunny-like smile. But I shake it off and flash my rare box-like smile back.

Jin makes us sit down and talk while he keeps working. I tell Jungkook everything and fall into a comfortable place with him. He in turn talks to me about himself.

A/N Annyeong my dear beautiful readers... this story is a short story and this is my first time trying to write a short story so excuse me if it's not too good? Anyways... lately I've tried to get better at editing... it's not working too well but I'm trying. I hope you all enjoyed this chapter and I hope to publish another tomorrow.
