For Us
I'm sorry this chapter is shitty and short. I'm still trying to see if I want to kill a certain character or not. I haven't made my mind up yet.

Soon the group arrives to the valley where the old man prophesized. Kilgarrah landed, and looked at Izusa, who was with the old man.
"You found another dragon?" Kilgarrah asked Merlin.
"She was chained in a whole. Her tail is a little bent, but overall she's as healthy as can be." Merlin told him. They climbed off of Kilgarrah, and walked around the valley. Izusa flew down, and checked Kilgarrah out. Ebony hopped down the mountain to Merlin, and joyfully rubbed her face on Merlin.
Merlin closed his eyes, and became connected to the valley. He could feel the magical force again, but it was stronger now. Merlin started to walk in one direction, and connected with the force. Arthur, Gwain, Lancelot, Percival, Kilgarrah, Izusa, Ebony, and the old man watched Merlin walk away from them. Merlin looked both lost, and on track. His face read confusion, but his stride read purpose.
As Merlin was a couple hundred yards away, he stopped. The others watched him look around, then to the ground. He got onto his hands and knees, and seemed to listen to the ground.
Merlin held his ear to the ground. He could faintly hear his name. It was quietly calling out to him, drawing him closer. Merlin dug a small whole, then listened again. It didn't seem like an object that was calling him, but maybe a spirit of some sort. Merlin thought for a moment, but he couldn't realize what to do. Nothing popped into his head. He just heard his name.
Suddenly his mind was bombarded by Kilgarrah's voice, echoing in his subconscious.
'Listen closely and you will know what to do. Concentrate, and all will be revealed.' Kilgarrah spoke to him. Merlin took his advice, and sat onto the ground, sitting on his legs.
The others looked at him weirdly. He looked like he was thinking very hard.
Merlin thought very hard, and then the echoing voice changed.
'Call them.' It said. 'Connect to their minds, and you will be able to speak to them. Just ask for help, and they will come.' It told him.
Merlin placed his palms onto the ground, and felt his magical energy seep into the ground, and disperse through. He could feel the hundreds of connections, from past Camelot, past Cendred's kingdom, past Stavia Empire. He felt so many connections to so many kind hearted people. He spoke.
As the group watched, they could feel the earth shake slightly, like a very light earthquake. They could feel a weird sensation. Like they had something to do. Like they were in the right place at the right time, helping the right person.
When Merlin finished, he disconnected himself, and collapsed onto the ground. He could not feel the people's spirit anymore thankfully, but the call wore him out immensely. The group rushed over to him, and Arthur crouched down.
"Are you okay?" He asked. Merlin nodded very lightly, while laying down.
"I'm so tired. I just need to rest. Just for a moment." He faintly said. Merlin's eyes closed, and Lancelot noticed his chest stopped moving. Lancelot told him, and Arthur held his ear to Merlin's chest. His heart had stopped.
"His heart stopped." He told them. They waited for a minute or two, and Merlin woke up gasping. He spent another minute recollecting the events of the day, then he was up onto his feet with new found energy.
"When in doubt, kill yourself and try again. At least that'll be my motto for awhile." Merlin joked. Everyone shared a little laugh. It seems that every time Merlin died and came back, he was a bit cheerful in the beginning.
Merlin walked to the three who seemed to be bonding.
"Has your energy depleted?" Kilgarrah asked him. Merlin shook his head.
"Nope. Just died and came back. I'm not hungry, thirsty, or tired anymore." Merlin told him proudly.
"Yes well I guess that is one perk to immortality. As many times as you can die, you can wake up rejuvenated." He pointed out.
"All I need is my staff and I will be back in business." Merlin said. Merlin thought for a moment, and started to panic.
"Where's the staff?" Merlin asked. Arthur's eyes widened.
"Oh shit. We left it back at the creek." Arthur said. The others were panicking. But before Merlin could jump onto Ebony and ride away, he saw something float down from the mountain top.
Standing at the top, was the old man. And he was levitating an object down to them. It was his staff, incased in a yellow glow. As Merlin reached into the air to grab it, the glow disappeared, and the staff dropped into his hands. Merlin sent a connection to the man, thanking him, then disconnected.
"So what is going to happen?" Percival asked.
"The people will be here. But I also think Morgana's army will come here as well. I can feel a negative energy cluster coming close to us, but I can also feel a positive energy cluster. Hopefully we have enough people to match the other army." Merlin told them. He turned to Kilgarrah.
"I need you to hide out into the mountains until I give you the signal. We don't want them running away before the fight starts."
He turned to Ebony and Izusa.
"Ebony. You act as Arthur's horse since we left them in the woods. Fight along with him, but keep him safe. Izusa. You will bring me to the top of the mountain, and you can hide with Kilgarrah until I give the signal." He told the two creatures. They seemed to understand.
"Well I guess this is our not so glorious start." Gwain joked awkwardly. Kilgarrah flew away behind the mountain.
"I guess everyone fight till you drop. It will all be over soon." Lancelot said. Percival nodded to that. Arthur stood next to Merlin, and grabbed his hand.
"We will fight for Camelot." Arthur said.
"No. We will fight for Albion." Merlin interjected, making Arthur smile. They hugged each other one more time, not wanting to let go. Even the others hugged each other. Arthur brought Merlin's chin up slightly, and gave him a long kiss, then separated.
"I've got something I've got to do before we get to battling." Arthur told him. He let go, and backed up. He popped down onto one knee, and pulled something out of his pocket. Merlin watched stunned, and the others watched nervously. Arthur held a single gold wedding band.
"Merlin. I know you don't have a last name. But would you like mine? To be King Merlin Pendragon?" Arthur asked. Merlin nodded his head quick, and jumped down to Arthur, kissing him.
"Yes!" Merlin exclaimed. Arthur laughed happily, and the others clapped and cheered. Arthur slipped the ring onto Merlin's finger, and hugged him again.
"So promise me that we'll get married as soon as we get back into the castle?" Arthur said.
"I promise." Merlin promised. They separated, and went their ways. The others stayed with Arthur and Ebony, while Merlin reluctantly climbed onto Izusa, and flew to the top of the mountain. Izusa abandoned him, and Merlin was left on his own with his staff.
He could feel very close opposing energies rush on opposite ends. It seemed that the positive force was even overpowering the negative. Then he saw it. Coming around the bend was Morgana's army, holding black flags, and he spotted Morgana riding on a jet black horse. He looked to the other end, and saw a group of misfits running around the bend. Many were on horses, and a lot of them shot sporadic spells into the air out of excitement. When they curved around the bend, they saw each other, and rushed forwards. Merlin watched anxiously as his friends where right in the middle of the clash.
Merlin held his staff out, and started his work.
"For Camelot. For Albion. For Arthur."
