Flashback Continues...

It was about evening time, and you both were still walking, entering the forest where it will be dark soon. They heard some noises coming out from the dense forest. "Hey!! I-It will be dark soon. Are you planning to walk like this?" You asked nervously.

"You're scared?" He asked. "N-No!!" You stuttered. "Then keep walking with me." He said. "Ok!! now leave my hand, I'm not a baby." You said. 'But you're!! for me!!' he said in his mind. "leave it, I can walk and still follow you." You said. He left your hand.

*Wolf howling sound* you both heard a wolf howling from deep inside the forest. You flinched at the noise and gasped loudly, holding his arm tightly. He didn't even flinch at the sound and said chuckling, "Done with your boldness? Now don't leave my hand for a second. God knows from where can wolves come and haunt you again." He laughed saying that as you rolled your eyes at him.

They continued walking from the deep forest. "Listen, we can't walk the whole night, It will be dangerous." Turning to the left, "There is an old shed, we can stay there tonight." He said explaining to you. "Hmm!" You nodded. *Grumbling sound* you both heard a grumbling sound. He looked at you as you looked at him flustered.

"It's not me!!" You said embarrassingly shooking your head in denial. "I forgot that you must be hungry. Wait a little more, I'll do something." He said with an assuring smile. "I told you na, It's not me." You whined walking behind him. 'She is cute.' He thought chuckling not letting you see him. "yeah yeah I know!!" he replied.

Both reached the old shed, it was about nighttime. The forest became dark and scary. Only Moonlight was giving them a reflection of each other. "I never know about this scary forest before, and this hut. Agh!! It's more scary." You said. "We have no other way to go, just think of your mom and be strong." He said.

"Eomma!! I don't even know if she's fine or not. She must be worrying about me a lot." You said in a sad tone looking down. "She must be fine. Don't worry." He said. He made you sit at an old table under the hut's shed. You were still in your school dress, your tie was loosened and your long black hair was messy, tied in a loose ponytail with a middle partition, leaving some flicks on your face.

"I'll go and find something to eat. so stay here." He said. "Hold on!!" You said grabbing his wrist. "Give me my bag." You continued as he did. You took out some snacks from your bag and handed him. "Hmm!! That's it." You said finally. He looked at the snacks and then at you in amazement.

"What? I'm fond of snacks, so I keep it in my bag and eat when I feel low or hungry, especially when I study." You said. He chuckled, "Are you serious? You eat all this junk food and still have maintained a good figure. Wow!!" He said. You looked at him with squinting eyes, "This junk food is saving yours and my life today. So eat up and don't comment on my figure." You said. He moved some strands of your hair from your face tugging behind your ear and said with an eye smile coming so close to your face, "Okay!! let's eat."

Both sat together and ate the snacks. You heard some voices from bushes and you flinched moving a little to his side. "wait... I'll go and check." He said, seemed like he knew who was there. You looked at him with worried eyes shooking your head in denial. "Don't worry, just stay here. I'll be back soon." He said. You nodded leaving his arm and he pressed his lips in a straight line before going. It was pretty dark there, so he got invisible in the dark. You were freaking out by that scary place, you were hearing noises too. But you remained still at your place.

He reached towards the bushes saying, "I told you to go from there, why are you following me?" He said. A man in a black suit appeared in front of him saying, "Sorry SIR, Boss called us, he ordered us to keep you safe." He said after bowing and looking down. "Do you have a gun?" He asked after nodding. "Yes!!" The man replied handing him his own gun. "Umm...Do you have a lighter too?" He asked. "She smokes?" The man asked. He glared at him back making him to shut his mouth. "Sorry sir, I thought you have never smoked but you asked for a lighter, here it is." He said handing him. "I need it to burn fire. We can't stay in the dark." He explained.

"uh..ok!!" the man scratched the back of his head nervously. "And yeah listen!!" He said going near to him and he told something to him in a low voice. "Got it?" He asked after telling him. "Yes sir. Don't worry we will be there." The man replied. "Hmm!! Go for now. leave us alone." He said as the man nodded and bowed in front of him before giving him some space.

The guy started moving back to you, as he made his way towards you. He heard something, A soothing voice reached his ears. He slowed down his steps identifying the voice. He looked at you from a distance, you were crouched down seated on the table like a ball, burying your face in your knees as you were singing a song. Your voice was so soothing, which even calmed down the noises of animals and insects coming down from dense forests. A smile formed on his lips as he listened to your singing.

He could relate to each and every word you sang, He listened to the lyrics but he was confused 'why you sang this?'. He started moving towards you and you stopped hearing the footsteps of him. You lifted your head upwards seeing the same man you met before. You immediately got up after seeing him and ran towards him but you stopped startling him.

"Who are you?" Someone carrying a rifle popped there. They were standing on either side of the man. He looked like a terrorist. Both were startled by his sudden appearance with a rifle. Both looked at each other while you were just scared out of hell looking at him having some hope, while he just processed what he has to do. He was worrying about you standing in front of him. That's it.

"I asked who are you? Why the hell you both are here?" He yelled pointing the rifle from him to you. You flinched at his voice. Your breath was heavy and audible to both of them. As he moved the point of his gun to you, He felt himself kicked to the ground. His rifle was just snatched by the guy, as he threw it far.

The terrorist was forced to protect himself as he pushed the man in front of him making him fall to the ground, he immediately hovered over the young guy, punching on his face. The corner of his soft plump lips started bleeding. The terrorist was trained and professional, but little did anyone know that the young guy with whom he is fighting has been trained too for years. He knows all tactics of fighting.

The guy raged in anger, forming his hand into a fist he punched back his face making him fall on the ground as his head hit the hard surface. The guy stood up running to him, seeing him a little dizzy he grab the collar of his jacket and said, "Don't dare to touch me again. I don't fucking care about if you're a terrorist or what. You will be dead if you would ever lay your eyes on my girl or me." He said in his deep and husky voice not audible to you as the terrorist regained his consciousness. His words made him shiver.

He left him with a jolt making him fall again. As he moved his hand back to his pants pulling out his gun keeping his gaze fiercely on him but stopped by, "Are you okay?" He heard a familiar and worried voice from a distance but not much.

He turned his head to you, nodding, assuring you and thinking, 'I can't pull out my gun now. Not in front of her.' He moved back his hand and eyed you clearly as he noticed you gasped but it was too late to understand as he felt himself being felled on the ground the next moment, hitting his head as the same man hovered over him choking him completely making his breath unstable. He struggled to get out of his grip but he couldn't identify how??

You got worried, as you thought of a way to get him free by the man. You looked here and there worriedly if you can found something. You ran towards the rifle, picking it up you soon identified that you don't know how to use it. But immediately you thought of something. You made your way tip-toeing towards them, as you hit the rifle with all your strength, straight into the terrorist's head. The hard surface of the rifle made him unconscious and he loosened his grip on the young boy.

He placed his hand on his head soon realising that he was bleeding. His vision slowly got blurred and then he was met by a blackout. The guy immediately got up seeing you in fear, you were trembling, and your hands too, you dropped the gun as your legs felt weak, and you stumbled only to be held by him.

"Y/n!!" He took out your name as you seemed lost not realising that you haven't told your name to him but he still knew that. You stood there like a ghost, as He pulled you into a hug and said in a calm voice, "It's okay!! We are safe now." He felt you were sobbing as he gently pushed you away only to see you crying.

"Hey!! We are safe." He said wiping your tears. You nodded before stating, "H-He is alive or not?" You asked pointing towards the man lying there like a dead corpse. He moved from you to him as he checked his nerves and his breath nearing his finger to his nostrils. "He's dead." He said not realising that it may be easy for him to listen to but not to you.

You palmed your face, falling on your knees saying, "I killed a man?" He identified that it's not easy for you to kill someone. You are a normal girl and not like him who is used to the word 'DEAD'. He approached you and kneeled down caressing your back, "You did nothing wrong. See we both are safe because you took the right action. He's a demon, your mother must be feeling unsafe because of him and his partners. Stop crying now." He said in a pleading voice and pulled you into his embrace.

"I never harmed someone before, and I killed..." Your voice trembled as you spoke. He felt himself trembling by your sobbing. His heart ached as you spoke in a trembling voice. "It's okay!! Humans kill insects too because they feel unsafe because of them. Though it is wrong, still they do this. Just thought you killed an insect, and this insect is not innocent himself." He said as his throat ached too by holding himself from crying.

You listened to him and sobbed for 2-3 minutes more in his arms. Both stayed quiet for a while, as he is caressing your back and you asked, "What took you so long to come back?" He hesitated and said, "Uh...I- I'm sorry. I was... never mind... I'm sorry for making you wait so long."

You pulled herself from his hug and looked deep into his eyes. He stared back asking, "What happened?" Without even blinking you said, "I was scared." and hugged him again, "I'm sorry." He apologized hugging you back and caressing your hair. "I was hearing noises from all sides. I was so scared that I started singing a song to ignore those noises." You said still in his embrace. "Oh!! That's why you were singing that song? You sing so well." He complimented.
You smiled in his embrace. 'One day you will get to know the meaning of this song.' He spoke in his mind.

He didn't get to know when you fell asleep in his arm. He was feeling the warmth of you in his embrace and was saying nothing. The moonlight falling on them enlightened the face of both of them. The calm nature was appreciating their beauty.
