Chapter 6
Yoongi
"I thought you said they were going to come!" I groaned out to Jungkook. We had been in the elevator in silence for about thirty minutes and I was getting impatient and uncomfortable.
"That's what they told me!" Jungkook screamed back. I sighed and decided to sit down on the floor instead of standing.
"What time is it?" I asked him more calmly. He pulled out his phone and showed it to me. His time said it was 8:42pm and I closed my eyes to try to conceal my anger. "I have work tomorrow, it's getting late." I said.
"Sorry for your loss of beauty sleep," Jungkook said sarcastically. "But I was supposed to be listening to music and falling asleep also." He said as he sat opposite of me.
A few minutes passed and I finally decided that I was officially bored. I had nothing else to do and I left my phone at work. So, I started a conversation with Jungkook.
"What kind of music do you listen to?" I asked him. He looked at me with a shocked expression before smiling at me. His eyes crinkled and he sat up straight.
"I make my own," He said "I find it easier to sleep with music that I actually can relate to."
My eyes widened and my mouth flew open. "You make music?" I asked, making Jungkook smile even more, if it's even possible.
"Yeah, wanna hear?" He asked and I smiled at him. Before I could show too much excitement, I fake coughed and looked away.
"Sure." I said as I played with my fingers. I was excited because I never met someone who enjoyed making music. I had always wanted to, but I never got the chance.
Jungkook got out his phone and started playing a song that I had never heard before. The music and rhythm was slow and soothing, calming the tension and negative vibes that had once surrounded us in this elevator.
Suddenly, a voice came through the speaker and I could only think one thing specifically.
This boy's voice is amazing.
"Is that you?" I almost shouted at him. He laughed lightly and nodded his head.
"I'm not sure how I feel about it though," He says, causing me to laugh sarcastically.
"Your voice is fucking amazing." I said as I looked into his eyes. I stood up and went to sit next to him, completely forgetting that I didn't like him two minutes ago. Music really changed my opinion when it came to things, and once I heard this boy's talent, I wanted the whole world to hear it as well. I wanted more.
I felt selfish as I sat there and listened to the angel-like voice. I felt as if he should be played throughout the whole world and that his voice needed to be kept in a locked box and never thrown away.
I know it's weird, but I love music. What can I say? When it comes to the things I love, I like to get involved, which is why I took Jungkook's phone and started scrolling through his playlist. As one song ended, I would just press on another to play.
"So," Jungkook broke off the silence as I stared at his phone. "Do you like it?"
Like it? I love it!
"It's pretty cool," I said as I gave him his phone back. "I've always been interested in making music and even rapping."
"Why don't you try it?" He said as he looked at me with his big eyes. I looked away and laughed at what he said. "Because I don't have any equipment. I work at a coffee shop, I'm not exactly rich or anything." I said to him.
Jungkook looked at the elevator door and then back at me. "You could always use my equipment if you wanted to." He smiled.
As if perfectly timed, the elevator door finally opened and revealed a man with some tools standing in front of it.
Jungkook and I both stood up at the same time and looked at each other. "I'll think about it." I said as I walked over to my apartment and quickly unlocked my door and went in without looking back.
What just happened?

Short chapter,
Also, I wanted to involve music somehow- so that's a start.
