"Olivia?"

My eyes shot open. I stared. Stared for a long time at him. Oh my God Noah saw that. But then I remembered that without my glasses, I was Olivia.

I was suddenly aware of how heavy I was and how red and wet my face must be. I jumped down and wiped my face. shishitshitshitshit

"I am so sorry I didn't mean to- I mean I didn't thing you- oh jeez I'm so sorry Noah" I mumbled the last part and looked at my shoes.

"Liv It's fine, I was about to do the same thing you did but the security was coming and I had to get you out of there"he said softly. I looked up at him confused.

"Why are you mad?" I questioned wiping the blood and tears in my jeans. "Well for one, Amy is-" he stoped himself an digs face fell but he still looked at me, "was my girlfriend" I let out a short gasp and quickly covered my mouth.

He continued, "and two, I heard what you said well, not said more mike screamed," his face softens and we both laughed a bit. "No one should be treated like that. Especially from someone they thought they could trust." I nodded. And looked deeper into his eyes. Those eyes.

I couldn't believe he had a girlfriend. Of corse he did, Isabel, he's popular hot, and exactly the guy that Amy would be into. I was disappointed but also not over the fact that James got away with it.

I could have continued this internal back and forth all day but I stopped when he spoke again. "Listen, Olivia, I think we are both in a bit of a bad place right now but maybe sometime this week we could, I-I dunno," he paused scratching the back of his neck. I was pretty confused as to what he was asking. Like what could he want from ME! Ugly old me. Probably a favor or some shit. All my life it's been, Isa pass me the paper, Isa hold the door, Isa , Isa, ISA. I wasn't surprised that the name Olivia would make it any different.

"Um yeah so- maybe w-we could go out or something?" He finished nervously. I was in shock. My jaw dropped slightly and I just stood there like an idiot. "I-I uh, m-m-Maybe yeah I g-guess that's be." I gave up on talking as my face was already beet red and frantically nodded.

He looked relieved. Why though? How could I say no to him? Is anything he was out of my league. Way out...

I smiled scarily wide and he chuckled and smirked as he regained his confidence. "I'll text you later then k?" I nodded again and waved goodbye.

Happened?!

I plowed down on a bench and zoned out. I didn't even realize when Peggy was shaking my shoulders and yelling my name.

"Issssaaaaaaaaaa" She screeched and I snapped out of whatever trance I was in. "Mmmh?" I asked still stating at the escalator.

She flicked my ear like a grandmother would and my head snapped to attention. Glaring at her and whining in pain I yelped, "Ow Peggy what the hell was that for?" She motioned toward Izzy, still holding Katie who had stoped crying but was visibly weak.

I rushed to her, "Katie!! Oh jeez hun he's not gonna hurt you anymore. He's gone." I reassured her stroking her forearm. As soon as I said that, Katie locked eyes with me and let out a little gasp. Those sad eyes. I couldn't tell her expression, just that it was bad.

Tears started streaming down her face but she wasn't quite crying. There was no sniffling or wailing. Her mouth stayed shut as she looked at me. Her eyes weren't sad anymore. They weren't quite angry, just concerned and confused. The tears kept coming.

We made it back to the house. No one said a word in the car or on our way to Peggy's room. We sat there in the floor. It was funny, the way time affects things. We were sitting in the exact same spots int eh same room as we were before. 2 hours changed the giggles to tears.

Peggy cleared her throat and said, "Izzy's mom calles and asked if you could sleep over and dropped your stuff off." There were a few nods and then silence.

I couldn't help it. The tears hadn't stopped filling Katie's eyes since the mall. "Katie," I thought out my words carefully. My word choice was like the difference between poking the beast or aiming to it, "it was for the best. He had to answer for his (words burr) actions. I admit I want to far but it's gonna be ok from here on out." I finished.

She looked up at me and replied between sobs, "y-yes b-it he was s-s-still loyal. He stayed with me and loved me." We all exchanges looks.

"Ka-" Peggy started but I shook my head and she stopped. Katie was fragile and couldn't take another heart break. "He-he is the only one who was ever there and now I have no one" she looked at her lap and let a few sobs escape.

I wrapped my arms around her and whispered, "who you calling no one" even though she was still crying now into my shirt, I felt her smile and hug back. Izzy hugged the other side of Katie and Peggy (of course) jumped on top of us so we all exploded on the floor laughing.

Katie wipes away her tears and smiled. Like really smiled. "I love you guys" she sighed. And then Peggy sat up and responded, "you won't after this..." Katie life's her head to look questioningly at peggy. I watched as Peggy pounced on Katie and tickled her. Izzy tried to pry Peggy off but she just turned around and tickled her.

I sat up and plowed down on the bed watching the laughing mess of a friend group in front of me. These are the kinda of memories you remember throughout your life. The ones where your free and happy. Those are the best days of our lives.

We were in that case of a sleepover around 10:00 pm when we were all just on our phones and occasionally sharing memes.

I was laying on my back in the bay window reading Harry Potter for the millionth time. Peggy's feet were facing me as she layer on the foot of her bed on her back. He head was off the side of it and she was trying to read something upside down. Katie was scrunched you in a corner under a light and Izzy was sprawled out on her stomach in the center of the room.

Peggy lifted her head and shifted to sit up on her elbows and look at me. "Hey Isa," I put a finger at the end of a sentence I was reading and looked up. "Mhm?" I asked.

She smirked and held up my phone that I had left on the bed. I gasped and lept up to snatch it but Peggy was faster. She stood up and maniacally laughed. My heart dropped when I saw the home-screen light up and there was a text from Noah.

I grabbed Peggy's legs and pulled them so she fell. I laughed when I saw her face. The phone fell right into my hand and I read it. By this time Izzy and Katie were standing and looking at me in awe. As if in explanation I said, "I just beat up a 200 pound man, don't look at me like that"

Peggy grumbled and rubbed her head from the floor. "Not cool" She slurred.

"Noooo" I corrected her with a smile, "not cool you read my texts" I snickered.

"Well, what does it say?" Izzy asked.

I looked down again.

Olivia: even though I beat someone up?

Noah: especially because you beat someone up!

Olivia: lmao... what's up?

Noah: just wanted to see if you were free tomorrow? Around 1 ish?

Olivia: why?

Noah: god your so difficult ? I think you can guess why...

Olivia :mhm you liikkkkeeee me!

Noah: wow... your the worst

Olivia: And you have to deal with that tmr at 1!

Noah: haha I was joking but I'd love to deal with you

Olivia: ok then I'll see you tmr my address is 123 Main Street (idk)

Noah: can't wait ;)

I was uncontrollably blushing. The girls were all pilled on my shoulder looking at my phone.

"Well ladies, we've got some work to do" Peggy taunted looking me up and down. I smashed her face with a pillow and we all collapsed laughing and snorting.

This was gonna be interesting...
