It was the day after Christmas and Peggy and I decided to go to the mall to shop for Katie and Izzy's secret santa gifts.

I had gotten Katie. Peggy refused to tell me who she got so I assumed it was me.

As we got ready to go to the mall, I noticed that Peggy was wearing MY new outfit!!! Honestly it looked better on her...

I decided to annoy her and put on her new dress with no intention of wearing it.

I washed out of the bathroom and she just looked at me. I had curled my Omg blonde hair and pulled it half back while the rest rested on my shoulders.  I had up on makeup pretty badly but it was still presentable. My gold-rimed glasses sat apon my nose. I did a little spin hoping she would get mad and then flustered. It was so funny when she turns beet red.

She turned around and her jaw dropped. Her eyes scanned me and I did another little spin and gave her a look that dared her to get mad. Her face got red. She closed her mouth.
Oh here it comes....

"That looks so cute on you Isa!!" She exclaimed rushing over to me. A look of pure shock on my face. She rushed toward me and started fixing my makeup then stood back and took a picture.

"What was that for?" I asked.

"Oh nothing... just a new profile picture for Noah..." she smirked. I kept across the room and tackled her and grabbed the spine quickly deleting the picture. I looked at her and realized I was on top of her and our noses were touching. Peggy sheepishly smiled and blushed furiously. I blew in her eyes and scrambled away before she could fight back.

We chased each Other until we fell to the ground exhausted. After a moment or to of catching my breath, I walked back into the closet to change my clothes again. I would not go to the mall looking like a Rustic hooker.

I emerged wearing one of my new outfits. Peggy was still laying on the floor catching her breath. I think she was asleep. I've prepared for this moment.

I snuck to the closet and reached for the top shelf. Once I had airhorn in my hand, I went back to the snoozing Peggy and blew it in her ear.

She woke up with a start and punched the closest thing to her, which, just so happens to be my face.

I winced in pain and held my had to my eye. Peggy came to her surroundings and realized what just happened. She rushed over to me and comforted me.
"It's fine pegs. It was my fault and if it hadn't been me that you punched I would've been breaking down laughing right now" I chuckled.

She gave me a sad smile and helped me up. It didn't hurt that much but it looked really bad. Like, it gave a whole new meaning to black eye.

But we still had to get to the mall. The party was tomorrow and the mall closed in like 5 hours. That was NOT enough time!!

"Ok we should split up because..." Peggy trailed off. I knew she wanted my gift to be a surprise so I nodded and we went separate ways.

I had no idea whatsoever of what to get Katie, so naturally I went into every store. Luckily I knew her size, she, pants, shirt, which it because she's tiny and is a large in kids.

I got her 2 pairs of lavender lulu lemon leggings, cake mix, and a cute outfit from holster:

I put the outfit in the bag and thanked the cashier lady. When I stepped out of that cologne hole (yeah we were all thinking it) I felt a tap on my shoulder.

Guess who it was...

I'll wait

"Noah!! It's you?!" I asked pursing my lips. (Did ya guess cuz I see how many reads this gets and if there aren't that amount of comments, then *insert threat*) I couldn't believe the beautiful boy in front of me was my boyfriend!!

"Isa. Right?" I had completely forgotten I was wearing my glasses. Shiiiiit. Play it cool Is, play it cool.

"Yeah! What're you doing here" I said. I was surprised my how low my voice got. Not like manly low but like a shy kinda quiet low.

He chuckled and replied, "well I was bored and came to the mall. Last time I was bored I came here and saw my girlf-" he straitened up and fixed his mistake, "my EX girlfriend cheat on me and my current girlfriend beat up James." He looked up with a smile on her face.

He looked back down to me and commented, "you know, you look a lot like her-" he started. I could feel myself blushing and looked away.

We walked in silence  for a few seconds then we both tried to say something at the same time to fill the silence. We laughed and he nodded toward me to signal me to go first.

"Whoever your girlfriend is, she must me pretty badass to have beaten up James..." Ok I admit, I may have been fishing for compliments at that point but no one has to know that.

"Hell yeah shes badass. She is beautiful too. I really like her. You know how, you find someone and you really really like them and they like you back and it's just perfect?" He asked.

To be honest, I didn't know what it was like. I mean Noah liked Olivia, but not me. "No... i mean sure, I've liked people but no boy has ever, you know liked me." I stopped before I could embarrass myself further. "To be honest, your the first guy to actually come up and talk to me- like voluntarily."  My cheeks were a violent shade of red and I probably looked like I was coming onto him.

He laughed and looked at me stopping and sitting on a bench. I copied his motion and sat next to him. "Listen, when I first met you, I honestly didn't know what to think. I mean your quiet and really smart. But now that I talk to you and know you. Your really cool! You are pretty and smart and funny. And an added bonus of being my friend is I can beat people up for you!!" I laughed. WHAT WAS HE SAYING and more importantly WHY WAS HE SAYING IT TO ME!!!? Honestly he probably meant platonically bc he has a girlfriend: me...

Then I remembered. I checked my watch; it said 5:43. SHIIIIIT I had to meet Peggy at 6:00 and I still had to buy the gift bag. As perfect as this moment was,
I had to go.

"Thanks. Your really sweet. Your girlfriend must be really lucky. I have to go now sorry! Bye! " I shot up and seed walked I. The other direction to the paper store.

I found peggy there smirking at me.

"What now Peggy?" I said exasperated. My face was flushed from all the Exercise. She held up her phone and it had a picture on it. I squinted at it and realized that it was a picture of me and Noah sitting on that bench. My face was bright red and his was smirking. Not gonna lie, out of context it looked like we were about to kiss.

My face was in shock and Peggy was taunting me. I mumbled something and she stopped.

"What?" She asked genuinely confused.

"Peggy, I'm giving you 3 seconds or run" I was gonna take that phone and shove it up her-

She looked at me confused and so I held up 3 fingers and made eye contact. She didn't start running until I took a finger away so now I was holding 2.

Ooh she was gonna regret spying on me.
