I wake up in a hospital bed. The sound of beeping is the first thing I hear. I took around to see if anyone is around. A shock of pain goes through my head and I yelp. Where is the nurse button? I know there is one.

I find it and a nurse comes practically runs through the door.

"Your awake!" She yells. "How are you feeling?"

"My head hurts," I say.

"It must," she says taking the bandages off my head.

"Ma'am can I ask you something?" I say weakly.

"Yes," she answers smiling.

"What happened to me and who am I?" I ask. She looks at me. Shocked. Very shocked. She runs out of the room. What was she doing?

A minute came by and her and a Doctor came back.

"I'm Doctor Robinson," the doctor put his hand out. I just looked at it. He awkwardly put it down "Do you know what happened?" The doctor asked.

"No," I say.

"Do you know who you are?" He asks.

"No," I say.

"Do you remember anything?" He asks.

"Noah..." I mumble.

"What was that sweetie?" The nurse asked sweetly.

"Noah," I say. "I can't remember anything besides that name! I'm scared! What happened to me?!" I start screaming. The doctor and nurse are telling me to calm down but I can't. How would they feel if all they remember is a four letter name?!

The nurse grabs my arm and puts a needle in me. "What-" I say. The nurse shushes me. My eyes start getting heavy. "Who's Noah?" I manage to ask but I fall asleep.

I see a little girl swinging on a swing set. She has long brown hair flowing as she swings. She is wearing a yellow dress with white flowers on it.

A boy runs up. He trips. She stops the swing and runs to him.

"Are you ok?" She asks concerned.

"I'm fine," he says sweetly "Get up. You are going to ruin your nice dress,"

"I don't care! You fell are you ok?" The little girl says.

"I'm ok," he says getting up.

"Your knee! It's bleeding!" The little girl says looking at the scratch.

"It's ok," the little boy says.

"Here," the little girl says dabbing the wound with a handkerchief. The boy flinches when she touches his knee. "I have to clean it. It can get infected," this little girl is intelligent.

"Ok," the boy says. She cleans it and grabs a bandage from her pocket. She is prepared too. She wraps the boys knee in the bandage. "Thanks," the boy says.

"Your welcome," she says still wrapping his knee up.

"My name is Noah," the boy says.

Noah! That little boy is Noah?

"My name is Rikki. It's nice to meet you Noah," the girl says finishing up the wrapping.

Rikki.

Beep beep beep

I hear the beeping of my heart.

"She has severe memory loss," I hear the doctor say.

"Will her memory come back?" I hear a man say.

"It's hard to say. If she does get it back it will take some time," The doctor answers. I open my eyes.

"Does she remember anything?" The man says."

"Who is Noah?" The doctor asks.

"Noah is an old friend of hers," Noah is an old friend?

"All she remembers is his name," I remember a friends name?

"Who is that?" I mumble. They both look at me.

"You really don't remember me?" The man says.

"No," I say.

"I'm your dad," the man says.

"My dad?" I ask.

"Yes your dad," he says. He seems desperate.

"If your my dad," I start "Where is my mom?"

He looks at me. He has pain in his eyes. "Your mom is dead," he says. My eyes widen. I don't remember her but it is still painful.

"What happened to her?" I ask.

"She was hit by a car a few years ago," he says.

"Oh," I say looking down. "Is there anyone else I should remember?" I ask.

"You have a really good friend named Victoria," he says.

"Oh," I say. I hate not remembering anything or anyone.

There is an awkward silence.

"Who am I?" I ask.

"Your name is Rikki,"

Rikki.

"The little girl," I say.

"What?" Dad asks.

"The little girl that helped the boy!" I say.

"What girl and boy?" He asks.

"While I was sleeping I saw a boy fall and the girl helped him! There names were Noah and Rikki!"

"You remember how you met," he says.

"That's how me and Noah met?" I ask.

"Yes," dad says.
