Baekhyun slammed the apartment door, kicked his house slippers off and walked as fast as he could barefoot to his bedroom slamming that door as well.

"BREAK IT BECAUSE IT DIDN'T COST YOU A WON!" His mother shouted and Toben barked.

"Aish I can't believe this asshole Aish really!" Baekhyun said borderline throwing a tantrum on the floor.

After calming down a little bit, not too much because he still wants to throw a tantrum, he went to grab his phone and texted his cousin.

Baekhyun: Can you get some people to beat someone up?
Sehun: WTF?! When did Ever?? Who btw.
Baekhyun: Park assyeol.
Sehun: your baby daddy and my boyfriend's employer?
Baekhyun: exactly
Sehun: My boyfriend has bills to pay.
Baekhyun: And I have a situation to solve.
Sehun: No sir, you have anger issues.
Sehun: What happened anyway?
Baekhyun: this jackass drove all the way here to make demands on my baby he even threatened me legally. He said that he wants to be part of this pregnancy go to appointments and all.
Sehun: Extra extra! Bucheon man orders ex boyfriend's murder because the ex wanted to take responsibility of his actions and be the father of their kid together.
Baekhyun: fuck you. What do I do?
Sehun: No idea never saw this film before but I can tell you what not to do. Find someone to beat a billionaire up. I don't know it's your game take control and make him do what you want not him making you do what he wants.
Baekhyun: how do I do it?
Sehun: No idea! I have to finish my assignment, well I didn't start it yet and I have like 3 hours or so.

The next morning Baekhyun left for a walk with Toben while trying to find a way to turn the tables.

"Fuck him." Baekhyun said to himself "I don't even think he is going to stick around anyways. I hate him."

He doesn't hate Chanyeol at all, he loves him but he is way too hurt to care and afraid to get closer to Chanyeol because he knows he is going to get hurt again. Or even worst, hurt his baby.

Baekhyun's phone rang and he ignored when he saw the name "boyfriend" calling

Finding out that he is going to be a father is still very weird to Chanyeol because his brain is taking it's sweet time to process. Maybe because he had a whole scenario for it and didn't turn out like that. He wanted to see that pharmacy pregnancy test, he wanted to go to the first appointment he wanted to have the full experience but Noup, he wasn't even notified about it and he had to play detective to find out yet he still doesn't know shit. Having a kid with a person who hates you it's awful.

The past night Chanyeol didn't want to push Baekhyun into giving more answers because he seemed stressed enough but now he wants it now.

"I'm a spoiled brat and things are as I want if he wants war let's have it." Chanyeol said to himself.

"You are, but are trying to fight him or fight for him?" Junmyeon asked.

"Aish hyung you scared me." Chanyeol touched his heart.

"You should be nice to him, you guys love each other but he is hurt." Junmyeon said ignoring what Chanyeol's said before.

Chanyeol straighten his back up and looked at Junmyeon serious.

"Suho hyung..." Chanyeol looked for words "I I just found out that I'm going to be a fa father."

Junmyeon looked at Chanyeol confused, what is he saying.

"What are you saying? Baekhyun is pregnant?" He asked.

"Yes, he was hiding it from. I am the father, he is trying to deny my rights." Chanyeol explained. "I'm trying to call him but he doesn't answer."

Took his phone and typed I'm calling you one more time and if you don't answer I'm going to your parent's house. We need to have a real conversation.

"Congratulations man, you are going to be a good father." Junmyeon said.

"If Baekhyun allows me." Chanyeol mocked his ex.

Five minutes later Chanyeol called Baekhyun again who answered this time.

"Did your fingers fall for answering my call?" Chanyeol asked not getting a answer "how are you?" Nothing

Chanyeol stayed quiet for a moment before sighing.

"Okay, we obviously need to talk. Tell me when are you free today." Chanyeol's said. Nothing "okay I'm going to take this as you are free all day... let's have lunch together I'm going to get changed and go there."

"I'm not going to open the door for you. I said I didn't want you to mingle into my life." Baekhyun said annoyed.

"Okay don't open it, I'm going to make a whole scene for your neighbours." Chanyeol said annoyed as well.

"What's up with you?" Baekhyun asked "I already told you when is the next appointment and that's it!"

"Stop pretending to not understand!"Chanyeol took a deep breath "Listen I'm not going to argue with you, get ready and let's talk over lunch or get ready watch my show with your neighbours and let's talk over lunch."

What's up with Baekhyun? Chanyeol is trying to be nice to him.

"I don't want to have lunch with YOU!" Baekhyun said.

"I'm not going to argue with you Baekhyun and I don't want to have lunch with you I'm going to have lunch with my baby, you are there by default and to have a adult conversation with me." Chanyeol said.

"I hate you!" Baekhyun said disconnecting the call.

"AAAAAH WHY IS HE DOING LIKE THIS? I'M TRYING TO BE NICE." Chanyeol was done. "Acting like a child."

"Well Baekhyun is still on his early 20's and you o your early 30's so." Junmyeon said changing the channel "I understand where he is coming from, he is mad. Also I'm assuming that I came here for nothing because you are leaving right?"

"Sorry hyung, let's have dinner together instead, I want to solve this situation with Baekhyun as soon as possible." Chanyeol apologised.

Once he was parked Chanyeol sent a message to Baekhyun informing that he has arrived and Baekhyun left it on read just to 3 minutes open the building door looking all worked up and to take Chanyeol's bad mood.

"He looks so cute."  Chanyeol smiled.

Baekhyun looked around and walked to the car with his hands on this pocket. Got into the car and buckled up.

"Can I ask you how are you or it's your privacy?" Chanyeol asked trying not to smile.

Baekhyun was holding himself to not talk to Chanyeol.

"Listen."Chanyeol faced Baekhyun "Baekhyun I admite my mistake and I can only imagine how I made you feel and I feel awful about it, took me some time but I understood and I only saw my side instead of understanding you and how you must've felt hiding your relationship and dating a person still on the closet and with lots of stuff on his heart." Baekhyun looked surprised to Chanyeol "I'm sorry about that, I'm sorry for hurting you, I...I hope you know that I did that because I didn't have the courage to stand up for myself and didn't realise that you actually needed me to stand up for us." Baekhyun's eyes started to get wet "I'm not trying to get you back just yet because I can't put you through it again because even though now I know what to do I'm going slowly and I just can't slow you down. I'm sorry for fucking up that time" he said from the bottom os his heart "Baekhyun we have to do it together because I'm honestly not going to give up my part of being a father so let's at least try to be in good terms, because there's nothing I can do about what is done aside from apologise." Chanyeol started driving "Here, pick a restaurant." he gave Baekhyun his phone still locked.

Baekhyun unlocked the phone and saw his face with Chanyeol during their trip to China as Chanyeol's wallpaper, the same he had before they broke up. He misses Chanyeol but he is way too hurt to admit it.  He wiped his tears.

He took a deep breath and put the location of one of his favourite restaurants and gave the phone back to Chanyeol to follow the directions.

"Chanyeol-ssi, I'm sorry for saying that I hate you." Baekhyun said looking down "I took it too far."

"It's okay, you can call me hyung if you want or my name, you know I don't mind." Chanyeol said.

Baekhyun didn't say anything, he just doesn't want to get close to Chanyeol anymore.

The ride was in silence which was something uncommon for a ride with Baekhyun.

Seeing Baekhyun this uncomfortable made Chanyeol want to give up but he just can leave his child and make Baekhyun raise them on his own.

"We are here." Chanyeol said smiling to break the ice.

After they ordered their food they didn't say anything to anyone anymore.

"Why didn't answer my call?" Chanyeol asked with a soft voice.

Baekhyun didn't say anything.

"Okay." Chanyeol took this phone and open the notes "let's make some rules because I feel like we are not in the same page I say one and you say one we can try to negotiate" Chanyeol suggested making Baekhyun role his eyes " one for me is always answer each other's calls and texts within reasonable time."

"Childish... what if I don't?" Baekhyun asked.

"If you don't... I can locate you and have the conversation face to face in front of whoever you are with." Chanyeol said typing.

"Toxic." Baekhyun said.

"What do you mean toxic? You are pregnant I have to keep on checking on you and our baby because I will not take that only know about the appointments bullshit." Chanyeol defended his rule.

"Whatever." Baekhyun said " Mine is if you abandone or reject them in ANY way you HAVE to wave your rights as their father legally and leave us the fuck alone." Baekhyun said smiling waiting for Chanyeol to argue this rule.

"Done." Chanyeol said confidently. "My next one is if you disappear for over 24 hours without telling me anything prior or during, you move in with me as soon as a find you or you return."

"WHAT?" Baekhyun said annoyed " that's stupid why?"

"Because you don't want me to fulfil my role as a dad and you can run away with my child just to prevent me." Chanyeol crossed his arms.

"Ridiculous, it's not like I have elsewhere to go." Baekhyun said to himself "if I ever move in we will not share a bed. If you try I can leave the apartment back to where I was."

"What if I only have one bed?" Chanyeol asked.

The food arrived.

"That's on you." Baekhyun said.

"Baekhyun." Chanyeol laughed " I was joking making those rules, but I would appreciate if you answered my calls and keep me updated on your whereabouts." Chanyeol used a soft tone. "I know it's awful to talk to your ex but really, see me as a friend and as you know you can reach out to me at anytime for any reason."

"Are you serious?" Baekhyun asked "A joke? You stressed me out for no reason." Baekhyun started to eat his food followed by Chanyeol who chuckled.

"I see how tense you are, please just trust me on this one? I know I broke your trust one but this time I promise you that I will keep my word and if I don't, your rule is still valid and I'm going to give you 5million dollars to take care of them and as a compensation for breaking your trust." Chanyeol reassured.

"Type that 5million usd in there." Baekhyun said smiling to his food as he refuses to smile at Chanyeol.

Baekhyun was back in Seoul as his classes would start on the next day.

Since the restaurant meeting he tries to answer Chanyeol's calls as he only wants to check on his health, they haven't seen each other since that day.

As for Chanyeol, he wants to ask to see Toben but he understands that Baekhyun wants to stay away from him, so he will not force.

At 1am Baekhyun woke up from his sleep finding Sehun taking frenetically on his phone.

"Sehun." Baekhyun called and Sehun looked at him "can you please please buy me sim kimbap? I'm craving." Baekhyun asked sleepy.

"I'm your roommate not your slave." Sehun said "I'm going going because I wanted a juice." Sehun said.

And the late night cravings continued over the week making Sehun go get stuff and making Luhan go buy the things as Sehun couldn't leave the building."

Luhan was at the office talking to Sehun on the phone while Chanyeol was passing by.

"Baekhyun's cravings are killing me, now at around that time I wake up." Luhan laughed " I feel like I'm his husband."

Chanyeol stopped and waited patiently for Luhan.

Luhan looked behind seeing his boss.

"Mr Park!" He quickly ended the call " what can I do for you?"

"Please save my personal phone number and call me at any time Baekhyun craves something. I'll do it for him." Chanyeol said.
