It's been a hard month for Chanyeol and Baekhyun as they have been adapting to their new lifestyle as parents.

Haneul wakes up a lot during the night. They knew that it would happen but they didn't expect it to be so hard.

During this month Baekhyun cried a lot just like now.

It's 03:20 am and Haneul is crying his lungs out while Baekhyun is walking around the nursery with him crying as well.

"Sweetie please tell me what to do." Baekhyun said crying.

Baekhyun changed him, fed him, took a bit of his clothes off , added clothes, sang... he did everything he could think of but his son wouldn't stop crying and Baekhyun was frustrated and thinking that he is not a good father or even that his son hated him.

Toben who was in the room with Baekhyun was in absolute silence seeing Baekhyun's tears.

"Baby please, what is wrong?"Baekhyun asked trying to breathe a bit.

How can a father not understand his own baby?

Maybe Baekhyun is not thinking straight because he is VERY tired.

"Haneul, dada loves you, please tell me what is wrong." Baekhyun asked sobbing but his baby only continued crying.

Baekhyun looked at Toben and opened the door for the dog.

"Toben wake up Chanyeol please." Baekhyun asked a bit desperate.

Maybe his baby is needs to go to hospital.

Toben ran to the master bedroom finding Chanyeol sleeping happily. Toben started barking waking Chanyeol up.

"What the actual fuck Toben!" Chanyeol asked annoyed "Baekhyun look at yo..." he looked to the side not finding his husband.

Toben barked again and ran showing Chanyeol the way. Chanyeol followed Toben finding both his son and his husband crying.

"He won't stop crying..." Baekhyun said sobbing "I think he is not feeling well. Or he doesn't like me."

Chanyeol walked slowly to them and took the baby to his arms. It's Haneul loves Baekhyun.

"Baby, sit down you are still recovering." Chanyeol said after kissing Baekhyun's forehead.

"Let's take him to the hospital." Baekhyun said while the baby was still crying just like him.

"Let's see what my mum has to say first." Chanyeol said calm "just take a sit." He and walked to his bedroom with the still crying baby and called his mother. "Haneul, let's wake up grandma, shall we?"

After a quick call with his mother they returned to the nursery.

"Mum said to massage his belly." Chanyeol explained laying his baby on Baekhyun's lap. "Move his legs like this." Baekhyun showed show to do it "try."

Baekhyun slowly did as instructed and after some time Haneul started to relax a bit.

"He loves you Baekhyun." Chanyeol said "look at his focussed face." Chanyeol smiled "he was just asking for some help to go to the toilet, poor thing."

"You change him." Baekhyun said not wanting to change the baby.

"Hell no, I'm sleeping right now." Chanyeol refused " How you can hug him." Chanyeol smiled.

Haneul was still distressed as it was a rocky night but when his nose inhaled the scent from Baekhyun's neck he stopped crying as he knew how safe he was.

"See?" Chanyeol said " he loves you. Don't ever think that he doesn't." Chanyeol kissed Baekhyun's lips "he was crying because he knew that you would help him like always. You are his dad"

"Now I feel bad for feeling frustrated." Baekhyun confessed.

"It's okay to feel frustrated, you just didn't know how to help." He kissed Baekhyun and Toben barked "What's up? He is my husband and this is my house if you don't want to see close your eyes or go to your room." Toben barked again. "Stop barking back at me." Toben just left the room barking and Baekhyun laughed. "Are you laughing? That's why you are going to change your son while I'm going back to sleep." Chanyeol mocked.

He gave Baekhyun and Haneul a kiss and went to his bedroom.

Even Chanyeol didn't say it, he is glad that Baekhyun woke him up and asked for help because that's the main reason why he is on parenting leave.

Haneul is 6 weeks old and both parents feel way more confident about taking care of him and figuring out the reason for him cry.

How his favourite game is following things with his eyes as now he can see. He also follows Toben around with his eyes but the thing that makes Baekhyun excited is when his baby starts smiling, everyone said "soon" and Baekhyun is really excited about it.

Baekhyun and Chanyeol like to take him outside and show him the things around them even though Haneul falls asleep shortly after. Maybe be outdoors breeze makes him sleepy.

Today is a Monday and Baekhyun is anxious as Chanyeol is going back to work. Baekhyun is not going to be alone because Sehun is on his way there and later on Kyungsoo is going to bring some food for them to try.

"I'll be back flying." Chanyeol kissed Baekhyun's lips.

Baekhyun got up with Chanyeol's help and followed him to the door carrying Haneul.

"Yeobo, I'm so proud of you, I'm so glad that I landed in your life like that and that you kept on loving me even when I was trying to chase you away." Baekhyun said a little emotional "I don't know what I would've done without you. I feel like I would've explained from keeping this love inside me. I'm going to do my best to make you proud as well."

"Baby."Chanyeol kissed his husband's forehead "Why are you this adorable?" Kissed Baekhyun's lips "I'm already proud of you. And of you little man." He said using a baby voice to his baby who had his eyes wide open and kissed his little forehead "So happy to have you two."  And Toben barked as he approached to see the commotion "not proud of you you rascal." Chanyeol said to Toben "Did you see him running away from me yesterday during our run? Toben you have to apologise."

Toben barked and ran pass Chanyeol to greet Sehun who just left the lift.

"Hey Beethoven!" Sehun said happy starting to play with the dog for a minute "Hi my baby hiii you handsome." Sehun said to his nephew.

"Thanks, I made it myself." Chanyeol said proudly.

"He doesn't look like you at all." Sehun changed his happy tone.

Sehun and Chanyeol love each other and they see each other as real siblings but none of them wants to admit that.

"Get out of my house!" Chanyeol said.

"I'm not inside your priority sir nor are you, in fact Baekhyun and Haneul are the only ones in your property." Sehun said " if you have a brain behind that big ass forehead of yours you would see that this line is where your property starts." He said referring to the door frame.

"What? Your forehead is bigger than mine!" Chanyeol protested.

"Yes but I'm handsome." Sehun said and Baekhyun started analysing the foreheads in silence

"Just a minute." Chanyeol said grabbing his phone to make a phone call while Sehun was trying to play with his nephew "Hello hyung, no I'm not late... it's a quick legal question" he said on the phone. "If I kick someone at my front door to protect my husband and child can you say it's self defence? What do you mean no? What about stand your ground? We don't have stand your group in Korea? Well you better tell your father to pass that law." Chanyeol said to Minseok " so I can't legally kick his face?"

"But I can kick your." Sehun said.

After some more arguing Chanyeol went to work and as soon as he arrived he started missing his family.

It's a little difficult going to work and leaving his husband with baby Haneul all day long.  Everyone had to do it? Leave their babies all day and go to work?

He opened an app that he doesn't really use it and to be honest the last time that he posted something was almost one years ago and decided to post a couple of pictures of his time off being careful to not show his husband's nor his babies face.

While he was choosing the pictures to post he started feeling nostalgic.

For example the picture of Baekhyun's bump with a toy car on it, he missed that day, it was so relaxing and he was so anxious to play with his son and now he is out in the world. Or them at the beach with Toben or even the picture of them at the hospital holding Haneul and he made sure to cover his family's face with heart emoji.

I want to spend more time with them... it was so amazing going to Bussan with my husband and going back to Seoul with a little bit of Bussan's sky. He wrote.

Two minutes later Baekhyun sent a message.

Husband: Haneul's daddy, focus... also what an old man's bs captain is that? Love you.
Boyfriend: I AM OLD! Maybe you forgot because of my stamina :)
Husband: I'm leaving this conversation because I'm getting horny.
Boyfriend: WTF why do you say it like that? Be shy about it.
Husband: I'm not shy i love to walk around naked.
Boyfriend: I'm leaving this conversation.
Husband: why? Imagining me walking around naked makes you horny?
Boyfriend: Baekhyun!
Husband: I read it as a moan.
Boyfriend: aren't you with your cousin?
Husband: Noup, he took Haneul and Toben for a walk and told me to take a nap.
Boyfriend: so take your damn nap and stop causing trouble.
Husband: okay... (picture of his butt)
Boyfriend: wtf!?? You look so hot... wait you shouldn't be in this position you are recovering.

Asshole.

What kind of monster he decided to marry?
