Baekhyun was devastated, he opened the door of his room and he felt empty, he threw himself on his bed not caring about taking off his shoes. everything feels awful, his body hurt his heart hurts his brain hurts.

Today he just postponed the break up but it has to be done. He just wanted to breakup peacefully, not with shouting and arguments.

Chanyeol gave him great memories and love and basically everything he needed to be happy so he want to end it with respect not with that shouting and a fuck you.

"Baekhyun." Sehun closed the door behind him. "There's something you want to say?" Sehun ask informally, this was the first time he had to do this task.

"It hurts." Baekhyun just said sobbing.

"I know it does."Sehun said touching Baekhyun's hair "You deserve way better." Sehun started to take off Baekhyun's shoes and tucking him in.

Sehun is feeling guilty, he pushed his cousin to that asshat... he should've left alone.

"I was so happy." Baekhyun couldn't stop crying "I love him so much."

"I know I know." Sehun used his softest voice and laying next to his cousin and hugging him "I can't believe he did that shit."

"He said he would fix it and the we would be happy." Baekhyun hugged his cousin.

"All men do is lie." Sehun wiped his cousin's tear out "Soo hyung is making something delicious for you... Do you want to guess what is it?"

"What?" He tried to stop his sobbing "kimchi stew?"

"Exactly... and Kai is buying ice cream and fried chicken..." Sehun informed.

"Aren't you on a diet?" Baekhyun asked his cousin.

"It's a diet not starving myself... Today won't kill me." Sehun said.

The next day Baekhyun woke up early, actually he didn't sleep. He ate with his friends cuddling with while watching some dramas together and slept with Sehun on own bed. He acted like the times where he didn't know Chanyeol, woke up before Sehun, took a shower and started to kick Sehun to wake up as the youngest is way too used to Baekhyun's loud mornings to wake up unlike Chanyeol.

"Ya... get up Sehun. Baekhyun kicked Sehun slowly
Baekhyun is pretending to be fine so he doesn't worry his friend who already have way too much to think about.

"So tired..."Sehun said waking up "How are you feeling? Are you going to lecture?"

"I'm fine, I can't skip classes because I want to. Also I don't have a reason to skip classes." Baekhyun said packing his things. "Ugh I don't have the text books for today."

"Do you want me to go to his house and get your stuff?" Sehun asked still laying down.

"Can we talk about it later? I have to go." Baekhyun said putting his shoes on.

"Take your time I guess."

"Get up okay? I'm going." Baekhyun said leaving the room fixing his face mask.

If you saw him you would never guess what he is going through, the pain he is feeling. He is acting as if it was a normal day.

Even though they didn't broke up, it has to happen but Baekhyun needs to gather the power to face the love of his life and end it all.

Meanwhile didn't sleep at night tried to call Baekhyun and waited for him all night long to come home. After his announcement the entire office was pure chaos. Junmyeon was not ready for that and he wanted to shout at Chanyeol for not hinting at least but he left the shouting for a different day as Baekhyun did enough shouting.

The apartment is so quiet.  He left his parents house as soon as he could to live on his own because he didn't like how loud and busy his parent's house is specially in the morning. Living in a quiet, calm and mess free apartment was his dream... this silence was his dream until Baekhyun brought Toben to destroy his neverland.

It's 9:31 and the usual sound of Baekhyun dropping something didn't come yet, the sound of Baekhyun's voice talking to him and the sound of Toben's bark are still missing.

The silence that he payed for is today a nightmare and he realised how massive his apartment is.

Everyone expects him to admit that he fucked up but he doesn't think he did. The only thing he thinks he did wrong was not telling Baekhyun.

Yeah he got scared. The cameras the flashes the questions.

Everyone is so quick to judge him but they wouldn't be able to stand in front of the cameras broadcasting to the entire nation and just come out.

He was sitting on the floor just like how he sees Baekhyun when he arrives from work when he heard the door opening and his heart skipped a beat.

He spent the night thinking about what to say to Baekhyun but now he has nothing to say.

Well at the end of the day it was not a problem because it was Suho, jongdae and Minseok.

"What are you doing here? I'm not going to work." Chanyeol immediately said.

"We are here to listen to you." Suho said sitting down "What happened there?"

Chanyeol doesn't know what happened. He just did what he thought would be right.

During the rest of the week Baekhyun buried himself with university work, the previous week he was falling behind but he managed to be ahead of his classmates. He wakes up early sleeps late and only eats if a friend drags him to eat something or brings food. He hasn't cried a single tear because he doesn't have time, as soon as he wakes up he has a lot to do and as soon as he touches his bed at night he falls asleep.

This affected Baekhyun so much that his bubbly,loud and talkative personality was gone. He was quite, only talking when asked something and even then he only used short answers and when possible he was alone.

This is worrying his friends a lot so they decided to change this habits the following week because they understood that Baekhyun needed some time and this time was a week because they don't want to see him damage his health.

As for Chanyeol, his week was miserable, he didn't show up to  no work, cancelled everything barely sleeps and barely eats. Yoora was so worried so she decided to take Toben to keep Chanyeol company. After Toben's arrival Chanyeol tried to stay alive as he had to feed and walk the dog. Who would've thought that the day that taking care of Toben would be Chanyeol's happiness?

They didn't contact each other during the week until Saturday morning when Chanyeol received a text message from Baekhyun.

Hello, I'm ready to talk and I would like to take Toben to my parent's house Today. If you are ready to talk i will be at your apartment at 10:30. If not we can talk another day and I will just pick up Toben.

When Chanyeol read the message he did not how to feel because Baekhyun never sent a message this awkward, not even the first time they texted each other, not even after arguments.

Also does he have to take Toben away from him? Is it some sort of revenge?

"Yes let's talk today."

Even though he just wanted to say I miss you I love you and I'm sorry.

He doesn't know why he agreed to have a conversation with Baekhyun while he has nothing prepared to say while he is sure that Baekhyun has a whole book prepared.

It was exactly 10:30 when the doorbell rang making Toben start to run around before sprinting to the door.

Chanyeol walked there slowly and saw Baekhyun standing there, he knew it was Baekhyun even though he was wearing a face mask a hat and what not to cover himself.

Chanyeol opened the door and Baekhyun seemed to wait to be invited in and so Chanyeol invited him in and Toben and Baekhyun ignored his presence and start to play with each other as they don't see each other for a week.

"Hello." Baekhyun bowed awkwardly.

"Hi, have a sit, make yourself at home." Chanyeol said "Baekhyun I'm sorry about the other day, I was trying my best to protect everyone but seems like I failed you out of all people. I'm so sorry."

If it was another conversation Baekhyun would probably drop an It's okay and belittle his feelings but not today.

"Hyung it felt like you slapped me across the face in front of the entire country, it was so frustrating and I still don't have words to describe how it feels, you gave me your word you know? I trusted you." Baekhyun said.

"I'm going to come out if you want I can do it right now. I was wrong I failed you and I don't want you the feel that way ever again." Chanyeol tried.

"You know since the rumour started I felt so violated, people made fun of me while I was walking, they took pictures of me to post online and to say how ugly am I and many other things... even after you said we were not dating and they are gradually leaving me alone I'm still not comfortable being at uni, the place I study and live I always think that someone is following me and taking pictures of me even when I'm on my own." Baekhyun explained "but this week one thing went well, I managed to focus on classes" Baekhyun laughed a bit "I guess I needed that time and I guess I want to continue having that time so..." bites his bottom lip " Hyung..." Baekhyun didn't want to say it but it was necessary "Let's break up."

"Baekhyun... please have so more time to think." Chanyeol was trying to hold his tears.

"I see love I feel love but I don't see future in us." Baekhyun said as if he was talking to his socks"I want to get married, I want to have kids, I want to have family holidays I want to have a family photo like my parents have." Baekhyun explained "I guess we are not on the same page. Maybe because I felt like I was bending backwards for us by handling all the things That I was going through I wanted you to bend backwards just like I did by coming out... but this time made me reflect and understand that I love you way too much to see you living your life uncomfortable to make me happy." Baekhyun said already crying.

Sometimes you have to make difficult decisions as an adult.

"You said that you accept me as I am and if you want me to come out I can come out I promise." Chanyeol said crying.

"Hyung I would never push anyone to come out, it's your time your story and you moment I just can't take it away from you." Baekhyun explained "I accept you the way you are that why I don't want you to do anything that you are not ready for and the fact that I accept you doesn't mean that I have to bend backwards and I don't want you do bend backwards because you like me and don't want to lose me."

"Can I at least see Toben every now and then?" Chanyeol accepted his faith.

"Yeah, eat well... don't neglect work because all of them trust you and depend on you but don't work too hard. You have to rest. Visit your family okay? Don't stay alone too often... I'm going to get our things." Baekhyun said and walked to collect what he could.

"See you around hyung." Baekhyun said before being pulled by Toben who thought they were going to the park. Not leaving their house forever.
