YOONGI: Three weeks. Three weeks before Christmas and all I hear from you is Rosé needs you here and there.

KATE: Are you serious right now? Rosé is my friend and she needed me. We always have time for each other, anyway. . .

YOONGI: It's childish. I'm the one cringing the most, but I don't want you spending time with someone else. . . I'm sorry if I sounded mad, but I just missed you so much. And trust me, that isn't even half the reason why I'm mad.

KATE: You just said you weren't mad!

YOONGI: Well, I am now! I can't believe you still talked with Seokjin even though I specifically told you not to.

KATE: I was handling it! It was Jin that kept following me. I did try to avoid him.

YOONGI: You didn't try hard enough.

KATE: Look, maybe I should just go. I don't want to argue with you about something like this.

YOONGI: Don't. That's why we're fighting— we are trying to fix this.

KATE: Fine, let's talk about it. But please, in a calmer way... try to calm down first, okay?

YOONGI: I told you to stay away from Jin. I have issues with him.

KATE: Just because you have issues with him, you think I should be involved in this family feud? Plus, I keep telling you— he kept talking to me!

YOONGI: Yeah! You are involved in this feud because you're my girlfriend. You're considered family to me now.

KATE: [ breathes ] Can you at least tell me why you are in such a rough patch with him? I don't know if I deserve to, but let me understand the situation. Did he steal something from you or. .

KATE: Why is your recorder blinking? Are you— you’re filming this, are you kidding me?

YOONGI: It wasn't on purpose! I was about to tell you I needed to record for a moment, but then you kept bugging me to tell you why I'm mad, I didn't realize it was still on all this time.

[ silence ]

KATE: Shut it down. Then we'll talk.

YOONGI: You know what? I don't want to talk about this. Leave me alone. Go home.

KATE: I want to fix this as much as you do—

YOONGI: PLEASE—! I don't want to end up losing you if I ever say something wrong.

[ staggering, door slamming, distinctive voices ]
