I cannot believe our first conversation went easier than I thought it would. I was comfortable talking about myself and. . and losing myself in the conversation talking about what's been happening to me. .

Even with my problem about my parents.

Well, perhaps it was because Kate was there to support me. She always has. From the very start. Before we even became friends.

She's special that way.

It was nice meeting you. Truly nice and all. I wouldn't mind going off again, but. . I'll be busy from now on. . since I have to work on new songs. . I have school. I'd most probably be working reluctantly back at my parents' restaurant.

But thank you for listening to me all this time. Through these tapes.

As for tomorrow, I'm going to watch my girlfriend perform in front of the whole school. I want to return the favor and show her that I care about her stuff, too. As much as she does with mine.
