YOONGI: You promised me. You owe me one.

KATE: Oh, you like that game, huh? How's this? Don't smoke for a month and I’ll sing for you.

YOONGI: A month? Are you insane?

KATE: I'm hearing a ‘no’?

YOONGI: Maybe I can wait for a few weeks and hear you sing during auditions, instead.

KATE: That is so unfair.

YOONGI: [ chuckles ] Then sing for me. Come on, baby.

KATE: W-WH— DON'T CALL ME THAT!

YOONGI: Wae? You're into it.

KATE: I'm not. I just— think your voice was hot. . .

YOONGI: [ teasingly ] Baby?

KATE: I hate you.

YOONGI: I lo— [ coughs ]

KATE: You were about to say something, what was it?

YOONGI: Nothing!! You misheard me.

KATE: No, no, I remember you saying l-o and then you cut yourself off. Could it be. . ? [ hums ]

YOONGI: I'm turning this thing off—

KATE: I love you, too.

YOONGI: Wait. WHAT—

KATE: [ starts singing so far away ]

YOONGI: Yah, don't ignore me.

KATE: [ still singing ]

YOONGI: I love your voice. It's beautiful, brava. Now, tell me if you just said you love me.

KATE: [ voice lowers down ] . . I do.

YOONGI: I do, too.

[ chu sound ]

KATE: Don't you feel ashamed now? Waiting for me to tell it to your first.

YOONGI: Ahhhh, I'm not. Jung Kate said she loves me.

KATE: Yoongi can't even say those simple words. Pft—

YOONGI: I love you. Jung Kate. I love you.

KATE: [ kissing sound ]

YOONGI: ..this was supposed to record your singing and yet you and I keep on kissing, instead.

KATE: Mark this as a private file. [ snorts ]

YOONGI: Done. Now, where were we?

KATE: Jisoo hasn't announced the dates for my audition. I'm going to have to keep singing until I do.

YOONGI: Doesn't sound like a problem to me. Keep going~

KATE: I think my voice sucks, I can totally tell by the way you're looking at me right now.

YOONGI: No, I'm in awe. It's my first time hearing you sing.

[ cellphone beeps ]

KATE:

KATE: It's Mom. She wants me to go home and study, since it's the weekend.

YOONGI: Does she not know you joined a club?

KATE: ...I could, but it would only remind her of Jimin.

YOONGI: You haven't told her about us, right?

KATE: No. . .

YOONGI: Well, why not introduce me, then?

KATE: Really? When? And are you sure about this? Won't you be. . .awkward and all?

YOONGI: Yes, really. Anytime. Oh, but I think Friday would be the best bet. And no, I won't. Maybe. . .I'd be nervous, but it's my chance. I can make them believe I'm a friendly little guy.

KATE: Can't believe you called yourself little.

YOONGI: I'm serious about this. Dinner date with your parents.

KATE: I sure hope this will work.

YOONGI: It will. I hope.

KATE: [ typing on her phone ] Come to think of it, you hardly ever mention anything about your family.

YOONGI: ...they're not worth visiting. I'm telling you. They'd probably care less. Especially, since it's me.

KATE: Yah, I never saw this side of you. Want to talk about it?

YOONGI:

YOONGI: Maybe next time. It's getting late. I have to get you home.

KATE: Okay. Make sure to shut that off. It might malfunction if you leave it on this time. .,

YOONGI: [ whispering ] Dinner with my parents? Pft. Yeah, ri—
