RECORDING 03

[Screen scratching sounds] I . . [static] personally think this record diary is going well for me. Especially coping with my anxiety. [clears throat] I’ve been able to maintain until the third recording; surely hope ‘til the end.

Anyway, this has been. . . [counting quietly] four days after my last recording, since nothing happened that much in those days.

I was doing my routine. . .I’m a delivery guy at the noodle restaurant Mom manages. She calls it Minoodles, because we’re the Min family and we’re. . .a family. . .restaurant. Regardless, it’s just for show. They had no idea what to name that in the first place. We deliver chicken, noodles, bibimbap, anything on the menu that can fit in behind my motorcycle. I get paid. It’s a double for me, since they don’t know I’m famous online and get paid big time.

Surprisingly, the police were the ones who ordered from me. What’s really surprising is that. . .Taehyung was there. I went and talked to him, of course, like the good friend I ought to be. He told me. . . his sister got murdered. In the fire. I was right, it was Lisa, the girl at the funeral. Maybe that's why I didn't see any of her family members or anyone who might know her.

He told me he got locked in prison for stealing money from the guy who was sleeping at the train station. ‘Who does that, with money sticking right out of his pockets?’ But more importantly, for killing his father. I know. I’m shocked to hear that myself. Nobody expected him to do this. Especially me. I know how great of a guy Tae is. Sometimes. . .the nicest people can be the most cruel when they lose the person they love the most, I guess. . .

I wanted to bail him out. Be in any help as I can. He told me I could; if I volunteer to be his witness. Based on sole facts he’s told me before, of course. . .good thing I remember the stories. The interrogation will start next week. I hope it bails him out. . .he had a valid reason for doing it. Continuous sexual harassment over his own children, abandonment, physical abuse and most probably too much intake of alcohol.

[smacks lips] His life is a mess right now. I’m not judging. I’d rather much want to help him get out. He doesn’t deserve this. . [sound of typing on phone keyboard] ‘I’m. . .gonna list those and memorize. . provide details and then be the lawyer he wasn’t provided with. . .’

[alarm rings] Speaking of which, I have plans for tomorrow with Kookie. [sniffs] Better get that Esmeraldo flower he loves so much for this visit. I missed his birthday a few weeks ago. . .I’m going to make it up to him.

‘Hyung is coming. .,’
