"Yoongi, I appreciate this. Though I am a bit worried-" Mrs. Jeon couldn't let go of her son or the fact that he might get in an accident once more if she leaves her eyes on him. This time, with someone she doesn't fully know or trust.
"Mom." Jungkook pouted at this, hiding behind his hyung, "I want to see the world. You promised!"
Yoongi didn't know when he could cut in between and tell them his plans, so he held the mother's hands and gave a reassuring look in his eyes as he spoke, "Don't you worry about us. We'll be safe. We're taking a cab. Or go for a walk."
A bit of the streets in Seoul. How bad could it be?
Yoongi finally escaped with Jungkook when they were told to wait for her at the hospital once all of this is over. It's only for a day. Knowing how little of Jungkook's stamina can take, they would only have time to visit about three places. So, the first thing the hyung asks his dongsaeng is: "So, where should we go to first? A place to eat?"
"Eo!" Jungkookie had never felt so ecstatic, getting to choose a place all on his own. "I want to go to that noodle place. Everyone kept talking about it."
He had a bad feeling his instincts got the best of what JK was talking about.
"Is it. . . Minoodles?"
Kookie nodded his head a couple of times like a bobblehead doing his purpose in life living in a car. "Can we? Can we? Mom said you work there."
That was a tough call. Going back to that place, letting his mother see him- it would ruin the whole plan of letting him see the good places. "Ah, as much as I love going there, how about we go someplace else? Mom is quite busy at the moment, so she won't get to meet you."
There was the pouty face again, but it sure cleared up when Yoongi brought him to the museum.
"What do people do in this kind of place?"
Yoongi chuckles at the younger's question. "Look at portraits and stuff. It may sound boring, but-"
"Let's go in there."
Unknowingly, a hidden memory about his dreams started coming back to him again. He was amazed by the colors and the statues standing right in front of him, exactly like in his dream. Jungkook forgot to tell this detail, but he figured his hyung knows more than he already should; so he simply enjoyed his time with him.
Yoongi took him to places. The best ones to create new moments they can remember spending together. They strolled through aesthetically-painted streets, rode exclusive rides at the amusement park, and before they could go to Minoodles, like Yoongi promised but hopefully make JK forget about it and take him to someplace else, he took the younger to an ice-cream parlor.
"Anyone would be so lucky to have you." He blurts out while he was still amazed how ice-cream tasted for real.
"Eh? What's with that, all of a sudden?" Yoongi chuckles, checking the time on his phone on how much time he has left with him.
"Your family paid for my hospital bill,"
"It was our fault in the first place."
"Well. . you visit me regularly."
"I admit, it was out of guilt. But no. It's because I wanted to see you're alright."
"You took me into your home where even your parents don't know where you live,"
The older smiled even more, feeling his heart float out of happiness from hearing that. He wanted to do more of it to his other friends.
"Y-You didn't think I was crazy when I told you I dreamnt of everything before they happened in the real world."
To be fully honest, he wasn't that convinced, but it's not like JK lost his mind, either. Just hoping it doesn't happen again- being in a coma, stuck in a terrible on-going dream.
"Yah," Yoongi pats him on the head, "at least you're okay now. Let's go somewhere we can eat at tonight."
"Minoodles! You promised." JK had never felt so alive at mentioning the name of the place. To meet his family who took care of him, to eat their food. However, Yoongi never looked so disappointed and exhausted, running a hand through his hair. "Hyung?"
"It's fine. Come on, we'll take a cab."

Cold eyes greeted both of them when they arrived. Especially at Jungkook, although he doesn't know it yet. He wasn't aware of Mrs. Min's non-verbal actions. Arms folded together, eyes squinted shut yet menacing, a frown never changing its expression.
"Who do you have here, Yoongi?"
"This is-"
Jungkook initiated the handshake and gave her an innocent smile she never forgot, wanting to spit on his face for being so nosy and conceited enough, thinking he's mooching off her son.
"Jeon Jungkook. I got out of the hospital. Your family has been really kind to me, paying for my bills and your son has been the sweetest, taking me to places I've never been before."
Yoongi clenched his fist at this situation and instead of pushing further to let her look down on him this way, he moved JK out of the way, making him take a seat somewhere while he orders the best dish for both of them.
"How could you bring that ungrateful brat here!?" Mrs. Min found her son snooping inside the kitchen without her permission. Yoongi knew better than to wait for his mom to reject his order, so he went out of his way to make it himself. "He mooched off your father for his expenses and now you-"
"Mom, it's not like that." Yoongi tried avoiding a fight between them so as not to let the younger hear.
"Yes, it is!"
He was gripping hard on the stove he was about to get servings from. His mom stopped him. "I want you to kick him out of here. Out of your life, especially."
"It was Dad's fault why he ended up in a coma in the first place! He should be the one guilty-"
Slap.
"How dare you. Your father has been working hard for this family and that's all you can say to him? Huh? After one mistake?"
"How about three?"
Mrs. Min had no choice but to swallow, her pride not wanting to give in. She wanted to end this fight with her being the adult of authority. She ended up taking the food from his hands and pushed him out of the area, "Get out. Both of you." And slammed the door in front of them.
Yoongi walked towards Kookie and dragged him out without saying a word.
"H-Hyung, you're hurting me. . ." Kookie wanted his arm free, but Yoongi only managed to stop to his tracks when they got somewhere far enough for him to break down without feeling stupid. Alone, in front of Kookie.
"Hyung?"
"I'm sorry, c-could we stay like this for a bit. . ?"
Jungkook felt more than happy enough to be of use to the older, sitting down beside him.
"Of course, hyung. You've always been there for me." It's his turn to return the favor.
