Kate
Seeing as Rosé sure got herself busy after finding someone to flirt with, Kate didn't mind at all whenever she's with them. She would just imagine how she and Yoongi would do those things together in their own way and she’d find herself smiling like an idiot.
“Kate! You're doing that weird face again.” Rosé laughs, wrapping the arm of the man she was with around her waist. “Thinking of somebody?”
“A–Ah, well. . . yeah.”
Of course she didn't tell anyone she was dating. How could she? It could increase the risk of people finding out Yoongi is Agust D. Plus, she knew how lowkey Yoongi would want to stay like, even when they can't keep their hands away from each other. All of a sudden, their club manager, Jisoo, came towards their way to interrogate; joining in the conversation to try and get friendly with the new members. “What are you girls hyping up about?”
“I– I, nothing.”
“I think Kate here is dating someone. You can tell by the way her cheeks were burning up when she was thinking about that man.” Her orange-haired friend continued to tease her, eventually, leading to an uncomfortable silence with their club manager.
“Who’s the lucky guy?” Jisoo broke the silence; she was unaware, alright, but somehow, she caught on, remembering the conversation they had in front of her that one time.
“Ahh, he'd rather keep a low profile, really. I'll take him here some time, if he's up for it.”
Jisoo didn’t speak much after that and decided to draw more attention regarding other issues like the budgetting plan crisis their club is facing. So they were thinking of recruiting some of the members to sing for charity for others to watch them perform. Without hesitation, Kate raised her hand, along with Rosé. “If she's going, I'm with her.” She claims, giving Kate a high five for it.
“OK, great! I'll announce the dates for auditions.” Before the manager could leave, Kate's voice tone caught her attention.
“Wait, what do you mean by auditions? Aren't we already part of the club?”
“Yes, you are, but still, rules are rules when it comes to this. We hold auditions for those who are worthy for the role. It’s been established since the beginning of the club, so,” As much as it sounded unfair and unnecessary for the auditions, Kate shrugged it off, letting Jisoo get on her way to take control of other parts of Beyond the Scene.
"Hi, you two," A tall, playboy-looking man approached them out of the blue. "Do you know where I can find Kim Jisoo? I think she's the club leader here."
Kate simply pointed at her going the other direction, getting a quick thank you from him as he ran towards her. They seem close.

Kate saw Yoongi beside the gym, hanging out by himself on his motorcycle while drinking coffee. She covered his eyes for a second, causing him to scoff a bit while he held both of her hands. "I wonder who this could be?"
She rolled her eyes at his sarcasm, but sat beside him on his vehicle, anyway, for the news. "I'm getting an audition. Jisoo-unnie is going to be one of the judges, I think. I'm going to sing."
"Really?" Yoongi tried ignoring the fact that she just mentioned Jisoo, seeing as he hasn't really told her about their past. "We've been together for three months, how come I've never heard you sing?"
"You never ask me to." Yoongi pats her on the leg while he rode his motorcycle, gesturing her to hop on. "Where are we going? I'm. . . still scared of motors."
"I promise it won't be that far."
Kate may have gulped a couple of times, thinking this through and through, but once she finally got on, wrapping her arms around his waist, they started off slowly; making their way to the nearest convenience store in school. He got off. Meanwhile, Kate was still confused as to why he brought her there. Turns out he was buying another pack of cigarettes.
"Yoongi."
"See? I told you, you could do it. It's not that scary, right?" He was obviously trying to change the subject by comforting her as an excuse to get out of it.
"Yoongs, you promised me you're stopping this," Kate decided to test him out, opening her hand to wait for him to give in the pack. "You either give that back or I'm not talking to you."
He couldn't believe this; he was on the verge of wanting to puff something out of his mouth right now. Unfortunately (for him), he gave it up, storming out of the store. Kate followed behind him, pulling him into a tight hug from behind, "That's a start, okay?"
Yoongi was shaking his head, "You know I'm going to buy them some time. When you're not around."
"Fine by me. As long as you do stop soon enough. . try to get used to it."
He grabbed her forearms, caressing them in his grasp while looking far away from the scenery. They were hugging in front of the public; not something he usually does when he's dating. Not when he used to go out with Jisoo.
"Let's make a deal."
"What kind of deal?"
"I'll tell you about my ex if you let me smoke for the day."
"No, I don't need to know about your past lover."
"What if I tell you, it was Jisoo?"
"Jisoo? As in— my club leader, Kim Jisoo?" As tempting as it was to find out about their story, Kate couldn't. At the thought of it. It'd be like backstabbing her and spreading the bad word about the reason behind their breakup. Although. . . "That's impossible. She doesn't look like she's dating anyone?"
"We already broke up way before we met." Yoongi was leaning against his bike, pretending to smoke something. Kate can't handle his want for smoking; it's his life. And she's being trapped for wanting to find out about their love story.
"Buy the damn cigarettes and tell me about it." He felt a huge sense of relief, going back into the store to claim the pack he left earlier. Soon after, he lit one already, staring at the initials Kate wrote on his lighter: Y.K.
He did feel guilty, just like she said he would.
"Jisoo and I dated for a year. I liked her when we were freshmen, she liked me. The usual." He puffed out a smoke, giving her a handkerchief to cover her nose with, which she gladly accepted. "But. . . you know me. I don't like PDA's and I rarely get all clingy and shit. Jisoo wanted what I couldn't possibly give her. So. . eventually, we ended things."
It sounded completely normal. Not too much details were spoken. Typical Yoongi. However, she was still glad it was he who brought it up for her; and that he was honest with her. "People can change. Don't look down on yourself that much."
He nods with an, "I know," response. Fetching another stick for his self-comfort. "About your voice, I want to hear it."
"Ehh?" Kate could feel her cheeks burning up out of embarrassment. "N-No way— you're a professional at this, I don't want you judging me."
He lightly flicks her on the ear, at the same time, pulling her in by holding on to her chin, to check if there were any dirt that blew on to her face. Thankfully, there were none. "Trust me, talents deserve to be shared. Come on, for Agust? Eo?"

Kate kissed him when he brought her home.
Her smile faded at the sight of her mom working on her laptop again at the dining room table. She tried her best sneaking herself up to her room, but to her dismay, she was caught in the act.
"Kate? Where have you been, young lady?"
"Oh, um, I was out with, a friend."
Mrs. Jung pressed the power off button and closed the lid of her device before standing up to talk to her daughter. "A friend? You mean, the man you met at the funeral before?"
Kate held on to her arm regretfully, hoping her Mom would let it slide this time and not ask any more questions. "Yes. . . we're schoolmates."
"You sure you're not dating him?" A smile crept up to her face at the idea. Not creepily, but rather, anticipating it was true.
But Kate, frozen to her position, couldn't confirm it for this. "Ah, no, we're just study buddies."
"Oh," she sighs disappointedly, placing her laptop into her bag. "Well, whatever it is, I hope you still do well in class, hm? I'm expecting A+ st the end of the semester."
"Yes, Mom." And in she went to plop into her own bed.
"That was a close one. But why did I have to keep it a secret? Ugh."
