Yoongi was back in the hellhole again. Having to suffer not having anyone to talk to in class; not that that’s the main problem. He's going to have to see Seokjin everyday again.

Plus, this happened.

"I need a favor."

Funny how that came from his ex-girlfriend, Jisoo, who was having a hard time promoting her club.

"You want me to be your errand boy again?"

"You're right," she shook her head at the idea, about to walk away from an embarrassing rejection. "I'm sorry. I can go find someone else." Thankfully, Yoongi didn't and took those flyers himself. Raising his arm up high to extend and make sure everyone who passes by gets one.

"Thanks for doing this."

"It's the least I can do, after. . .y’know."

Jisoo clings on to what's left of the flyers in her hands, closing in to plant a kiss on his cheek. "I'll go someplace else to promote this. I'll be right back."

Surprisingly, Kate was there to see him. "Oh? You're a Music Major and a club president? Wah. This day keeps getting better and better!"

"Jung, what are you doing here?" Not that he didn't remember her first name. He did. It’s so easy to. But they aren't close, nor do they even talk much to each other.

"My dad is Mr. Jung. He teaches Literature here." She claimed her position by standing straight and tall, hands in front of her and trying to lean in to read the content of his promotion. "My dad wanted me to get a tour on campus. Oh, and advanced summer classes."

Yoongi looked around to check if anyone was listening, especially Seokjin. With that, he held her by the wrist and dragged her close, placing the papers on the table first to get things straight. "Look, I'm not your. . .brother’s friend. I'm barely even an acquiantance to him."

Words could not begin to describe the shock on Kate's face to this news. But he continued, anyway, before it gets out of hands of being invited over to them again. "I'm sorry I didn't get to tell you sooner. You and your family kept cutting in between my lines, I could've explained then. So. . .if you're acting like this towards me because of your brother, don't. This university is filled with different— way better people than me."

That ought to do it, he thought. Getting rid of the awfully disturbing feeling off his chest.

"I knew that." It was his turn to be shocked at her reply. "You were never really interested hearing my stories about him and you've never really told me any moments you two shared. I figured, it was either you were an aloof person or that you didn't know him at all."

It was both, he told himself. When Yoongi was first approached by Jisoo before dating her, he rarely ever tells her about his life or underground job. This wasn't new.

"I just hoped I'd make a friend, if that's okay."

That smile. The sad smile. It was the same one Tae gave him when he brought the news about not being able to defend his side.
