-~ Garroth's POV ~-

Oh how much I wanted to kiss her soft lips as soon as I saw her. I could hear her calling and I bolted out of Aph's house looking for her. She explained to me what happened to her in her "dream". I looked at her puzzled and destressed face. Even when she was upset she was beautiful... how had I not realized all this before?

"Would you.. ahem, mind if I kiss you right now?" I asked, my ears glowing red. She smiled warmly. Wait- she wasn't wearing her cloak. That is odd. She began leaning in and my lips brushed against hers. I cupped her cheek with my hand and she wrapped her hands around the back of my neck. Her warm lips crashing against mine was by far the best feeling in the world. I forgot about my worries, my past and my pain. Right now, me and her were the only people in existance. She pulled away from our kiss, and I realized how many people were staring at us. I turned crimson, but she stared them down with an innocent determination.

There were murmers in the crowd surrounding us, and to my surprise, Aph was beaming with delight. She mouthed a "Good job", and I grinned back. "Alright, so are you just gonna stand there like idiots or are you gonna give us some peace?!" She yelled jokingly. Someone, I think Brendon, replied with "I'm looking at your face! And those eyes! Why did you hide?" He yelled. She turned scarlet, realizing that she didn't have a cloak on. She ran down the streets to her house. "Really guys?" I asked dissapointedly, and they looked at me with sorry eyes. I ran after her.

~- Amber's POV -~

Everybody has seen me now... maybe they will forget...                                                                                                 Oh, who am I kidding.. they'll never forget...  I was interrupted by Garroth barging in. "I'm sorry... This is all my fault, I shouldn't have kissed you.." He said immediately after walking in. I gave him a weak smile. "It is not, I mean, they were bound to find out eventually, I suppose.." I replied with a hint of sadness in my voice. "I'm just... I didn't want it to to be this soon.. what if someone turns me in to O'khasis, I mean, the reward they must be offering for people to find me..." My voice trailed off. "Don't event think like that!" Garroth said, now almost even angry. "I wouldn't let them!" Tears were now threatening to spill out.. somebody cared about me.

Maybe they will forget.

"Garroth, what do you want?" I asked, and he looked at me like he wasn't sure how to answer that. "I want you to be happy. What would make you happy?" He asked. "Well.. my father, but, it appears he only can talk to me when your dead.." I answered shakily. His eyes widened, but I put a finger to my lips. "Don't ask." I said, and he slightly chuckled. "You need some rest, that's what you need." He finally said. "I can't fall asleep..." He looked at me with sympathy. "Unless, you sing me a lullaby.." I added mischievously. He blushed. "I can't sing." He said simply. "I HEARD YOU!" I yelled in reply. "Fine.." he said, now with pink ears. "Yay!" I grinned, hopping into bed. He took off his armor, (A/N YES HE HAS CLOTHES ON! GAWD YOU DIRTY MINDED PEOPLE!) and sat on the bed with me. (Play the video)

I soon found myself drifting to sleep... but I woke up as quickly as I fell asleep. "Ah, here you are!" Said a familiar voice. "Lady Irene? Where's Garroth? Am I sleeping?" I said. "Kinda. Okay so, let's do this quick. You are more powerful than me. Do you realize that? And by the way, Garroth is still singing! Here listen!"  She snapped her fingers and I could suddenly hear Garroth. Sure enough, he was singing. I smiled. "If you ever forget how much you really mean to me, every day I will... remind you!" He sang. "Aw, okay. Back to business-" I cut in. "Can you bring Emmalyn into this? Please?" I asked. She rolled her eyes irritably. She clicked her fingers and Emmalyn appeared. "Where am I?" She asked sleepily. "OH MY" She screamed, but her mouth could no longer feel words. "I-I-I-I-Irene?" She stuttered. Lady Irene nodded. "Wait, is that Garroth singing? WOW!" She said happily. "Oh, hi Amber!" She said, noticing me. "OH MY GOSH I AM IN THE PRESENCE OF LADY IRENE! AHHHHH!" She cntinued screaming. "Ahem, I need to do this quick!" She said, glancing at Emmalyn. "Oh.. sorry, right.." She said. Her ears turned pink. "Amber, you are a very special descendant of mine. You have inherited not only my powers, but also things I could do. Such as bringing back dead. But only people you love deeply.." She said. I turned scarlet. I loved Garroth deeply. "Anyway, here are some other things you can do. You can control people, but that is extremely difficult. You can also glide, but it takes a lot of skill.. you can control both water and fire, and you can also use witchcraft. And, animals can understand you. You can probably do more than that, though." She said, as if it was normal to find out that you can do all that stuff. I looked at Emmalyn who was fangirling SO HARD.

The bell rang. "I will see you again, soon..." Irene said as she started fading away. I woke with a start back in my bed. Strong arms were draped over me. I smiled. Garroth. I wiggled out of his grip, trying not to wake him, but I failed. He smiled sleepily and as he looked at me. "Morning" He said yawning. "Good morning, love. I gotta run, okay? I'll tell ya about it later!" I said throwing on my cloak. "Wait!" He said grabbing my wrist. "I need two things." He said. "Yeah?" "I need a kiss before you go." He said. With that I collided my lips with his, but it only lasted like, two seconds. "Much better," He grinned. "Now, when you get back, I'm expecting to hear a song, since I sang for you." He said. I nodded and left.

I found myself practically banging down Emmalyn's door. She opened quickly. "Ah! I was wondering when you'd get here! Hehe, I'm so excited! Okay, come on in!" She said, gesturing for me to enter. I gingerly walked in, taking in every detail of her house. "You have a lovely house." I said warmly, breaking the awkward silence. "Blah blah, let's get straight to it. Try and make me... dance!" She said. I closed my eyes, trying very hard to make her dance. "Er... it's not working.." I said, looking up. She was stiffling laughter. "What?" I asked. "Bahaha! YOU LOOKED SO FUNNY! HAHAH" She yelled. I think this whole Irene thing has gotten to her. "Maybe... let's try witchcraft!" She said. "Um, I don't know anything about this." I told her, puzzled. "Hehe, of course you don't! That's why I called Lucinda!" She laughed. *DING DONG* "Oh, that's her!" Emmalyn said swiftly moving to the door. "Hello!" I heard a voice say. "Well, I already told you what you were here for, so.. go ahead!" Emmalyn said, leaving. 

"Hi, you must be Lucinda!" I said cheerfully, offering my hand. "Ah, that's right! My reputation proceeds me! Or Emmalyn just told ya!" She said laughing. I nodded. "Now, I don't teach anyone whom I don't know what they look like!" She said seriously. "Oh.. er.. okay.." I said, slowly removing my cloak. "Okay, thanks. Wow, cool eyes! That sounds wrong... anyway, let's start with the basics!"

"You're positive that you've never done witchcraft, correct!?" She said, her eyes focused on the green bubbling potion in my hand. "Positive." "B-But it took me YEARS to get that!" She replied, her mouth hanging open. "Well, it seems that... you are.. just wow. WOW." She said. I laughed. "Thanks." "You should... go to Kiki, see if her animals understand you.." She said, still staring fixedly at my potion. I laughed, and threw on my cloak. "Hey, we should be friends!" She said, standing up. "Um, okay!" I replied, smiling. Friends.

"It was really great meeting you, then, Lucinda." "Yeah.. but tell me, why do you wear that cloak?" She asked curiously. I smiled. "Some things are not to be spoke about.. I'll see ya later." I told her as I walked out the door. She shrugged, and I made my way down the streets of Phoenix Drop. I grinned like an idiot, as I thought about how this time, things might work out. Well.

"Oh! Hi, Jasper! Kiki, what brings you to my barn?" Kiki giggled. "Well, I was wondering, if I could... er.. talk to your animals?" I asked oddly. "Erm, okay! Kikiki!" She chirped. She led me inside her barn. "I know it's an odd request, but... it's been an odd couple of days.." My words faded. "Yeah, it sure has. Well, feel free to talk to them about whatever you want! Sometimes, it feels like they can really understand you." She said warmly. I nodded, and focused on a cow. "Um, Mr. Cow, can you please... spin around in a circle?" I asked hopefully. Kiki looked... confused. Sure enough the cow spun in a circle. "WOW! How did you do that?" Kiki asked, amazed. I laughed, and my eyes fell upon a black horse, with what looked like a whole galaxy embedded on her soft fur. "Zelda!" I said happily. She neighed, and flew over the fence holding back the animals. "Is she yours? I found her, and I was so excited! I was like, 'Oh my horse! A fairy horse!' and I had to take her here!" She rambled. "Yeah, she's mine. Her name's Zelda!" I smiled. "Well, thanks... I just wanted to see if that cow would... you know, so I best be going, but I'll see ya later!" I said warmly. "Of course! I'll see you soon then. Have a wonderful day!" She replied. I smiled at her and mounted Zelda. "Come on, girl. Let's find Emmalyn!" I said, patting her side. She began flying away, and I could tell Kiki was staring in amazement at Zelda in flight.

Well, that's two powers I have for sure.
