song of the chapter: your eyes tell - bts

I get out of class and begin walking towards my car, only to find Jungkook waiting for me with a smirk on his face. He leans against the wall, but begins his walk towards me. I smile as he comes to me, hugging me tightly.
"Hi." I laugh as he pecks my lips.
Jungkook intertwines his hands with mine as he begins to drag me to where our friends stand. I furrow my eyebrows as Jungkook takes my car keys from my hand silently, giving them to Hana who nods.
"What's going on?" I ask as he turns to me with a big smile on his face.
That smile, that super cute smile.
"Today we are going to our date! Hana is taking your car to her house." Jungkook tells me happily.
I stand bewildered watching as my friends wore smiles on their faces.
"You all planned this! No wonder you have been jittery all day, Tae." I say in realization.
Taehyung can never lie. You can tell when he does immediately.
Taehyung chuckles, "It was hard keeping this from you."
"I called them yesterday and asked for their help." Jungkook admits before taking my hand.
"Let's go baby." he tells me and I blush instantly.
As we walk to his car, I hear Hana exclaim loudly, "Have fun lovebirds, but not too much fun!" she laughs as Jimin playfully hits her, earning a loud laugh from Taehyung who runs behind them.
I hold Jungkook's hand as we continue our walk, smiling from ear to ear as my heart continues beating faster whenever he caressed the back of my hand.
Life has never been better.

"You did not just lie to me about this ride! It's a haunted house, not a ride about a nice little mermaid!" I reprimand as Jungkook laughs, his hands on his knees.
We had just gotten out of a haunted house that was themed around sirens. Jungkook had convinced me to go since apparently it was about a mermaid similar to Ariel from the little mermaid and certainly kid friendly. Which was a big lie since the exterior was a cute boat but inside, it was not cute at all.
Long story short, I have never screamed so much in my life.
Jungkook chuckles before getting silent as he catches my glare.
"I'm sorry." He hugs me from behind, his hands by my waist.
I hit him lightly, "You should be." but once I look at him, he begins laughing and so do I.
Our fits of laughs and giggles earn us stares from the other people at the fair, but we do not care. We are in our little world. Just him and I.
We walk to a small park at the fair where there is a few people there. He stops walking and stands behind me.
"I have something for you." Jungkook whispers to be from behind me as he leaves one hand on my waist and the other slightly leaves my hold.
In a blink of an eye, a small red box is in his free hand, right in front of me.
I turn around and face him, astonished, "W-what?"
He chuckles, looking at me before opening the box.
I gasp. A small ring with a blue diamond glows in the box. He takes my hand, placing the ring around my finger.
"This," he motions to the blue diamond, "color means loyalty and trust. I will always be loyal to you, you can trust me," he explains, leaving me breathless.
"I'll there for you, I won't leave like before," he continues, "because I love you. You mean the world to me, and this ring is my promise to you." he finishes explaining to me.
I stay silent, taking in his words. A promise. That is a meaningful promise, one that we will never break.
My senses abandon me, feelings taking over my whole mind. I take his face in my hands and press my lips against his. Our breaths mingle together, our lips taking part in a dance that only we can understand.
I stop kissing him, caressing his cheeks.
"I love you," I reply, "so much."
He smiles before pecking my lips quickly, "I love you, my heart belongs to you. Always."
My heart belongs to him, too.
Always.
