It was a starry night when we met. I was spending time with my family, while he was hanging out with his friends.

I had decided to take a night-time stroll by myself. Turns out I had found a cave and stared at it; it was so small that only a few people standing could fit. Just as I was about to go in, a voice stopped me.

"You shouldn't be here."

My delusional self started thinking who had talked.

A vampire? A thief? Am I being killed?!

"Let me rephrase that," he cleared his throat, "you shouldn't be alone at a place like this." the boy continued.

I turned around and saw what could possibly be the most handsome boy. He stood at the entrance of the cave, hands in the pockets of his leather jacket. His skin looked soft. His dark hair was curly, highlighting his facial features.

I couldn't stop staring.

"Uh," I mumbled, the words leaving my mouth as I saw his features, "I'm not alone anymore, you're here now." I finished.

"Still, you don't know what could live here." he mentioned as he ran his hand through his short hair.

I scoffed jokingly, "I'm not scared."

He smiled then began speaking, "I can tell," he then pointed somewhere behind me, "still, watch out for the spider beside you."

What.

Oh.my.gosh

In a matter of seconds, I had screamed at the top of my lungs. My hands began acting by themselves, smacking away as I layed eyes on the tiny dark insect that crawled on its spiderweb beside me.

I ran and clashed with the boy's body. Without a second thought, I screamed, "Get it off, get it off me!"

He chuckled and held me.

I stopped screaming as soon as his hands patted my back. My eyes landing on his and I stepped back.

"I'm Jungkook." he introduced himself.

How could he introduce himself like that after I was almost attacked?

"I-I can't believe that you are so calm after I could've possibly be bitten to death by a spider?!" I stuttered as I began walking outside the cave, my arms crossed on my chest.

As I continued walking to where my family was, I heard footsteps behind me. Ignoring that noise, I kept going my way.

"Oh come on, stop exaggerating." he joked.

I stopped walking and turned around, staring at him. My cheeks were red, from both having him in front of me and the spider mishap.

"Exaggerating, did you see how big that thing was?" I retorted.

The boy, who's name was still new to me, nodded.

"Yeah. It didn't do anything to you, spidergirl." his lips formed into a smirk.

Unbelievable. I was not only almost attacked by a spider, but Jungkook had taken it upon himself to give me a nickname.

"S-spidergirl?" I scoffed in disbelief.

Jungkook chuckled, laying his back on a rock that was right beside the outside of the cave, "You didn't tell me your name, so from now on I'll call you spidergirl," he looked down as a smile formed on his lips, "you know, because of the spider incident."

This got me so mad. Not only is he handsome but also infuriating at its finest. But he was also cute.

"Ugh, I can't believe you!"

"I hope to see you again,  spidergirl."
