FIN. "Bang!"
ITS MY BIRTHDAY!! Officially 16 Years Old Lets All Hope This Day Doesn't Turn Out Badly
*******************
Devastation rocked through Kris, she was alone. He had been her last chance at happiness and he was gone. Kris struggled to even think his name. Her love, her mate was dead.
Kris felt powerless, maybe this was Lady Luna' punishment for killing so many.
She had taken the lives of fathers, mothers, sisters and brothers all without a thought that someone might have been waiting for them to come home.
Body shaking cries escape from her chest. She had never felt more alone than at that moment. Kris felt as if heart had been ripped out and stomped all over with no remorse.
"I'm sorry," she whispered over and over like a chant. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry."
Arms wrapped around Kris's shaking body from behind as she continued to sob.
"I should have died," she whispered her voice breaking, "it should have been me, I deserved to die not him."
"Is that truly Loki, Kris?" Vlader asked fearing the worst.
He had come up behind Kris to see her crying over a pale body crying her heart out. The curse on Loki must have lifted when he died. His green-blue eyes were still open staring blindly up at the clear sky. What shocked Vlader though was Loki had a small smile across his face. He was at peace.
Kris knew if she spoke she would once again break down, only this time she wasn't sure she wouldn't shatter completely, so she nodded in responses to his questions.
"I'm-"
Cutting him off Kris spoke firmly, "don't say anything Vlader, words are meaningless."
Vlader felt his heart pull for his mentor, but he knew he didn't know what she was going through and was unsure on how to help, so he simply cuddle her.
"How many are dead?" Kris asked still staring at her mate's pale face adoringly.
"The damage... its huge, Kris. Each specie has taken a hard blown to their numbers. The vampires only have about two-hundred give or take a few. The magic bound faired the best, they have roughly six hundred. The angels numbers are down to three hundred and seventy and the demons to three hundred and forty. The wolves took it the hardest, their about two hundred and fifty.
It'll take years to even stabilize the numbers again."
"The tunnels weren't infiltrated?" She asked trying to focus on something other then the cold body in her arms.
"No, all clear. That's another hundred on each specie count but like I've said it'll take generations for the numbers to be as strong as they once were."
They sat in silence a moment longer before Kris decided she better take charge.
She laid Lokis' body down carefully, make sure his body was perfectly place before standing.
"Listen up!" Kris shouted.
Attention was drawn to Kris immediately, she was aware that they could see the still not dried tears glistening on her cheek but for one Kris couldn't care what they thought of her.
"We have won this war," Kris let them cheer a moment before talking again, "but it has come at the cost of thousands of lives. We all have lost someone here today, but they have died fighting for their right to live, and that is most honourable death. We will remember them all.
"We need to carry the dead back to the castle. They will be hidden from those back in the tunnels, they do not need to see such tragedy. I don't care what specie you are, you will pitch in and help."
Everyone nodded confirming they will help.
"This wasn't about pity fights between species this is where we unite at OtherWorlders, proudly"
Cheers once again arose but this time she let them have their well earn victory.
Kris lent down and picked up Loki's body into her arm not once struggling with his dead weight.
Kris allowed the familiar emotionless mask to settle over her expression, she had shown enough emotion to last a lifetime. She would wait til she was alone then permit herself to shatter.

The once packed field in front of the castle steps loomed drastically empty compared to what it had been only days earlier.
"This war is over!" Roared Raphael from the centre of the steps.
"The bloodshed is finally over," Alice and Anna continued for him.
"We have finally united. Not just as OtherWorlders but friends." Marcus added.
"Let this be a lesson," Kris suddenly spoke up shocking everyone, it had been two days since the war and the same amount of time since anyone had heard her breathe a word.
"Let this be a lesson," she repeated. "Thousands have died because of a needless war. Do not let this tragedy happen ever again. Remember this and teach this to the next generation. The only thing war brings is death and devastation. Don't let history repeat itself again. Because even though we have won this war, doesn't mean you'll survive another.
"We are OtherWorlders yes, but we are not indestructible. We died like humans. Let this be a lesson," she repeat once again before returning to her silence standing a bit behind the others.
"We have buried the dead," Raphael begun again. "All the bodies have been identified and there is a headstone with their names, date of birth, a picture of them and message they left behind."
Kris remembered that any that had participated in the war and written a letter to their loved ones because they all new their was a chance not everyone would make back all.
"Transportation off IceGreen will arrive in two days."
With that everyone left, most heading to the far right of the island were the bodies had been laid to rest.
Loki still hadn't had his memorial, Kris was giving him his own ceremony tonight. She was giving him a kings send off. She knew Loki would never want to be buried in the ground.
Kris hadn't broken down yet, even as her body and mind fought to release her turmoil she held strong. She knew she wouldn't last much longer but she wanted to see Loki off before then.

Kris stood silently by herself as she watched the fire alight pyre slowly burn, it was truly a kings burial.
A ship burial was what Loki had always wanted, he had told her so himself many months ago.
Kris could hardly believe it had been so long, time had flown by so fast Kris hadn't been given the chance to hold onto the moment that meant the most.
On Loki's pyre Kris had placed a golden staff, jewelry, his sword and as many riches as she felt he deserved. It was important that she sent him off with the the right possession so he would be received in the afterlife well.
As the pyre begun to sink Kris collapsed to cold wet ground her fingers digging unto the soft ground as she tried to control the breaking feeling from within.
Great gasps struggled their way from Kris lips as she finally gave into the overwhelming emotions.
"Ahh!" Kris suddenly started to scream, pounding the ground as if to force an answer out of it.
Why? Why her? Why did this have to happen to her?
Worthless! She screamed at herself in her mind. Pitiful! You couldn't even keep your mate alive!
Weak! Weak! Weak! Weak!
Was the only thought Kris could hear. Her body moved like she was having a fit as she threw her self down, as her claws ripped layers of skin of where every they caught.
She couldn't control herself. Kris was lost in her mind, fighting her demons as her body shook.
Tears poured down her face like a raging never ending river.
Kris flipped onto her back and her eyes stared up at the full glowing moon and again she roared up at the moon in anger.
"Why?!" She screamed her body twisting causing her to harm herself but she took no notice.
Eventually the fight left Kris and she flopped down hard into the ground, tears dripping soundlessly as she stared out blankly out at the water where the pyre and her love had sunk to the depths.
She didn't move even when the rain started pouring and the wind picked up, she just laid soaked to the bone never noticing her shivering body.
Truth be known, she couldn't feel anything. Kris was numb.
Without even realizing it Kris's eyes closed just as the sun peaked over the horizon.

"We're leaving tomorrow sweetie," Kyo said stroking Kristy's hair lovingly while Ashley held her in his arms, as they all sat on her pink bed in the temporary pack house.
"Will I get to see Auntie Kris before we leave?" The raven haired girl asked.
The two adults stiffened up both remembering visiting the castle early that day and seeing Kristy's 'Auntie Kris'. She was in no ways fit enough to see anybody.
When they had gone to say goodbye they found her sitting in her throne staring aimlessly up at the selling. She didn't appear to have heard anything anybody had said around her, it was like talking to a dead body.
"Arr... that won't be possible baby girl," Ashley finally told her.
"Why not?" Kristy whinned, she only wanted to see her auntie. Why were they keeping her away from her?
Kyo sighed softly before telling Kristy, "your auntie has been through a lot sweetie. She may look strong and beautiful but she has been hurt many many times. Your Auntie Kris is like a piece of painted glass, it looks like it'll never break but with a single tap it shatters."
"Is it because Uncle Loki died?" She whispered to her dads.
"Yes," Ashley said taking over the conversation, "she isn't up for visitors baby girl. She hurt and sad and needs some time alone."
"Alright," Kristy whispered sadly.
Kyo pulled Kristy out of his mates arm and into his, tucking her head into his neck.
"Its okay, sweetie. Your auntie is strong," Kyo told her hoping he was right.
"Time for bed now, baby girl," Ashley said breaking the silence between the pair.
"Don't daddies get a kiss?," Kyo teased when she jumped into bed.
"Goodnight Daddy Kyo," she giving him a kiss on the cheek before turn to Ashley and giving him the same treatment. "Goodnight Daddy Ashely."
Ashley and Kyo both waited til Kristy closed her eyes and her breathing evened out before leaving the room.

Kristy wait a little while later before getting up and changing into day clothes.

Not really having a destination Kris wandered around the empty corridors the moonlight shining bright through the windows lighting her way.
Not she was looking where she was going Kris just let her feet take her where ever the choose.
Thoughts tormented her every constantly, dragging her down further in a pit within her mind.
Kris looked up and found herself at her old office. She stood in the threshold a few seconds before she striding to the desk which held all the answers.
Carefully opening the draw as if she was scared might alert others as to what she was doing.
Kris simply stared at the steel instrument sitting in the centre of the draw, seemingly harmless.
She reached in and took out the 44. Remington Magnum, one of her favourite weapons.
Releasing a gust of air as she finally had ahold of the cold weapon with a firm hand.
She slipped the gun into a pocket in her cloak and left the room determined for the first time in days.
Kris walked slowly to the throne room which reminded her of the one were all this misery started.
Sitting like she always did - with one leg thrown over the arm and the other on the ground - Kris retrieved the 44. Magnum and held it to her temple.
Kris closed her eyes as she prepared to pull the trigger, when a voice called out to her.
"That's no way to go Kris," a chuckle accompanied the words.
Kris eyes flashed open at the familiar voice and her heart stuttered at the sight of him.
"Loki..." Kris whispered.
"The one and only love," Loki cheekily grinned.
This was the Loki she had missed, he'd been so loving and kind before the war had begun to take its toll.
Loki used to sit up with her til the sun came up just taking to her. He'd kiss her scars when ever she tried to hid them from her.
Tears pricked at her eyes and dropped the gun onto the arm of the chair.
She threw herself into his arms breathing in his scent.
"Your alive," Kris breathed hardly controlling herself as she squeeze him in her tight grip.
"About that..." Loki trailed off.
Kris's gaze quickly shot to his face and took in the emotion of guilt.
"What? What is it now?" She near sobbed.
"I'm not alive, I died."
"But your here! I can touch you!" Kris rushed boarding on hysterics.
"I'm just here to make sure if you pick up that gun again that you are sure." He said staring intensely into her eyes.
"I want to be with you," Kris confided returning his stare.
"I'm dead, sweetie," he told her again as if she didn't know. "But that isn't the answer, you got to really think about this, once you go through with it there is no return." He said making sure the message got across.
A crease formed itself between her brows as concentrated hard on the things he had said.
Loki begun to hum a soft melody for them as he pulled Kris into his arms begun to twirl her.
They waltzed slowly to the tune Loki sung.
Did she want to die? Kris asked herself.
Yes, yes did. There was nothing left for her.
Vlader and Angeles had been excepted into a pack so they wouldn't need her.
Jasper was not the wimpy sixteen year old anyone, he would find someone to love and forget about her.
Kristy, her sweet un-biologic niece. How could she corrupted such innocence with her poisonous world? She deserved the world at her fingertips.
She would have Kyo and Ashley to protect her and they would have each other.
She wasn't needed. They wouldn't care, no one would. She just be another dad among thousands, soon to be forgotten.
No one loved her anyway, she was unworthy to receive such emotion from anyone.
She wept silence tears into Loki's hard chest, the truth hurt a lot.
She was truly worthless.
"Do you remember that time you took me on a picnic?" Kris asked to distracted herself from the depressing thought clouding her mind.
"How could I forget," Loki asked, amused. "I woke you up at two in the morning and dragged you out. You were so mad you didn't speak for the entire date."
"That's my favourite memory of us."
"You didn't even talk," asked bewildered.
"But you tried through the whole night. Anyone else wouldn't have tried and just left. It was also the first time you told me you loved me," Kris reminded him, following his lead as they continued to dance.
"You didn't say it back."
"I did you just didn't hear," she told him.
The danced slowly in comfortable silence. Remember both the food and bad memories. Life really hadn't gone their way.
Loki reluctantly broke the silence, "have you decided? I can't influence your decision, it is entirely up to you, my love."
"Yes, I have decided," she spoke softly.
"I must go, my beautiful queen," Loki said staring sadly into her eyes tears streaked down his cheeks matching hers.
"I love you, you know that right?" Loki asked, silently telling her to live on, he'd wait for her.
"As I love you, Loki Nicholas Reed, King of the wolves," Kris smiled up at her feeling lighter that she had in years.
Loki disappeared as quickly as he had came, leaving no trance to say his presence had been here.
Kris walked back to the throne and sat quietly, feeling content.
She picked the Magnum up from the arm of the throne and smiled placing the gun at her temple for the second time this night.
Kris inhaled deeply before her fingers pushed on the trigger.
