Kris stood rigid slightly away from the other on the steps of the castle entrance, wanting to have no interaction with any living thing. She couldn't believe she had been so weak, she had shown the side she had burried deep within her. The second she fled from the room Kris had push those pitiful emotion to the darkest recess of her mind, not having the energy to put up with those feelings.
"How do you know this?" Someone asked, Kris didn't bother to look to see who, she didn't care.
"Queen Kris informed us of this," she recognised Raphael's voice.
"How do you know what the DarkOnes are doing?"
It had taken Kris a few moments to realize that the question was directed at her, "what?"
The man who ha been asking the question stood at medium height with brown hair and brown eyes, if he hadn't been speaking Kris would have overlooked without a thought, there was nothing remarkable about the man.
"Why do you think that the DarkOnes have stolen the bodies of our dead and somehow," he paused struggling to find the right wording, "revive them?"
"Reivied?" Kris laughed mockingly, "they are not revived. If that was so they would think, remember who they were in their past life. They are nothing but living breathing puppets, you'll see them as your son, daughter, brother, sister, cousin, mother, father and friend but they will only have one aim, and that it is to slaughter you and they will without even hesitating. And that exactly what you will do, you'll hesitate and be just another dead, another for your family to mourn over," Kris snarled viciously angered that he had questioned her.
The man paled and stepped back, blending in with the crowd once again just another faceless person in the crowd.
"Seeing as you have the most knowledge it would be best if you continue." Michelangelo commented.
Sighing Kris walked to the centhe of the staircase to where she was in plain view if the nervous crowd.
"Powerful DarkOnes if they possess the strength they can control magic-" Kris lifted her hand signaling for quite among the erupted whispers, "Don't interrupted me I have little patience and will most likely kill someone if my anger is triggered."
That quieted the field down instant, no one was willing to risk their head.
"As I was saying, powerful DarkOnes if they obtain enough strength they can control magic. The magic isn't like the magic bound posses, no," she shook her head, "their magic is influenced by menacing darkness. For every spell they have to sacrifice an innocent being, normally human children, babies, just killed." Kris finished in a whisper, normally she wouldn't have cared so much but now she had meet and known Kristy. She couldn't help but feel angered over the thoughts if someone harming her.
"How I came across this knowledge I won't tell you," you wouldn't believe in a dream, "but I have seen it many years ago.
"I have arranged for Queen Anna and Queen Alice of the magic bound to cast a spell over everyone. A bright red band will be seen by all that are on our side. It'll also send of a signal, like a sort of aura, you'll be able to sense if someone is on our side.
"Okay!" Kris shouted making sure she had everyone's full attention, "I need you to make sure everybody is here, this isn't a time to fuck around, if someone isn't Herr make it known. Because if I find out you keep anything a secret you won't be fighting in the war tomorrow," she let the sink in, she could see some people shifting slightly as if thinking that would be their ticket out of the war, "you'll be dead."
"Ma'am!" She heard someone call out, Kris turned and saw a quivering barely a teen boy fidgeting with his shirt, his head was lowered and his inky black hair hid his face.
"Yes boy? And look up when you speak."
"Umm... umm General Loki isn't present, ma'am." He stuttered.
Kris didn't move but continued to stare at him, she had to admire his courage to speak up but that didn't mean she had to li.ke the news he brought.
"Thew world just loves to fuck me over doesn't it?" Kris grumbled to herself, "someone go fetch General Loki quickly."
"Are you alright Kris?" Asked Vlader concerned, Angeles standing in his arms looking equally worried.
"No," she answered surprising them both, "I'm not alright."
"Has my brother done something again?" Angeles asked.
"No Loki hasn't done anything, I'm just... don't worry I'm fine," Kris said her tone warning them against push for my answers.
"Everyone's here now, Queen Kris!" The boy from before called out.
Kris took a deep breath in an attempt to calm herself but only drew in her mates scent, putting her more on edge.
"Queen Anna and Alice will now perform the spell."
"Hello," Alice said in high chime like voice, "my sister and I need everyone to form a human chain, grab the person next to you leave no one out."
The crowd quickly took formation, the royal and reps all joining in as well. Kris was unfortunately stuck between Raphael and Loki, the later of the two who was trying to retch his arm from her grasp. She only dug her nails into his formarms both relishing is the tingles the mate bond produced and hating that she would only feel this for mere moments.
"Constituite diem in rubru,
Arcendos hostes,
Videamus veritatem
Cum scimus nihil aluid,
Libera nos,
Matte Magia.
(Bind the present in red,
Ward off our enemies,
Let us see the truth,
When we know no difference,
Keep us safe,
Mother of Magic.)
A shimmer of of colours glittered of the whole crowd receiving a collective intake at the beauty, s sudden pain caused through them as the spell took hold.
Magic always hurts people that aren't of magic bound blood, a little pain for a even greater gain.
Though it appeared only Kris thoughts that because when she looked over the crowd, she was the only one still standing - other then those with magic blood - as as everyone else seemed to be withering in pain.
Kris's pain tolerance was a lot greater then most so what would feel like a mere pinch to her could very well feel like a stab wound to everyone else.
"The pain will be gone in a few minutes," Queen Anna called out to reassure everybody.
Kris broke the link, taking in the mark present on her body, her skin had a strip of red from her finger tips to her shoulders, right around her neck and two strips from her collarbones to her stomach. The red strips were all different in sizes, but oddly that looked as if they belonged on her body.
Once Kris was sure most of the people had recovered she begun to instruct everyone, "I need all untrained, injured, children fourteen and under, elderly and their guards to move to the right of the field. The fighters move to the left. Move!"
Once everyone was in the correct group some ten minutes later, Kris continued, "The fighters will follow General Loki's led while I am take the first group."
"Wait!" Someone called out, "your still allowing Loki to be General?"
"Yes, and you will not question me, just because Loki doesn't want me," she took a deep breath and said firmly, "doesn't mean he isn't a good leader."
Loki looked surprised at her words but nevertheless took the lead, grouping people and telling the where their position will be for the fight.
"Follow me!" She called to the first group, walking into the forest that surround the castle, footsteps sounding behind her.
"Where we are going has been a secret that only Jasper and myself know the whereabouts, the shelters that are in her domains are only a fragment of the truth size if the tunnels we are traveling to."
Kris stopped at a large cliff face then turned to look at the hundreds of people behind her, most were scared and crying knowing that loved ones could be dead very soon, but others stood strong hiding their fear.
"Welcome to the tunnels," Kris announced moving the vines away to show a pathway into a cave.
As they walked they noticed the ground go from sort to metal, and soon they had reached a huge opening. There was tables set up all around, some couches had small tv's or a radio sitting on a small table. It was a huge hall, where everyone could come in the daylight hours.
"There are symbols above each door," Kris said pointing out the grand double doors heading in each direction. "Only go into the tunnel that is for you specie, that is an order." Kris said firmly.
"Don't go any further than the bed-chambers as the you'll get lost and most likely die. The tunnels spread all over the island, so again don't venture out by yourself or with others because I will leave you there to die.
"There is kitchen for each specie as to not disturb any other kind with their food. This room we stand in is a communit hall, if I hear anybody staking claims they will be punished by myself. Do don't under any circumstance unlock this door if it isn't me that tells you to, I dint care if it's your mate's voice or your child's do not open the door." She repeated.
"You may go do want you want I have to speak to your guards."
People done as told, most of the elderly made their way to the doors that lead to the rooms. Others took seats and begun to fiddle around with tv, radios, and DVD players.
"Your job is a great honor and if I find out anyone of your has have the slightest idea to shift sides in this war I will not hesitate to torture you til our beg for death. Am I clear?"
"Yes ma'am," the guards echoed a few breaking out in a sweat.
"I need you to keep the peace down here for as long as this war will go on for. Any disruption between them would be like setting a bomb off in a car your in, it's suicide. And I'm trying to keep as many people alive as possible.
"Our trust sits heavy on you all do your job well."
"Auntie Kris!" Kris recognised Kristy calling her.
A guards eyes widened shifting between them both quickly, Kris's eyebrows creased but she thought maybe she had scared them a little too much.
Kristy and Kris meet a few feet from the guards and Kris lent down to hear what Kritsy had to say.
"Okay, thank you," Kris said to the little girl before kissing her cheek and walking away.
Kris marched up to guard she seen fidgeting and threw her arm around him and begun walking tothe main entrances undeterred by his struggling as he attempted to get out of his arms.
"What are doing with him?" A middle-aged man asked stepping forward.
Kris pulled the lever the pull down a huge metal door the blocked of there way te had entered and started at the guards.
"This is what happens to traitors," Kris told them snapping the man's neck.
The body hit the floor just as the doors closed.

Will be setting up camp in the clearing that is a few miles north of here. It is the largest and the best place for us to set up." Look told them.
"General Loki sir, why don't we just stay in the castle, there's enough rooms surely." A boy called Riley said.
Others nodded their heads in agreement.
"And if we were to stay in the castle we would all be scattered in different rooms, you all dint know the castle so you'll mist likely get lost. What's to say you won't be attacked unarmed and you have to run, what happens if you ran into a dead end, hmmm? You die." Kris informed them when she enter taking a place a few steps away from Loki.

It was night when Kris awoke with an nervous inkling that something wasn't quite right. She pulled the shamrock green door flap open and exited the tent, casting a watchful eye over very one looking for any disturbance that might have caused her worry.
Nothing looked out of place, but she couldn't seem to make her uneasiness disperse, there was something wrong she just hadn't found the source yet.
Again Kris scrutinized the camp they had set up that was close to main one, still not finding anything wrong.
She walked around the tents and small fires often dodging limbs of people who had no quite made it into their tents early.
She stopped in front of the centre fire that was nothing but charcoal and ash, and tried to pinpoint why she was feeling this way.
She walked into the ashes of the fire and dug her hand down til it made contact with the soft dirt underneath and dug her hands further into it.
Tiny zaps of electricity coursed through her form and she sighed at the welcome feeling it causd to be connected to nature once again.
She casted out her sense as far as they could go, searching for anything.
Kris stumbled back wrenched her hand from the ground, as hadn't expected so many to attack.
"Get up!" Kris begun to scream, "the DarkOnes are approaching as we speak! Get the Hell up!"
Man and woman jumped up as the sound of screaming clearly disoriented til her words finally seeped into their clouded minds.
As a group they broke the tree line, all ready for battle. The Shapeshifters that were in their animal forms raced along side them, as the sound of metal from the armor of those who chosen to fight with swords rung in their ears. The lower level magic bound that had to say a spell before casting, made their way to their post high within the trees, and the magic bound that could simply wave their hands spead themselves out ready. And for the first time in centuries the vampire and the werewolves fought side but side.
The first DarkOne jumped threw the undergrowth Kris shouted just before the two warring sides meet,
"We Will Prevail"
