Deadly Darkness || Chapter Twenty-Six || Agreed

Before Char could answer Raphael pulled her behind and begun to scolded her.

"You shouldn't have done that Char you could have hurt yourself-"

"Mummy would have done the same". That stopped Raphael from continuing, shocked.

"She would have, wouldn't she? Haha that's my girls" he said grinning softly and pulled Char into a hug.

Kris was by now certain that he had bipolar.

"How?" Kris asked, still kneeling as if afraid that if she stood she would no longer have sight.

"May we take this somewhere more comfortable and secure?"

"Yes of course" Kris replied, but instead of walking towards the doors she walked behind the throne and up to an statute of a huge wolf, pressing down on both eyes at the same time, a piece of the wall moved.

"Holy shit" Brody and Jackson said together in awe.

"Neat isn't it?" not really looking at them but anything and everything her seeing eye could catch.

The royals walked through the tunnels, Kris leading with her eyes closed.

She didn't know the path with sight, Kris was sure she would get everybody lost if she tried.

Meeting with a dead end Kris smiled, she loved this place, maybe she would bring Loki here.

She had never seen it herself, only finding it after her blinding.

All including Kris gasped at the beauty of the hidden courtyard.

From above it looked like any another piece of the castle, but from below you could look up at the clear blue sky through a glass roof.

Wall to wall was filled with huge trees and plants all exotic colours and types. Huge muti-color flowers hung over head, it was as if they had been skunked and placed in a wild clearing.

"What is this place?" Anna whispered awed, not even in the kings lands had she seen such beauty.

All the sudden light begun to give Kris a headache so she unhappily closed her eyes, returning to the darkness.

"How is this possible?" she asked Raphael, the man with all the answers apparently.

Once everyone was seated he begun.

"There are four Originals of every specie, sisters in fact.

When the world was first created they walked the earth, there was four Originals.

Amber, named after the sun, was the first human. She is also the soul reason why us OtherWorlders must stay hidden.

When humans were first thought of the gods wished to use them, servants, slaves, bloodbags etc. etc. but Amber was jealous that her specie would be at the bottom of the foodchain, and they were.

Humans even now are weak defenseless beings but unfortunately they are smart.

Next was Cin, nicknamed the Sinner, she was the creator of the night dwellers. Vampires and other creatures that feed off others life.

Cin was lived up to her name, she was wild, untamable. She was a beauty beyond imagination, but she was very tortured."

"You miss mummy don't you daddy?"

Marcus mouth stopped being the first to connect the dots. "Cin was your beloved"

"She was" Raphael confirmed.

"Your really old" Joshua Marcus's mate said, shocking everyone.

He was normally so quite and soft-spoken.

"That I am, but on with the story.

"Red is the creator of magic, she paved the way for all magic users.

She was incredible powerful and also very destructive. She was a bloodthirsty warrior, but only killed those who had done wrong.

And last but not least there was Trevor. She was the first Wolf. She was like a mother to her sisters, well was until Amber drugged and sold her sister.

You see they live two centuries at a time before dying and being reincarnated two hundred years later. They have been gone a hundred and fifty years.

Another fifty years and I'll have my beloved back." Raphael finished.

Kris was still stuck taking in this information.

Could it be? Could it be this Trevor is her birth mother?

Was this the reason she could do things nobody else can?

"Raphael may I talk to you?" Kris asked gesturing over to a set of trees just out if hearing range of the others.

Once there he asked, "What is it"

"As your aware I killed Annabell, but i got some information from her".

"Go on" he urged.

"She wasn't my biological mother" Raphael eyes widen but didn't interrupt, "she said my mothers name was Trevor"

"Trevor? Are you sure?"

"Quite"

"Shit!" he cursed. "Trevor was always unstable no matter how hard she tried to hid it. This would make sense though, your like her". Raphael mumbled mostly talking to himself then her.

"We will continue this meet tomorrow"

They all walked back threw the tunnels, Raphael carrying a sleeping Char.

Seconds after the stone wall closed and they were in the throne room did the main door smash open, a bloodied solider running in.

"Your majestys there has been an attack!" he told them before falling and succumbing to darkness.

"Dirty bastards!" Kris snarled, they had no honor attacking at night.

"How many are dead?" Kris asked another solider when he entered with a group of bloody men.

"Forty, men, woman and children no one was spared. My group" he pointed to the other men, "are the only ones to survive"

Kris sensing the man was going to reach his breaking point - he must have lost his family - called for the head maid.

"Madam, Queen Kris how may I be of service?"

"Go to a smaller hall and set up fourteen beds for these men, have the medics to come and check them over" she ordered.

"Yes, your majestic" bowing to her and rushing off to that.

The men sent a thankful glance over their shoulders as they left when some castle guards came and helped take them to their room.

"Why didn't you give them there own rooms? There's enough" asked Marcus.

"I know from experience that when you lose something that means alot to you, you don't want to be alone. No matter how strong you think you are"

It was silent for a few seconds.

"We got to fight fire with fire" Annie said, snapping her fingers, a flame appeared

"Yes its time to kill some people"

At once they all said,

"Agreed"
